Since 9/11, and seemingly without the notice of most Americans, the federal government has assumed the authority to institute martial law, arrest a wide swath of dissidents (citizen and noncitizen alike), and detain people without legal or constitutional recourse in the event of “an emergency influx of immigrants in the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs.”
Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of single-bid contracts with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed locations within the United States. The government has also contracted with several companies to build thousands of railcars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to transport detainees.
According to diplomat and author Peter Dale Scott, the KBR contract is part of a Homeland Security plan titled ENDGAME, which sets as its goal the removal of “all removable aliens” and “potential terrorists.”
Fraud-busters such as Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Los Angeles, have complained about these contracts, saying that more taxpayer dollars should not go to taxpayer-gouging Halliburton. But the real question is: What kind of “new programs” require the construction and refurbishment of detention facilities in nearly every state of the union with the capacity to house perhaps millions of people?
Sect. 1042 of the 2007 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), “Use of the Armed Forces in Major Public Emergencies,” gives the executive the power to invoke martial law. For the first time in more than a century, the president is now authorized to use the military in response to “a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, a terrorist attack or any other condition in which the President determines that domestic violence has occurred to the extent that state officials cannot maintain public order.”
The Military Commissions Act of 2006, rammed through Congress just before the 2006 midterm elections, allows for the indefinite imprisonment of anyone who donates money to a charity that turns up on a list of “terrorist” organizations, or who speaks out against the government’s policies. The law calls for secret trials for citizens and noncitizens alike.
Also in 2007, the White House quietly issued National Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51), to ensure “continuity of government” in the event of what the document vaguely calls a “catastrophic emergency.” Should the president determine that such an emergency has occurred, he and he alone is empowered to do whatever he deems necessary to ensure “continuity of government.” This could include everything from canceling elections to suspending the Constitution to launching a nuclear attack. Congress has yet to hold a single hearing on NSPD-51.
U.S. Rep. Jane Harman, D-Venice (Los Angeles County) has come up with a new way to expand the domestic “war on terror.” Her Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 (HR1955), which passed the House by the lopsided vote of 404-6, would set up a commission to “examine and report upon the facts and causes” of so-called violent radicalism and extremist ideology, then make legislative recommendations on combatting it.
According to commentary in the Baltimore Sun, Rep. Harman and her colleagues from both sides of the aisle believe the country faces a native brand of terrorism, and needs a commission with sweeping investigative power to combat it.
A clue as to where Harman’s commission might be aiming is the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, a law that labels those who “engage in sit-ins, civil disobedience, trespass, or any other crime in the name of animal rights” as terrorists. Other groups in the crosshairs could be anti-abortion protesters, anti-tax agitators, immigration activists, environmentalists, peace demonstrators, Second Amendment rights supporters … the list goes on and on. According to author Naomi Wolf, the National Counterterrorism Center holds the names of roughly 775,000 “terror suspects” with the number increasing by 20,000 per month.
What could the government be contemplating that leads it to make contingency plans to detain without recourse millions of its own citizens?
The Constitution does not allow the executive to have unchecked power under any circumstances. The people must not allow the president to use the war on terrorism to rule by fear instead of by law.

In response to Danny D’s quote…. Everytime you leave your email address, its added to a mailing list somewhere and used for marketing purposes, in one way or another. Unfortunately, thats the way the world works nowadays…. As far as this article, I’m beginning to find this all too sickly. After following this sort of corruption pre-9/11, and not really believing it at the time, I get a cold chill down my back now, after putting all the pieces together and finding out exactly what these people have in store for us…. Spread the word, people need to wake up and band together. What the people in charge are trying to do is “Divide and conquer!”. They make people fear other people, so everyone is too fearful to trust anyone. Together, we can beat this tyranny, alone we have already lost. Conquer fear with love and respect for eachother!!! funny, the other day when willie was on the Alex Jones show, I wanted to call in and thank him… and his daughter Amy, she was one of the very few people I met when I was in San Deigo that could get me out of my worldly stuper, and lead me to Jesus. I didn’t get saved at the time, but we debated, and she made me question science and evolution, and undid some of the brain washing school did…She planted the seeds, and later I came around, and got saved, and now I’m fighting the NWO, and low and behold, Willie comes on the Alex Jones show, it’s like everything has come full circle.

Man the internet is amazing, you can find any information you want. I know a guy who just graduated from a world renouned computer science program at a local unversity. He said that if Microsoft gave up it’s code to a government they would have the ability to look at whatever is on your computer whenever it is on.
We know Bill Gates gave BILLIONS to planned parenting, which is a eugenics lab that changed it’s name when it came from Nazi Germany. (see Endgame for refs.)
So, just remember what microsoft/Apple are all in the same boat, just look at the article that was written from the owner of Sun Technologies saying that there are some computer companies that are hell bent on owning everything.

Like Alex and others have mentioned (including by the UN itself), food will be a likely tool to force cooperation with the government in times of crisis. Look at the massive consolidation of foodstuff providers to a handful of multinational conglomerates, and it is now much easier to claim a widespread contamination or loss of our food supply. Such a disaster could call into play forced innoculations against some real or imagined virus or enviromental agent. Look at the hysteria over the lead claims against Chinese toys, pet food and toothpaste, and multiply that by everything we consume. I think in addition to that shotgun you have under your bed, it would be a good idea to set aside an ample supply of stored food as well.

Only around 113 years of time had passed since the last of the Native Tribes were rounded up and put on their Rez’s/Reservations & suddenly lots of white folks living on their share of the stolen Indian land had found they had come so far they were nowhere at all.
They seemed most unhappy about almost everything. Wasn’t their share of the stolen Indian land pie big enough for them?
Did they discover their Govt was lying to them? The lies were fine for the white folk as long as things were good for them, but when things started going bad for them then they got concerned about the lies.
Perhaps being put in camps & left to rot would be good for them? They could experience what many Native Tribes already experienced while the white folks were busy worshipping themselves, money, & their world!
While even I attended their European style of Schools I also attended Indian School. One of the lessons was never involve yourself with white folks and their world as it is just some type of lying murdering thieving snake pit of a Beast.
Yes, the worshipped themselves, and money. They worshipped what they call their Constitution as well as what they call their Bill of Rights. They worshipped the world they built that slowly but surely became an even more festering hell on earth & will continue on becoming an even more festering hell on earth.
I, being me, as I always am, was completely unconcerned about these things as I am just singing, dancing, and playing right through their world. I didn’t have even a single thing to do with their political world. Didn’t care who was or wasn’t elected. Didn’t care what who Elected did or didn’t do during what they call their term in office.
Another lesson of Indian school is the white folks will always do what they want to do without any concern for anyone else upon the planet because they always do these things especially if they involve worldly power & money.

Sorry shadow dancer, because I think you missed the ball on this one. See the whole anger with “the white man” doesn’t make sense, and it’s that kind of attitude that divides us and allows others their small victories. It’s not just “the white man” as much as the proverbial “the white man”. See when you judge someone based solely on appearance, you are actually exactly as bad as “the white man”. No offense, just trying to keep things fair, because I think you are speaking of a mentality rather than a certain look or race.

ITs comming and all I can say to all out there is get some food stuff put away and a hell of alot of ammo.hide your food and guns or fix a place where you can because its on the way .Keep your eyes on the stock market if it starts falling by say 300, to 500 pt. in one day watch the next day if there is a big sell off and the market closes early. the next day all hell will brake lose,head for the hills!! Once the montary system fall apart the camp doors will be opened for incomming not out going. Try to store about 30 days of food,fishing gear,so on your going to need them!!!

That is why we need a Revolution, we need to take up arms, and if need be sacrifice ourselves, for our children and grandchildren, we need to stop this raping of the American citizens by the government, and all they will understand is when they themselves are chained, and abused. I think Shadow Dancer is dead on, and I am one of the white men. I look around, and although some people are waking up, things aren’t getting better and I don’t really subscribe to the sort of inexplicable optimism that certain “truthers” and “conspiracy theorists” engage in. I’m not a defeatist, I will fight to the bitter end, but it is a fight I expect to lose, and I don’t harbor any hope of society changing or waking up on a massive scale. We’re too fucking selfish, too self-absorbed, distracted, petty, overworked, enraged, indolent, intoxicated, avaricious…the list goes on and on. I want to believe that people are inherently good and decent, but all available evidence argues against that belief. Just look at the way people drive – putting their lives and your lives at risk everyday, and for no real purpose, they don’t even reach their destinations faster. Watch who “wins” the election this year, and watch how many people celebrate, applaud, and praise the “winner”. It isn’t just ignorance, it isn’t just stupidity, it is collective mental illness and it isn’t going away. The question, to me anyway, isn’t what can be done…but rather, do you want to die as a slave or as a free man? If that day comes, I will be ready. Otherwise, I will do what I can to fight back against tyranny and help those who can’t defend themselves.

For those of you who are not old enough to remenber the Iran-Contra hearings where Oliver North gave Testimony before Congress in the mid-late 1980s. He was asked point blank by one of the Menbers of the Commitee “IF INFACT HE WAS PART OF A GOVERNMENT PLAN TO SUSPEND THE CONSTITUTION, AND PUT IN PLACE A SHADOW GOVERNMENT IN THE EVENT OF A NATIONAL EMERGENCY, AND IF HE WAS PART OF A PROGRAM TO OPEN UP DETENTION CAMPS FOR MASSIVE ROUND UPS OF US CITIZENS?” When this Filthy Maggot was asked this question point blank he became enraged, he was astonished that someone had the gall to bring that up. Of course the bastard did not answer the question, and another scumbag Commitee Menber was more than happy to bail him out, some fat lard from Hawaii. So you see, this is nothing new, they have been planing all this for some time, and most of us have been in the dark. The good news is their plans are been exposed more and more, and their secret userpation of our Replublic is now coming to light. You will come to find that the constitution and bill of rights will be done away with ,in favour of Canadian law.This is so that the North American Union is harmonized.
