12 Dead, 31 Wounded in Base Shootings

At least one gunman killed 12 people and wounded 31 in a shooting on Thursday afternoon at Fort Hood in Texas. Military police killed one shooter, who had two guns, and at least two soldiers are in custody.
Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone, the commanding officer at Fort Hood, the largest active military installation in the country, said the base was in lockdown as military authorities, with the help of the Federal Bureau of Investigation investigate the rampage.
“This was a terrible tragedy,” said General Cone, speaking at a news conference Thursday afternoon. “Stunning.”’
An Army spokesman, Gary Tallman, said that the dead gunman was an Army major. A law enforcement official identified the him as Malik Nadal Hassan.

New and disturbing revelations about the shooter have just surfaced. According to neighbors who had little contact with him prior to these events, the day before the shooting he was passing out copies of the Torah and proclaiming that Jews were superior to gentiles. Another source at Fort Hood who barely knew him says that as the shooting occurred he could be heard yelling “die Goyim die” repeatedly.

At the beginning , This CNN reporter Barbara Starr , a correspondent at the Pentagon , began to Spin it immediatlely when Wolff Blizer asked her what she was hearing at the Pentagon about a hour after the shootings happened … Starr opened right away saying there were personal wandering the halls asking each other what was going on at Fort Hood , then Starr put some DRAMA into it when she said she knew a soldier that worked down the hall from her and she said ” he came out of his office IN TEARS wondering if his friends stationed at Fort Hood were hurt . . . I assume she was attempting to get the viewers into a sympathetic mood ?
Then they went back to the main studio to Blitzer. Later when they I.D’ed the dead shooter as Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan , a psychiatrist who previously worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center but more recently was practicing at Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, it was asked where he came from , when a reporter said he previously worked at
Uniformed Services University Of the Health Sciences F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine, Bethesda, Md . . . Blitzer began his SPIN , he said he was very familular with the Bethesda area and he NEVER HEARD of that facility ? , making it seem like this guy was a mystery . momentslater they confirmed that the before mentioned facility did indeed exist but the DRAMA that Blitzer placed into the reporting made me sad for him . He’s suppose to be a professional reporter / lead man and yet he was Spinning the story like a curious child . . . very sad .
I turned the channel after that , I was getting sick to watch these ‘ professional ‘(?) reporters stating without verifying there reporters ASSUMPTIONS about whats going on .
Point here folks is that this is a attempt by the Dark Side to create unrest within our military forces. It’s already WELL known that troop overseas in Iraq and Afhganistan are asking questions about WHY they are there . This isn’t a WAR being fought at these locations but rather a OCCUPATION .

‘Two US privates John Smith and John Henry had been seeing a military psychiatrist major Hasan at Fort hood for a few weeks. Both privates said they were completely against the war of oppression in the middle east and would refuse to report for active duty if ordered to do so.
So the army put them both in therapy with Dr. Hasan. After more than five weeks of therapy both Christian privates were called to go to Afghanistan. Both privates warned they would not go and they would defend themselves with force if the army tried to force them to fight in a war they believed was morally wrong.
Yesterday fellow soldiers tried to surprise the two conscientcious objectors but the privates were prepared and killed 12 soldiers who tried to force their way into the privates’ barracks at Fort Hood.
During the melee their psychiatrist major Hasan, tried to talk the two privates into surrendering but he was shot twice.
Finally both privates were overcome and killed. Their psychiatrist major Hasan is in hospital recovering.’
Officials of the military have spun the story to make it seem the privates’ doctor (who has a muslim sounding name) was the perpetraitor so that the public does not understand just how much resistance there is to the middle east war in the military rank and file.
The whole official Fort Hood cover story is 98% a lie – just like 9/11. Do you trust the main stream media for the truth in a story like this? Heck, for any story?

Chances are he got on base like he would any other day. If he is in uniform, has proper identification, and does not arouse the suspicion of the sentries, he will pass right through the gate. After that, he is on his own. All he had to do was stash a couple of weapons in his back pack in his car and drive them on. Considering he was a Major, the sentries would probably not harass him unless he gave them attitude.

If non-citizens can join our military and be given access to our most powerfu land sphisitcated weaponry, then why shouldn’t non-citizen civilians be able to keep and bear arms?
I am not advocating that non-citizens be allowed to keep and bear arms while in our country, but I am raising it as a rhetorical question to make a point.
The point is that non-citizens whould NEVER be allowed into our military, for the precise reason that as civilians they would not have the right to keep and bear arms in the United States.
No one who would not have the right to keep and bear arms to begin with should ever be allowed to serve in the military and bear arms for the government.

No, they aren’t. There are probably fewer accessible guns on base than out in a town. For the most part, if you live on base, you are not allowed to have your weapons in your home. You have to store them in a base armory. The only people with access to weapons are Military Poilice, CID or NCIS, and if you are on the qualification range. The latter is very controlled and the access to the weapons is very structured and limited.

Not! The military makes a point of disarming the soldiers, especially of their privately owned firearms. The commander on Ft. Hood is a major douche bag, my son was on the base and the commander wanted soldiers to turn in their guns to the sergeant at arms and to fill out forms to disclose if they owned guns. Getting a gun on base is easy. They don’t do 100% vehicle checks. If you really need to get a gun on base just go the Base Exchange and buy one. You would think someone would knock his _ick in the dirt even while he was shooting.

I wonder if the gunman & his associates were part of a sleeper cell? We tragically lost 5 British soldiers yesterday to a shooting by a Taliban assassin who had gotten a job as an Afghani policeman. Most likely PTSD I know, but the news is reporting that 2 others are in custody. I remember this happening in Ft Bragg when I was there. The guy wasn’t getting any help and the Army basically didn’t help him when he needed it. Then his supervisors would make him work some crazy long hours. It was pretty much stress that made him crack. I suppose for a Major (thats what I heard so far) to go that far, it was probably PTSD and his home life. I know, I was going crazy when the first wife left me. It was either “all Army” and please them, or go home and please the wife. She wasn’t paying me but the army was, so I had to choose the army. Life sux that way. I feel bad for all those that were killed and injured because of this fellow. Look at the times we are living in! Everyone is stressed out. The military joes and janes are stress out beyond belief. I was wondering how long it was going to take for an incident like this to happen again.

I’m 16 and I attend highschool. From the begining of the school year to now the camo reapers have come to my school 5 times. They try and sell the “free college” and “nobody is ever deployed” bull Sheiße. I prayed with my 3 year old son to get over a bad fever today. This afternoon he was better and after hearing the horrible news today I prayed with him and he thanked Y’shua for making him better and we prayed for all the soldiers and their families. Here’s my theory on this Fort Hood shooting….Remeber..according to recent Homeland Security, MIAC and CIAC reports…which warned that terrorist may be trying to recruit returning US soldiers.
Well… I heard in early reports (once the name of the dead shooter was known) that Major Malik Nadal Hasan… had converted to Muslim…. Not that he has always been a muslim but converted to it. Dont be surprised if the alCIAda is connected to this story in some way.. Most likely they recurited this Major. as a sleeper cell.
If you ask me this is going to be used or was manufactored to be used as a means to make that connection ….a connection that makes the Homeland, MIAC and CIAC documents credible.. This all a part of their “Americans are terrorist …domestic terrorism plan”..
Also….I would not be surprised at all; if they try to claim that this shooter and his co-horts were members of the Oath Keepers…Just watch….

My only concern is when thousands of them are ordered to fire on innocent americans whose only crime is not wanting to be murdered, or thrown in a concentration camp, or take your microchips and cancer-causing vaccines. That is why in the military, if you want to cry, people dont hold your hand and console you. They scream at you and threaten you like madmen. They are experts at creating killers. Actually, like Tsunami relief in 2006, California wildfires every year, earthquake relief in Indonesia. I was stationed in California and three times we supported the fire suppression and evacuation of people in the danger zone. Also, in 2006, we brought hundreds of thousands of pounds of supplies to the people that got caught up in the tidal wave path. So, unfortunately yes, the military does help some people.
Exploited: If you want to look up some more info on Katrina and the gun confiscations andlack of help, look up who ordered the guns to be confiscated. It was the mayor of New Orleans. The police that enforced it were obviously doing it without legal means. As for the supplies, look up the FEMA supply warehouses that were completely stocked and full before, during and after Katrina. Blame the right people, not the military.
Just like any group in society, there is that 1% of people that just suck. Sure, the military has some people that are just terrible people. But, for the most part, people in the military are good people that want to help their country. Whether they are “awake” or not, they chose to defend what they love. If you want to support them, don’t beat them down but help open their eyes. Constant belittling and putting down of them won’t help.

Looks to me like they are trying to regain support for our current wars since they have really lost support for the wars by the people. Was watching Fox news and the cousin of this suspected shooetr called in and said that the shooter was not violent.
Fox was reporting that he was a recent muslim convert but the cousin refutes this and says he has always been muslim.
Fox also reported that the shooter has seen combat tours total and served in both the wars but the cousin refutes this too has said that is a lie that the shooter has not seen war or combat in Iraq or afghanistan not to mention combat at all and he was a career soldier since he got out of highschool.
Fox reported that the shooter had served in an R.O.T.C. program in highschool inlisted in the miltary after highschool and recieved a degree in psychology or psychiatry.
What was also interesting is the shooter according to Shepard Smith when they discussed the shooters educational background that they also stated he had a bachelor degree in microbiology and was station at Walter Reed in Washington D.C.
He apparently ruffled some feathers and they shipped him to Fort Hood and it was reported that he wads to be shipped out for combat deployment and this set the shooter off.
The cousin of the shooter said they were made aware that he was gonna be shipped out and the shooter was upset because he didn’t want to be deployed and had a fear of having to go so it is reported.
But the interesting thing was they only mentioned the bachelor degree in micro biology one time and it was brief and quick then they went to commercial and it was never spoken agian.
They mainly painted the fact that he was a psychologist.
They claim that he was armed with 2 pistols but when it was first reported that there was automatic weapons fire from a military pastor and also there was report of a sniper with a high power rifle.
Basis of the story we will never know probably whats really going on.

I would just like to say that The shooter in question from all pictures that have been circulating looked as though he hasnt passed a pt test in five years. Why would an army major who specialized in shell shock in walter reade and supposedly counseledand helped those struggling with the war suddenly transform into rambo and be able to even accomplish this act on his own. With two pistols and adequate time for trained army to respond to this lone tubby assailant how could he reload with two pistols in each hand fast enough and accurately enough to kill 11 and wound 31. I mean if we were talking a bangkok shoot em up gangster film sure the guns would reload themselves and nobody could get close enough to touch him. Ft. Hood is filled to the brim with infantry who are trained to handle situations like this and yet it took the swat to take him out???? Something is definately up with this one. apparently a miltary chaplin has said there was multpile arms fire from different locations on the base more than one shooter. There was small arms fire and there was automatic weapons fire also along with highpower sniper fire so this was happening simultaneously from3 diffrent locations so there has to 3 shooters as well.

The base I stayed at in the U.S. was a violent place with lots of criminal activity, all types of people are allowed in people are judged on their physical ability not their character. As for most soldiers not foillowing orders that are unconstitutional, I say HOGWASH. Most have never read the constitution, and wouldn’t understand it if they did. They follow unconstitutional orders every day, such as obeying orders to deploy in unconstitutional, undeclared wars, and in covert ops violating U.S. and international law, to name just a couple.
The U.S. government has become a crimina lorganization fro mtop to bottom, and the U.S. military, being part of the executive branch, is directly invovled in executing and supporting the corruption and criminalty. Maybe that is the goal of the operation, which is to demonize semi-automatic firearms and create enough outrage to support a complete ban for civilians.
After all, what better way to prove to the public just hwo awful and deadly these weaons are than to show how one man with a pair of semi-auto handguns could take out dozens of soldiers on a military base, no less. The average person is going to look at that and their first thought will be “gee, if he had been in a civilian area the slaughter would have been far, far worse than even that”. The next though will be “we have to ban all such wepaons because now we see what they can do to even those best able to defend themselves.”.
The other point it will make is that no one, not even highly trained veteran soldier can protect against the evil semi-automatic firearm in the wrong hands.
This whole thing could easily be a psy-ops against the american people to gather support for civilian disarmament.

1: Everyone has a brain. Not using it is no excuse. As for Soldiers, they need to know the risks, and perhaps remember their oath to DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION. This would put a stop to all the overseas fighting. As such, I do not believe the average soldier is a good person. Clearly they are NOT. Have not been since WW2 and even that is debatable.

Ok, I feel like I need to shed some light on this situation. I am recently retired from the Army and live right outside of Fort Hood. I was stationed at Fort Hood for six years as part of the 4th ID. I deployed twice and was fortunate enough to pick up a copy of Loose Change by mistake during my second tour in Iraq which changed my perspective on things. I will never be ashamed of my time in the Army and always did my best to treat Iraqi’s and Americans with the utmost respect.
All of that being said, I am very familiar with the situation on Fort Hood today. I wasn’t too far away when it happened and I have a pretty good handle on what went down. I hate to ruin the potential for a conspiracy here (As I told my spouse, I would have been the first to call BS had it not happened so close to me, given the health care rally and impending vote) but there is nothing out of the ordinary here. Here is what I know;
1. This guy did work at the mental health office on Fort Hood. I know people who work there and they confirmed it to me.
2. a-Anyone in the military knows that there are two Armies in the Army. There is the regular Army and then there is the Medical Corps. Making rank while staying completely under the radar is easy in the Army medical world.
b-I was a medic in the Army and I can tell you that there is NO Army school where you can go and become a mental health doctor. This guy was trained at a civilian medical school.
3. I used to work in the building where this went down and I can give you the exact layout. The shootings occured at the Sportsdome on the west side of post. CNN kept showing the education center all day which is a mile down the road. This facility is actually an old sports bar that they converted to a ghetto deployment readiness center. The building is octogon shaped and can hold about 200 to 300 soldiers. If this guy was standing in the right spot in this building it would be like shooting fish in a barrel. Soldiers are crammed in pretty tight with really no place to go. I would even venture to say that he may have been hitting more than one soldier with each shot.
******I will admit, it seems very odd that this guy hit 43 people with two 9 mm’s before he was taken down. Medical officers almost exclusivly carry and train with 9mm Berettas so he was probably very familiar with the weapon, but a 9mm mag only carries 15 rounds. For this to have happened he had to have either hit more than one person with most of his shots or he reloaded. I don’t believe for a minute that anyone would have let him reload. I carried a 9mm and we were trained to reload fast, but come on. *************
4. You guys would not believe how many cops there are on Fort Hood. I used to live on post and I was amazed at the number of cops there are. There are 2 types of cop on Fort Hood; DOD contracted civilian police and military MP’s. Both patrol the base and both handle all manner of military function. I have personally been ticketed by both and I can tell you that the MP’s are much worse. The police station on Fort Hood is only about 2 blocks from where this went down so response time would have been quick. Just to re-iterate, Fort Hood is a police state! I have heard that there is 1 cop for every 25 people on base and I would believe it. Just at an average traffic stop there will be 4 or 5 cop cars.
5. Soldiers DO NOT carry guns around. The only time a soldier has a gun is when they are cleaning them or they are going to or from a shooting range/FTX. Control over weapons on base is very tight. It is illegal to even transport a weapon in a vehicle on base without the proper paperwork. I have wanted to zero my gun on post but there is wayyyy too much paperwork to do it. Even soldiers who live in on-post housing are supposed to check their weapons into their company arms-room. They really don’t have a way of knowing who does unless you get caught or run your mouth. I remember signing paperwork swearing that I didn’t have a gun when I signed for on-post housing.
6. As of about 6 months ago the PX (on base store) started selling handguns. I was suprised by this given their tight controls. This guy could have purchased the guns and ammo on post and then gone on his rampage. No one is really going to question a major, not even civilians who work on post.
7. Finally, the fact that this guy is muslim is a red herring. There are people of every national origin on the base. Once again HE WAS A MAJOR!! That is all anyone looks at on an Army base. Field grade officers are not questioned about anything. Him not believing in the war is not that significant either. Very few of us understood why or what we were doing in Iraq. After I saw Loose Change I really didn’t understand.
The bottom line is this. This happens all the time in the Army, just not as publicized and not as many people killed and injured at once. We had 12 soldiers commit suicide and 3 homicides in our Brigade during my last deployment. Dozens of soldiers go AWOL before a deployment. Very few soldiers want to deploy and some will do whatever it takes not to go. This was just a pissed off officer who had made up his mind not to deploy and saw it through. This was a medical officer, not a hardened infantry guy. He didn’t train, he didn’t sweat, he didn’t deploy, and he certainly wasn’t a trained killer. He sat in a nice little air conditioned office next to the hospital all day and listened to soldiers complain about their problems.
I will be on Fort Hood tomorrow and I will try to get more info from some guys I know who work there.

thanks for your comments…..you’ve been there…I’ve haven’t (Military) (but lived in/out/around military family)….I just try to sort through the information/disinformation. It’s tough. Yet now at age 50, I have a much clearer view when I am getting screwed. thanks for your long thoughtful input.

I could buy your story IF it weren’t for the MULTIPLE contradictions regarding EVERY facet of this story as it unfolded and as “facts” come in. However, since there STILL isn’t a consensus about how it went down and there are STILL a zillion contradictions and things that don’t add up, I have to believe it didn’t go down the way it’s being spun. I think it’s something big, because the media/military are really screwing up their spin.

I am curious on two things. First, how come the other suspects religion or race is not mentioned. The only thing we get to hear is about how one of them was a muslim. Second, why did they lie about the man being dead. Look on the latest news and you will see that it is reported that he is alive and in custody. I read this on abc and something in the article also caught my eye. The report new this and everything else about this man, including statements from family members, but they said he was either 39 or 40. Now if anyone can answer me on how they have all the info in the world and a whole story about this muslim officer and don’t even know his age i am all ears. The “shoorer” was/is a Major who is a psychiatrist. This officer is also a “devout” Muslim who had never before been deployed overseas.
Apparently, he had tried on numerous occassions to stop his deployment based on his religious beliefs, and, because he was afraid that he might have to kill his “fellow Muslims”.
This info was provide by Col. Hornory (?) from Ft. Hood, TX, this morning.
Also, the “shooter” is still alive, and the death/wounded toll has been amended: 13 dead/30 wounded.

The truth is probably something VERY different. For example:
‘Two US privates John Smith and John Henry had been seeing a military psychiatrist major Hasan at Fort hood for a few weeks. Both privates said they were completely against the war of oppression in the middle east and would refuse to report for active duty if ordered to do so.
So the army put them both in therapy with Dr. Hasan. After more than five weeks of therapy both Christian privates were called to go to Afghanistan. Both privates warned they would not go and they would defend themselves with force if the army tried to force them to fight in a war they believed was morally wrong.
Yesterday fellow soldiers tried to surprize the two consciencious objectors but the privates were prepared and killed 12 soldiers who tried to force their way into the privates’ barracks at Fort Hood.
During the mele their psychiatrist major Hasan, tried to talk the two privates into surrendering but he was shot twice.
Finally both privates were overcome and killed. Their psychiatrist major Hasan is in hospital recovering.’
Officials of the military have spun the story to make it seem the privates’ doctor (who has a muslim sounding name) was the perpetraitor so that the public does not understand just how much resistance there is to the middle east war in the military rank and file.

If Gordon Brown and the dicks who run our Parliament said grass was green we wouldn’t believe them even though we were standing on it. I served in the mob and the PBI have to go where they are told but the whole Irag/Afghanistan scenario stinks like an untreated cess pool. I firmly believe its all a plan to hem Iran in on all sides. 12 dead, 31 wounded=a minimum of 43 shots. If you add the amount of missed shots plus the amount of victims who were shot more than once I would think that the number of shots fired would easily add up to over 100 shots and it is hard to believe that this was done by one man with two handguns. I doubt the psychiatrist was a very good shot or capable of reloading that many times.
