This is indeed a very sad story and what is worse, this man is not alone. First responders, military vets, the American people in general. Our government doesn’t care about anyone or anything other than the power and wealth that they can steal from We, the People.
And although I do feel for this and any other person that are suffering from the illnesses and maladies associated with being at “ground zero” in the aftermath of the demolition of the WTC bldgs., I must state that they should have used a bit more common sense when they were told that the air they were breathing was safe and no different than a construction site. I rmember the videos from that day, days and weeks afterwards. You could not pay me enough money to go into that crap. I have actually been fired from jobs because I refusedto put my health on the line for those I was working for. I do not mean to sound so critical but we were given a brain and possess, at least, a measure of intelligence. Why would anyone at the scene believe that the air was safe to breath when I and many others could tell from the TV that it was nothing but poison. I even told my wife in the days following 9/11 that there would be some serious health issues arise from that dust cloud. In short, the government really screwed the nation over more than they had at any point prior to 9/11. Not only did a few thousand die in the attacks, now, several more are feeling the effects. I guess shrub would consider that collateral damage.
I do, never-the-less support this man and all of those who risked their lives to help. I agree, the governemnt owes each and every first reponder as well as every other person that was in the vicinity during that dark time.

Since I have experiance with occupational injury, and especially since when unable to secure income for myself due to injury; I learned about the Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB), which should be renamed, the CEO’s and (former prep school or private school) (now) CEO’s extravaganza funds!
The CEO’s (Chief Execytive Officers) especially of WCBs, pay themselves in the hundreds of thousand of dollars each year, brand new Lexus luxury sedans, meals perks and paid vacations, of course!
A very ignorant man, our former Premier (like Governor) of Alberta, used to always say (especially since his government had gotten us terribly into debt) “Follow the money!”
And you know that is just what the Board Managers do. They follow the money which wage payers, from every payroll every payday must contribute to WCBs.
There are literally hundreds of billions of dollars in investments(the so-called future liability moneys) which they play with. However an Injured Worker is no more than a bum to them. When a man, having worked by the sweat of his brow, and the skills learned and sciences applied into building homes, working oilfields, operating heavy equipment, making technical repairs on automobiles, and literally using one’s physical frame to execute precision and exhaustive labours: The Board, having the know it all mentality, and disconcerned about severity of injuries or inability to communicate reasonably with a (now useless)(formerly very productive doer) Claimant; Generally members of the WCBs, here in Canada(and as well they are members of the “Association of Worker’s Compensation Boards of North America” and they generally enjoy to live it up, lavishly enjoying their perks and travel options, bonuses and freebies. While the original intention for having worker’s injury payment was the dissolution of a right to ply the Courts for compensation for each injured worker. So we the people, lose our rights(again) so the live it up gang can celebrate more graft and benefit money that was meant for the injured and their widows and orphans.
They use Psycho Politics, and mostly underhanded means to deny or delay or dissuade such that the Injured Party, gives up and finds another line of work. The comment “Get a job you lazy bum” was used on me, and when I addressed the remark to the WCB Member on telephone, the reply was, “Ohhh, I didn’t mean it that way.” And then hanging up the reciever, pretending to be cut off.
When I provided complaint to a supervisor, this too was denied until I mailed a tape recording of the call. I asked that my tape be returned, and by the way no formel letter of apology was ever provided(much worse was acted out against me and my claim) but none so harmful as when they purposefully betrayed my privacy, compromising a (so called) “private Psychologist” into betraying me falsely labelling me irregardless that testing (supposed to be private replacement for employment testing) had not indicated any mental concerns. However because I seemed to write a lot of complaints, my sanity was questioned, I was labelled, without objective reasoning.
Two-years later I discovered why they were keeping my file from my perview: The Psychologist and the WCB Officer, had sold me down the river, South; since I had been a very active protestor, organizing other Injured parties. They caused my loss of my child for some three-years, denied me any further benefits, or any pension; and after living on Welfare, raising my one child alone, in social housing, at $620.00 per month for five years, from my child’s kindergarten to grade three, when she was taken because of WCB false file information designed to subvert justice: Until I was finally provided a token 5% pension!
I live today far from the cities, far from beaurocratic oversight, I have learned the hard way that there is little or no justice, and my Court case is still to be fought…

When the matter of whether or not asbestos is bad for the lungs was being protested by asbestos miners, in Quebec, Canada, in the nineteen-sixties, two young lawyers waded into the crowd of worker protestors, promising to remedy what they could. They were there for one reason: The lung-cancer suffering former miners, and (then) present miners, arguing that “asbestos kills” never really had their day in Court. Ahhh but those two young lawyers, made their mark, becoming quickly very famous; used their newfound fame to get elected into the federal government. The asbestos “issue” would take a back seat after that.

I would be very appreciative if infowars could help me find legal representation, here in Alberta. Someone that is not afraid to take on the Alberta Government. Lawyers here will not listen to my particulars, which when learned, unarguably prove malice negligence betrayal and certainly liabilities for secondary sufferings, also because of subjective and innapropriate (wrong) labelling; The issues stand out like the sun on a clear day.

By the way, our former Premier Minister of Alberta, Canada, legalized gambling here to pay off the debt. Also they placed the bulk of the debt payout burden on the poor and needy. The new Premier(we’ve had the same party here in Alberta for thirty-seven-years!!!) just issued himself a big fat new raise. But my fellow Albertan voters are too loaded up on Fluoride and TV news, and haven’t the sense of an imbecile!

Our fighting in the late eighties and early nineties did result in soime good news. The Province finally directed the WCB to accept all fireman’s cancer claims.
But we lost mostly as they went after the pensions, replacing with wage loss plan, whereby as example they said”A truck driver loses his toes, at work. He still is able to drive truck. So he gets no pension for his loss of his toes.” Always a cheat and claiming it’s good for us!…

Seal, you problems with workers comp is not isolated to Alberta. I live near Houston Texas and I had my run in with the Workers Comp crooks myself. Although I did receive benefits( for the mandatory 2 years) I had to see their doctors and phsychiatrist and they used fruadulent statements against me when my day in court finally came( after 4 yrs). Not to mention that my attorney sold me down the river during the trial. I could go into all the nasty details but the fact that it had to go to court and I had to hire a lawyer should say it all. The court systems are all fouled up as well as the governments of our nations.
I am currently disabled due to a different injury that was sustained at home while moving furniture. The small comapny I was working for did not offer health insurance and I did not make enough to cover the high premiums of a policy for me and my family so I had to go through the medicaid system to receive treatment. I was misdiagnosed and was given pain killers, anti inflammatories, muscle relaxers, and anti depressants as a treatment. After 6 months they sent me to pain management and I received one ofthose steroidal shots that they are pushing these days. This did not help so they sent me to physical therapy for 6 weeks. Duringthis time, my therapist noticed that I may have some neurological damage to my lower back and hips. I am now trying to get an appointment to see an orthopedic dr( which I should have been referred to 9 months ago). I am also trying to obtain SSI( supplemental social security) benefits and have to see one of THEIR docs on Monday. I am in constant pain and can barely walk and our financial situation is rather bleak.(rent is due on Monday too, not to mention all of our utilities are past due). So I feel for you.
Having said this, if anyone ever mentions that gov’t managed health care is a great idea I will argue with them. Like I said earlier, the gov’t DOES NOT CARE about us!

If you’re a fireman, a cop, a soldier, nurse; any kind of front line worker, you are doing it because you believe in it to the point that you’re willing to sacrifice yourself for your job.
It comes as a cruel shock that when you go down, your organization dumps you at the curb like a sack of garbage. The sad fact is that when you’re used up, you’re no good to your cause anymore, so there’s no point from the organization’s point of view of wasting money on you.
The only way to get through it is to lick your wounds, pick yourself up, and get the help you need to recover if you can. Don’t look back; it’s only wasted energy.
This guy should do an extreme detox. As for the asbestos, I don’t know of anything that can help with that. If you’ve seen Giuliani, he has the same health problems as the fireman. He also believed the air was clean. Being high up on the food chain is no guarantee that you won’t be sacrificed. If you’re front line, you’re vulnerable–know that going in.

jj, with all due respect, according to your post #12, we should show no sympathy for these people? Of course, they knew that they might have to sacrificethemselves in the service of others. Cops know that they might get shot anytime they investigate a crime or pull someone over on the road. Fire fighters know this when they go fight a fire. Soldiers know this when they volunteer for the military. This is not the issue. Those people are aware of the normal dangers of their professions but the events of 9/11 were not normal circumstances by any stretch of the imagination. The dust cloud that covered NYC and surrounding areas was full of all kinds of toxic crap including asbestos and other toxic particles. They were TOLD that the air was safe to breath. They were lied too. As were the military personel in Iraq and I am sure that they were not told of the depleted uranium and other crap that they are subjected to during their extended tours of duty. The War Pigs are treating the people like pawns in chess(to qoute Ozzy) and most are unaware of it. Is it the fault of the troops and civil servants that they are being poisoned for their supposed duty to our nation?
Personally, I have little love for our military troops or cops but I do have a certain respect for the them and the sacrifices that they make.
The point of this is that they were decieved and sacrificed to further the goals of greedy, power hungry wolves. I seems to me that you are blaming the lamb for being devoured by the wolf.
Lambs and sheep are not aggressive by nature and are a natural food source for the wolves. It is up to the shepards to protect the flock and when neccessary, to kill the wolves that attack the herd. Of course this analogy has a flaw since the shepard only protects the flock so that the sheep can be slaughtered or deflocked at a later date.
I would like to use a lesson(proverb) from Scripture with out offending the non-religious folk.
According to the Bible, Adam and Eve first sinned when they ate of the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Their eyes were opened and they saw that they were naked. I take this to mean that all of their flaws were laid bare. When confronted by God, they tried to pass blame away from themselves. The woman gave me to eat(Adam)…the Serpant beguiled me(Eve)….rather than owning up to their disobedience. Later in this book, when Cain killed Able, God asked Cain where Able was and Cain lied and asked, am I my brother’s keeper? Again, not owning up to the wrong that was committed.
What I gather from these examples is that even though we err by human nature because we are not perfect beings, the gravest sin is the dishonesty that we use to try and avoid the consequences of our actions. Now whether or not you are religious, the lesson here is that lying and deceit is wrong.
There were many fine, upstanding heroes that have died as a result of 9/11, not to mention throughout our history, but the lies that caused their sacrifices and furthered to cover it up is the greatest tragedy of all.
IMHO, the best way to honor their sacrifice is to shed light on the darkness of deceit that led to their deaths. I could not live with myself if I just ignored or glossed over the fact that there is a ton of lies being told concerning our current world situation and it is the duty of each and every one of us to honor them by bringing the truth out into the open and exposing those lying traitourous bastards for what they truly are. Only then will those brave souls be able to rest in peace.

There is no possible way the air quality was safe for months following 911 especially on the site of the twin towers. Typically we rush in and fix the problem (which is one of our best qualities), but in this case it truly was not safe. We should have waited. Hell, we probably should have evacuated NYC or at least provided proper haz-mat gear for the workers. These poor brave people are paying the price. They should receive 100% reimbursement for their expenses and health care coverage for specific symptoms related to the clean-up. This is a sad situation. Of all the things we spend money on, you would think this problem would be near the top of the list (followed closely by spending on military health issues that are being covered up as well).

Some of them are the new royalty (McCain, Clinton, Obama, Kennedy, etc.) I agree with Alex, they could devour babies in public and the idiot masses would “ooh” and “aah” in admiration and fear.
It’s too late for peaceful action. There’s nowhere near enough people awake for any non-violent solution. But there are plenty enough for a forceful resolution. When will it happen? Give it a couple more years. It’ll have to wait until the FED/NWO/DHS/ETC. starts rounding people up en masse. People will have to go hungry for 6 or 12 months, or 24 months, before they become willing to die fighting. Maybe the NWO pigs will continue to feed us. It’s the only way to avoid an uprising of the worms. For that is what “We the People” have become. Gutless worms.

As a certified industrial hygienist and a worker in the occupational health field, I was appalled THE VERY DAY that the air was declared “safe to breathe”.
It was a criminal act, was blatant, and the frauds who made the proclamation are war criminals.
They didn’t just “allow” the people to remain in an area that should have required moonsuits for response, but people were ENCOURAGED to remove their protective masks (i.e. “you don’t need that!”).
Silicosis, asbestosis, mesothelioma, radioactive materials from smoke detectors, etcetera etcetera etcetera. Yet instantaneously “SAFE TO BREATHE” as dictated by the head of the EPA who showed herself as a political shill rather than a compassionate scientist.
Unconscionable.

For they spend a little piece of their with think tanks and conferences on how to enslave us and how to eliminate us as fast as they can now that they have robbed us with these much higher gasoline prices!!
