Editor’s note: Obviously, this kid’s shirt mentions al-CIA-duh, not the terrorists on Wall Street, ready to inflict more damage on America than a few Muslim cave dwellers and patsies.

An 11-year-old in Aurora says his first amendment rights are being trampled after he was suspended for wearing a homemade shirt that reads “Obama is a terrorist’s best friend.”

The fifth grader at Aurora Frontier K-8 School wore it on a day when students were asked to wear red, white and blue to show their patriotism.

The boy’s father Dann Dalton describes himself as a “proud conservative” who has taken part in some controversial anti-abortion protests. Dalton says the school made a major mistake by suspending his son for wearing the shirt.

    2. taylor Says:

sickening shirt ..i dont like obama but i really fucking hate the term terrorist i think im going crazy

    3. Tim Says:

First of all, it is completely WRONG for a parent to get their children to display the parents’ political views, there are only a couple of real terrorists they are shrub and cheney, obama, mccain, they are playing for the same people, our two party (joke) system gives the sheep the impression that they have a choice HA… Ha… Ha…

    4. sinic Says:

this father was wrong in making his 10 year old kid where a shirt with a statement he couldn’t possibly defend or understand.
a fifth grader is a kid,let him be a KID. in another 5 or 6 years he can start to wrap his mind around this criminal government and everything that comes with it.
but for now, let him have his wii and his innocence.

this dad is officially labeled: douche nozzle

    5. jay Says:

that just fucking bullshit so much for freedom of speach glad to say i am not liveing in the u.s. nay way cheers from Canada XD

    6. Ken Says:

This is terrible, but I am SO heartened that our young people are waking up!

grounds for legal action against the school, hope POPPA takes it. :?

    9. The Ghost of Tom Joad Says:

Art is resistance. I might not agree with his parents message, but if he keeps it up, he’ll start to think on his own, through creativity. Fifth graders should be worried about being a kid, not politics. Total brainwashing of our children. The parents are sick.

    10. John B in Florida Says:

      GO DALTON JR!!!

    11. Shortstride Says:

I’ve read through the comments at this point. I’m a bit surprised at some that have stated that the parents shouldn’t have “made” their kid where a shirt like that. This is just another “If MY kid said that, it would be insightful. If another kid said that, it would be bad parenting”.

Personally, I see it like this………Out of the mouths of babes.

    12. Joshua Says:

      Freedom of speech ?

first amendment protects free speech but we all know the last 50 years free speech has become a threat to world peace ;)

      Just like all things

If people can not say what they like then what is the point in freedom

    13. investigate7/7 Says:

Yea, his rights were WRONGLY taken away from him, but, by things happening the way they did his message has reached a far wider audience. i wish i was so intouch with with the world when i was 11!! good on him.

    14. HouseDiva Says:

      stupid kid…racist parents

11 year olds cant even vote; so who gives a shit what the little spoiled brat thinks…they were right to suspend him.

    15. SIPCAT-C Says:

Freedom of Speech. I’d sue. If he wore a shirt depicting sodomy between two homosexuals, he would have been applauded for his courage and “open mind.”

Obama wasn’t born in America anyways.

    16. Scott Says:

One more reason to get the government out of the education business.

    17. Jeffrey Says:

Freedom of speech for ALL, that means no matter what their party affiliation, race, nationality, religion, etc., and whether or not we might “personally” agree with what’s spoken…or in this case written. Let’s not forget folks, we can’t shoot ourselves (and our pro-constitutional message) in the foot with words that speak contrary to our beliefs….cuz doing so shows hypocrisy that only serves to weaken our credibility. Let’s be and remain “better” than those that have gotten us into this mess, in both word and in deed.

    18. RIGHTS AT HOME NOW! Says:

      poor kids.

    19. sinic Says:

#12, the father DID make his kid wear that shirt, and he also MADE the shirt.(even thought that chicken scratch looked like a 10 year old made it) the only reason the child has any say in the matter is because his father drove those thoughts in his brain. im sure the father new that this would stir up trouble and that is whats wrong.
apparently he is too much of a pussy to go and shout his own beliefs to his coworkers and decided to make his kid become his message board for his ignorant two party garbage beliefs.
Schools clearly state that you cannot wear clothing that disrupts the learning process, freedom of speech does not include the freedom to break all the rules.
by enrolling his child in a public school, he is saying that his child will abide by the rules put forth by the school..he didnt..bottom line.
i live in Denver and the stupidity here is appalling (both left and right) but i couldn’t go to my job with a shirt that has this on it,and if i refused to take it off, they could fire me because i broke the code and rules i agreed to by accepting this job, and no amendment would protect my choice to break the rules at my work. its called a dress code and its a reality in this world.

    20. HouseDiva Says:

the kids at that school should have pelted that stupid kid with spitballs for wearing that tacky shirt.

    21. UseURHEAD Says:

McCain,Bush, and Obama are all a terrorist’s best friend. For this white boy right-wing conservative to wear a shirt like that shows how racist and asleep his parents are for solely mentioning Obama (a person of color) on their “right to freedom of speech” shirt. Good work in suspending that ignorant kid.
      Vote third party.

    22. Margie Says:

Listen House Diva When you consider an issue like freedom of Speech when you are trampling on a persons rite to FOS remember tommorow it could be u wearing a shirt telling your ideals and viewpoints on the matter. Then it is holy hell isn;t it because it is your rite to free expression,it works both ways in a free country so all that want to smash freedom of choice or freedom of Home Ed remember u are taking away a persons rite to control thier families and their lifestlyle if you want to control others than I say u should move to Irag where the clerics will love and admire U so dont throw spit balls on someone elses freedom less it be u tommorow.

    23. 4w578i Says:

Why doesn’t the father raise his own kid, all day?

    24. sensible solution Says:

      lunatic family

    25. truth isnt fiction Says:

All this fraudulent politicing is due to an attempt by anti-christian, anti god elements working within the freemasons, illuminati and other groups that are public trying to fulfill prophecy and make armegeddon happen because they have a murderers spirit. They wish for many to die, they lie, cheat and steal from you until they get there way and guess what america, your letting them, in fact your running into the city like fools. the only peace will come through everyone having the same knowledge base and deposing the modern alchemists using deception to influence your brainwaves causing your lapse in judgement, shop, ignore, eat, sleep..basic programming. That might be you.

    26. mayday Says:

I don’t how many of you just love Obama, the fact is the kid has a right to free speech and no, no one should have been spitting spit balls at him, nor should he have been suspended. You may not agree with what he said, but it is his right to say it and the more you complain, the steps get closer to where all free speech is gone to to the whining of people. This crap is going on way too much, a in the kid who only wore an American flag shirt getting into trouble. How insane is this? How I wish we could go back to the good days.

    27. artosnic Says:

      @ mayday

You would probably be singing a different tune if he wore a short saying, “McCain is a bible-thumping warmonger psycho.” Where as one is offensive to religious people, the t-shirt was suggesting that just because Obama is on the opposite end of the political spectrum, that he is somehow chummy with terrorists. I don’t think he should have been suspended, after all it is free speech, now matter how idiotically some people choose to use it, but parents shouldn’t be using their kids as political billboards either; unless someone actually thinks an 11 year old chose to wear it and wasn’t in fact given the t-shirt by his parents. Schools should be political-bias free zones. In my civics class I listened to the teacher outright lie about Tomas Hobbes’ political philosophy, and considering we were all grade 10’s mostly everyone was eating it up because they assume everything a teacher tells them is fact. So if anything the school should have brought it up with his parents rather than punishing the student for it.

    28. theTruder Says:

Think this was bad, similarly another kid in the state ot texas I believe was forced to take off his shirt that was a tye dye american flag and forced to wear a shirt saying Dress Code Violator.

    29. kwitcherbychinanddosomething Says:

I live in Aurora, On the morning news today, the principle of the school was on saying that this boy was not suspended for wearing the shirt, he was “actually suspended for”…………are you ready for this…….” CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE. The school feels it is their responcibility to teach our children how to be obedient, patriotic, and to honor state and country.”, was the schools final word on this matter. What a crock!! The boys dad is talking to an attorney about a lawsuit, as the school has changed their position in this matter 3 times since it started. All of which have violated the childs civil rights and liberties.

    30. pitbull Says:

the father meant to writte osama, not obama. yes i know the’re cousins but the don’t share views, except their both muslim, but that doesn’t make osama oops i meam obama a terrosits. see how easy a slip up is. so please have some respect for mr. hussein.

    31. Canadian Guy Says:

Whatever the reason, people have a right to say what they want to say (no matter how stupid, arrogant or racist it may be), it’s up to the people around them to decided if they want to listen. It becomes a problem when people say “he can’t do/say that because it’s something I don’t like to hear.”

Everyone has a right to critize this kid, just like he had the right to wear the shirt, but taking away the shirt is just as good as taking away his rights (even if his father made the shirt). People need to stop being so arrogant over having other “hurting their feelings” with ideas or words.

And if you respond to this try to do it in an intelligent way or don’t… it’s your right to say whatever you want, in whatever way you want.

    32. Dave Says:

I agree with #5. That kid is way too young to have an opinion on such matters. On that note he should not have been suspended. They should have talked directly to the boys father and advised him of the unethical behavior of using his son as a billboard.

    33. Patriot Says:

Everyone on this earth is free from the very first breath they take. I will say whatever the fuck I want because I can and I will. If anybody has any objection they are of course entitled to their opinions. I may not agree with what some people say but I will defend to the death their right to say it. Every American should feel the same way. Schools do not have the authority to infringe on peoples constitutional rights. They are not dictators. They are fucking public schools. The father should sue the fuck out of them, get a huge settlement from it and then take his kid out of that school and go to a more civilized institution somewhere else.

    34. kwitcherbychinanddosomething Says:

#21 Who the hell are you??? You have no idea what the hell you are talking about. That boy did not ask to be ridiculed or accausted for wearing that shirt. Were the ones who made the real physical problem suspended? No they weren’t. If i am assaulted for having a shirt that says “Stop slave labor. Don’t shop Walmart” because it is someone else’s favorite place to shop, does that mean i am responsible for paying the fine for provoking the assault? I think not. In the school, they do not have the same dress codes as work places, believe me, i put five kids through colorado schools. It is clear and always has been clear that the schools in colorado are biased, all are democrats.
#23 pay attention here. When my kids were little the were coming home from school telling me that we have to vote for Clinton. When I asked why, they told me their teacher said it would help the school. This kind of thing did not happen when the kids wore Anti-Bush t-shirts to school in 2004. In fact it was encouraged by the schools. As for being a racist family, I am sick to death of hearing and seeing the racist card pulled and thrown down every time someone doesn’t molly cottle the (a person of color). My God!! Get over yourself #23, did you ever think that maybe the family doesn’t like Obama because he’s a politician, he’s full of crap, just like the rest? Did you even stop to think before you went and pulled that card?? I don’t think so. If the family is such right wing extremists, it has nothing to do with the man’s color, it has everything to do with his political party. Would it have been any different if it were Hillary on that shirt, (god forbid she had been the nominee)?? I think not!!

    35. G Says:

Pull him out. No way any kid of myne will go to a public institution.
      Go private !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    36. uk patriot Says:

As long as we have brave, informed kids likethis in the world, we all have a future. Another Ron Paul in the making.

    37. sinic Says:

      well kwitcherbychinanddosomething ,
you still did not give argument to the fact that if you wear a shirt, irregardless of its message, and it is DISRUPTIVE then it is inappropriate for the public slave station.those are the rules, bieng that you put kids through the school system here,id think you’d realize there is a DRESS CODE.
i went to all grades here in colorado, and even saw a friend suspended for wearing a t shirt from a band fugazi that said “fuck racism” on the back of it. think there was a media explosion about that?
after he was suspended FOR THE SAME THIN, his parents didn’t cry about it because they are realistic and understand there are BOUNDARIES ,and he broke them.
do you wear offensive t shirts to work? tell me how many businesses have you been in where the employees are wearing provocative clothing?
if that kids father disagrees with school policy, pull your kid out of school and educate them yourself.
      u

    43. MM Says:

brainwashed so called conservative brainwashing his kid. poor kid dad doesn’t have the sense to know mccain and obama are the same and that obama is no more a friend to the terrorist than mccain is. vote 3rd party but avoid cnp council for national policy chuck baldwin.

    44. GetAClue Says:

That kid’s dad is an idiot. It’s one thing to know the truth and another one entirely to skyline yourself and your family in a vain attempt to make a statement.

This is not how to get the message across.

      Dumb and dumber…

    45. John in Texas Says:

I agree mostly with MM post #45 on the vote 3rd party, but I don’t put restrictions. I see the best that educated voters can do right now is vote for whoever they like the most, specially if it is not one of the tw obig parties. I believe it is too late to take the election away from obama or mccain, even with the market the way it is, but if we can take over a third of the general votes away from both parties, then that will be a worthy footnote in the history books.
The only way we can save the country without spilling innocent blood is by shocking the establishment. Once people and politicans see that their is a growing group of educated and politically active citizens then others will step-up like Ron Paul and we can take back the government from the ground up.

I had a history teacher back in the ninth grade who gave me a bad grade because I told her Ross Perot still had a chance of winning the presidency. I also had a teacher back in the 8th grade cancel the in class election poll because there were two votes for David Duke. That kids need to call a conservative ACLU group and sue the school district for being nazi jews.

    53. Hiram Abiff Says:

Hey Truth is Fiction, Fuck you !!!. Masons wrote your constitution, and created your country, but YOU are letting a bunch of CORPORATE SCUMBAGS steal it. We started the Revolution that got this country where is was, but you let it slip away. All you do is hide behind your computer, and bitch, and do nothing, So shut your mouth. Your Forfathers, and my Brethren gave this country to you as a gift, and you lost it. You gave it away to a bunch of Bankers. Maybe you deserve what you get in life, Deal with it. For the real patriots, if you want something in this day and age, you have to take it. Not beg for someone to give it to you, or save you. You will only save yourself.
And this little kid, was only doing what his piece of shit father was making him do. He is a coward, plain and simple. And who gives a rats ass if Obama is black. it would have been the same if McCain’s name was on it. Fuck, he’s not black, he’s fucking bi racial, there’s alot of white in him too. And for the douche bag who said, “he wasn’t even born in the U.S.” what the fuck do you think Hawaii is . it’s a fucking state. You simple minded dipshit.

    54. Mason Says:

i remeber talking in my American govt class last year. i was bashing hillary, obama, and mccain. Everyone got so offended, im sorry. Then i asked the teacher what Obama’s pastor was saying that was controversial and she said AIDS and he said 9/11 was our fault. All the seniors eyes filled with disgust and rage and was saying why would our gvt want that for our country. I didnt even go there to take the class on a little mental field trip. I would have probably been suspended. Plus no one would believe me. Because how could our precious govt do something so bad and yet they would spend millions fluoridating the water for our supposed cavity free teeth. So many people are in the dark especially the younger ones. Although i see alot more people interested now.

I’m deeply offended by the outlook Aussie has expressed here, and i’d like to quip. I believe Aussie has every right to an opinion, and the expression thereof. I do not mean this as a personal attack, nor would i ever burn an Aussie book. I’m merely expressing myself.
for starters, where’s the intelligence in a statement rife with hate speech and flippant obscenity that aims to condemn or validate condemnation of the hate speech and flippant obscenity others might express? maybe you’re just trying to irritate some emotional response from people to prove a point, but hopefully people here are cognitive enough to understand a message without having to vomit it out and examine the pieces.
Secondly, the point all us ““one eyed” free speecher’s” have been attempting to convey is that the father, child, other children, teachers, faculty, parents, etc. all have cognitive abilities, and as such should be allowed the opportunity to express those capabilities (to the extent that they do not infringe upon another’s right to do the same) in some form manifest with respect to the rest of existence, whatever convictions their individual cognitive abilities have synthesized or brought them to. Quid pro quo, all would be afforded the equal right to expression. without agreeing to these fundamental rights (actually defining them as such), even you, Aussie, would be forced to follow the mire of public opinion, or controlling opinion at least.
      to everybody,
fight fire with water. fight hatred with love. fight shortsightedness with understanding. fight the oppression with an openness that cannot be contained, an exploration in itself. remember that the mind sets you free. the pineal gland is the door of understanding, to which introspective meditation is the key. we all have the answers. if we’d all just shut up, we could hear them.
**no Aussies were hurt during the making of this blog.

Re-read your “blog” and see if you come up with the same conclusion as me…take particular note of: #I believe Aussie has every right to an opinion, and the expression thereof.#…then take particular note of: #for starters, where’s the intelligence in a statement rife with hate speech and flippant obscenity that aims to condemn or validate condemnation of the hate speech and flippant obscenity others might express#

Those drugs will do it to you every time Dr Dreamin’…particularly them “Shrooms”…and i reckon there the ones you’ve been tripping out on!!!

A word of advice Dr Dreamin…when putting your thoughts down in “blog” form…lay off the “Shrooms”

Keep on Keeping on Dr Dreamin!

I actually think David Duke would be a more holy choice than O’bama and McCain, At least that Honkey David Duke is Honest about his views and he is not Evil New Order that’s rascist towards everybody. that’s what I told the Class here at Infowars, my fellow classmates, Fuck The NWO destruction of America. A vote for Mcain and Obama is vote for the Everything against God, George Bush is a more Holy Choice.

Vote for Jesus Christ, Adam Sandler, Willy Nelson, Bill Cosby, Paul Pierce, Chuck Baldwin, Ralph Nader, David Duke, Ron Paul, David Icke, Michael Savage, George Noory, George Strait, Alex Jones and Document it and the next AJ movie could be a bout the Global Warming scam, that’s the next phase of the economic pumping, That’s that hardest thing to convince liberals about is the Global Change Hoax, The Japs and Detroit have technology where you can have a big ass truck and use a little gas and pollute none, those sons of bitches are playin possum, the Krauts made a new bug, Detroit should come out with a new 50s chevy

Daxx (that name is almost as weird as the Palin’s kids’ names… Jadzia Daxx? from Deep Space 9?)
Daxx and his father must have understood what could happen.
And probably decided he would choose suspension beforehand.
Ah-ha. They are learning their tricks from the GOP.

I bet his dad and mom DO NOT get to vote in this coming election.
They are probably already on a “list” somewhere.

On the other hand, I like how the kid knew exactly what he was putting himself into.

    67. CounterStrike Says:

I could have sworn that years and years ago, it was ruled that some “rights” stop at the school doors.

With that said, I find this to be sheer manipulation of a child who knows no better, but what are you to expect when you have a parent who is apparently manipulated by the news stations and radio.

The only thing I do like about this is the shadow of protest involved in it, by a manipulated child…

    69. Dr. D, see i can do that too! Says:

Do shrooms and blog! then go take bong rips for Jesus. When all is said and done and you’re high as a the kite string stretches, wear a shirt that says something.
by the way, drugs are good, m’kay. you should do drugs, cause drugs are good, m’kay. just remember that your body is fragile, so really scrutinize about what you put in it and at what levels. my advise, just say no to prescription and synthetic drugs. they’re bad. these potatoes are nasty and bad.
by on of the other ways, i wore a tie-died t-shirt throughout most of my middle school career that depicted a frog wearing a Jamaican beenie, surrounded by smoke, and holding a hookah hose to it’s mouth in front of the capital building. it was very clear, but the teachers wouldn’t dare tell me to take it off. why? because they believed in freedom of expression back in my day. we were people helpng people grow. sure there were plenty of robots functioning only because they were programmed to. but every one of the faculty respected the students’ rights to expression, assembly, petition for redress of grievances…
what has happened? we truly must not be living in america anymore. somehow, we allowed oppression to weasel its way into our government, and we proceeded to institutionalize it.

    70. And Now The Apocalypse! of www.wolfbritain.com (click here) Says:

What an idiot “conservative” father! So is McCain the terrorists’ best friend! ALL of the globalists ARE the terrorists! “Conservative”, my behind! This “father” intentionally sent his son as an asset-making machine to entrap the school into doing what he knew darn well they would do, or was very much hoping they would do, so that he can sue them and hopefully walk away with millions in punitive damages, or at least tens or hundreds of thousands. But I don’t think it’s going to work. The ACLU might take it on for principle and precedent-setting value, but such will not profit the “father”.

    71. Neal Says:

a shirt that reads “al-CIA-duh” is not offending enough to suspend someone from school.

    72. Oblivitarian Says:

Wow, so were at it once again. Getting away from the true crimes against humanity. Its not bad enough that now an 11 year old has to take on the federal government but were going to question what people put into their body and write on the internet. Ok I have to take a step back here a second and analyze this. Show your patriotism day. Kid shows up wearing something that according to faculty is not deemed appropriate to a learning environment. Ok im clear on this much. The by some leap of the human condition, kids father gets involved, bearing in mind his past as a “rebel” and now we have the perfect news story circulated by none other than my fox of colorado. Wow.

Im sad i even opened this.

Crimes against humanity, crimes which involve the most heinous disregard for personal morality time and again occur. Why because no one stops them. Them being the federal state county and municipalitarins who sneak and contort hidden agendas upon all of us. But its ok theres over 6 billion people who wont open there eyes this time around. Cycles be damned. Ill see you guys around next time.

      Heals your way. Guides Mine.

    73. CKS Says:

Aussie really sux with his theory of a fathers brain washing. No doubt his father brainwashed him into thinking the way he does. I really doubt I would like Aussie’s father.

    74. TOM Says:

what the hell is our school system coming to. if we can wear funny t-shirts to school. i say we take the money the school gets and give it yo the american public.

    75. Sandra in Nebraska Says:

So the father uses his kid to make a political statement and piss off the other kids whose parents support Obama…. or who are liberal democrats or just other people who don’t believe that shit. I wouldn’t let my kid go over to that kid’s house even if he was a nice kid because I’d be afraid the Dad would try to infringe on their play time to indoctrinate him.

So whatever happened with the HS student who wore that shirt to school that said “Bong hits for Jesus”? At least in that case it sounded like something a teenager might think up on his own.
