
<p><strong>Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday released a utopian plan for a rebuilt Gaza called “Gaza 2035.”</strong></p>



<p>The Prime Minister’s Office published a 9-page <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://ynet-pic1.yit.co.il/picserver5/wcm_upload_files/2024/05/03/r1xP7iKGf0/Gaza_Businessmen_Initiative_heb___Copy__1_.pdf" target="_blank">PowerPoint file</a> describing a future where Gaza is de-radicalized from Islamism, transformed into a trade hub of prosperity and innovation and integrated into the Middle East&#8217;s economy.</p><div class="Th5c922r"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>The &#8220;Gaza 2035&#8221; plan seeks to leverage Gaza’s geopolitical role in trade routes between Cairo and Baghdad, and Europe and Yemen.</p>

<p>The documents lay out three steps to return Gaza to self-governance and economic growth.</p>

<p>Second, a 5-10 year reconstruction process supervised by a coalition of Arab states (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Bahrain, Jordan, and Morocco).</p>



<p>&#8220;The plan is to move Israeli security responsibility to Israel, while the Arab Coalition will create a multilateral body called the Gaza Rehabilitation Authority (GRA) to oversee the reconstruction efforts and manage the Strip&#8217;s finances,&#8221; the Jerusalem Post <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-799756#google_vignette" target="_blank">reported</a>.</p>

<p>&#8220;The GRA is to be run by Gazan Palestinians and will take responsibility for managing the safe areas. This will be done in coordination with the implementation of a &#8216;Marshall Plan&#8217; and a deradicalization program.&#8221;</p><div class="HWOzWKow"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>The third stage, termed &#8220;Self-governance&#8221;, would see Israel retain the right to act against &#8220;security threats.&#8221;</p>



<p>&#8220;Power would slowly be transferred to either a local Gaza government or a unified Palestinian government (including the West Bank). However, this is contingent on the successful deradicalization and demilitarization of the Gaza Strip and will be subject to agreement by all parties,&#8221; the JPost reported.</p>

<p>At that point, the Palestinians would fully manage Gaza independently and join the Abraham Accords, although the plan does not explicitly call for the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state.</p>



<p>The utopian plan comes amid widespread demonstrations against Israel from pro-Palestinian protesters on college campuses who argue the Jewish state is <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/you-support-genocide-clemson-university-students-hold-protest-against-stance-on-israel/ar-BB1lPT1W" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">committing genocide</a> against the Palestinian people.</p>



<p>Democrats have also <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-nz/news/other/dozens-of-democrats-call-on-biden-to-reconsider-israel-support-accusing-it-of-blocking-of-humanitarian-aid-to-gaza/ar-AA1o97Qq" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">called for Biden to take a firmer stance against Israel</a> over its heavy-handed tactics against Hamas in the Gaza Strip in the form of indiscriminate bombing of buildings and humanitarian sites.</p>



<p>It remains to be seen if the Palestinians will accept such a plan given they&#8217;ve rejected numerous proposals by Israel in the past, including a so-called &#8220;two-state solution.&#8221;</p>

Netanyahu Unveils Utopian Plan for ‘Gaza 2035’


<p><strong>Donald Trump has accused US President Joe Biden’s administration of stooping to the level of the Nazi secret police to prevent him from winning this year’s election.</strong></p>



<p><em>“These people are running a Gestapo administration,”</em>&nbsp;the former US leader told Republican donors at an event in Florida on Saturday, according to audio shared with multiple national news outlets.&nbsp;<em>“And it’s the only thing they have. And it’s the only way they’re going to win, in their opinion.”</em></p><div class="8qkZOsNI"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>Trump is currently facing four criminal cases, including an ongoing trial in New York over his alleged misreporting of ‘hush money’ payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. In addition to the New York case, the former president and presumptive Republican nominee to challenge Biden this November faces two federal cases concerning his alleged incitement of the January 6, 2021, riot on Capitol Hill, and his alleged mishandling of classified documents. He also faces state-level racketeering charges in Georgia over his supposed efforts to challenge Biden’s electoral victory in the state in 2020.</p>



<p>Trump has painted all four cases as part of the same Democrat-orchestrated plot to take him out of the race for the White House. For almost three weeks, the trial in New York has effectively halted Trump’s campaign, forcing the embattled Republican to mostly forgo his usual rallies for shorter speeches on the courthouse steps.</p>



<p><em>“But it doesn’t bother me,”</em>&nbsp;Trump continued.&nbsp;<em>“If you care too much, you tend to choke. And in a way, I don’t care. <p>Trump did, however, launch into a tirade against government prosecutor Jack Smith, who is overseeing the two federal cases against him. Smith, Trump said, is&nbsp;<em>“unattractive both inside and out,”</em>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<em>“deranged,”</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>“an evil thug.”</em></p>



<p>Saturday was not the first time Trump has compared Biden to the tyrants of the 20th Century. In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Texas earlier this year, he decried the&nbsp;<em>“Stalinist show trials being carried out at Joe Biden’s orders,”</em>&nbsp;and in a campaign ad last year, described Biden as a&nbsp;<em>“corrupt Third-World dictator.”</em></p>



<p>On the other hand, Trump has said that he would be <em>“a dictator”</em> for a day if elected, and would use executive orders to restart American fossil-fuel extraction, and deport millions of illegal immigrants.</p><div class="tHfpUX2o"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>Saturday’s event was attended by a host of Trump’s potential running mates, including South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, New York Representative Elise Stefanik, Ohio Senator JD Vance, and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. According to the New York Times, Trump’s speech was followed by a briefing in which his top campaign aides presented the states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Virginia as key battlegrounds in November’s election.</p>



<p>They noted that despite his campaign spending less than Biden’s, Trump is currently leading the Democrat in most opinion polls. A CNN survey published last week showed him leading Biden by a 49%-43% margin, with six in ten respondents disapproving of Biden’s performance as president.</p>

NY Schools to Hold Special Graduation for LGBTQ Students


<p><strong>A trio of suspects are facing a slew of felony charges after they allegedly pistol-whipped a baby and forced the father to turn over valuables with a gun pointed at his child&#8217;s head this week in Berkeley, California.</strong></p>



<p>The crime spree unfolded on Wednesday afternoon in the ultra-leftist Bay Area enclave.</p><div class="JZgJ7WpI"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>The armed suspects were traveling in a stolen Toyota sedan when they first committed an auto burglary at around 1:30 p.m., according to Berkeley police.</p>



<p>Around 15 minutes later, they ambushed a man holding a baby near the UC Berkeley campus.</p>

<p>The father surrendered a gold chain, cell phone, and his gold teeth before the suspects fled the scene.</p>



<p>Berkeley police pursued the trio, who eventually crashed the stolen Toyota in North Oakland and were arrested shortly after.</p><div class="1EazpxwN"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>Officers reportedly found a pistol with a extended magazine inside the vehicle, along with the victim&#8217;s cell phone and necklace, but could not locate the gold teeth.</p>



<p>The suspects were identified as Delaughn Hartzfield, 23, Dante Richmond, 27, and Stacy Tidwell, 23.</p>



<p>&#8220;On Thursday, the DA&#8217;s office charged all three men with robbery, two counts of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, child abuse, criminal threats, auto burglary, two counts of evading police, carrying a concealed firearm, vehicle theft, and receiving stolen property,&#8221; the Scanner reports, citing court documents.</p>

<p>Biden last week condemned the protests backed by his own donors that at times have become violent.</p>

<p>Politico explained that Democrat politics are sometimes at odds with leftist causes, and the Israel-Gaza conflict is the latest example.</p>



<p>&#8220;The trail of donations shows a series of blurred lines when it comes to liberal causes and Democratic politics,&#8221; the outlet reported. &#8220;Often those missions are aligned, but they also sometimes have different and — particularly when it comes to Gaza — conflicting agendas and tactics. And a small group of wealthy heavyweights are often playing an outsize role funding many of them.&#8221;</p>



<p>&#8220;Some advisers to left-leaning causes say that’s just part of the way things work when it comes to philanthropic giving,&#8221; Politico added.</p>



<p>The report must embarrass pundits like Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto, who <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/watch-fox-anchor-cavuto-denies-soros-funding-pro-palestinian-campus-protests/" target="_blank">argued on Friday that Soros had nothing to do with the campus protests</a>.</p>

<p>The suspect, identified as Juan David Guzman, was seen dropping off illegal aliens in a red pickup truck near a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint on US-281.</p>

<p>As he was approaching a major intersection, he attempted to pass a tractor-trailer, but lost control and slammed into the rear of a small SUV stopped at the light.</p>



<p>The collision sent the SUV crashing into a minivan as the badly damaged pickup rolled aimlessly across multiple lanes of traffic.</p>

Biden Campaign Says They Will SHORTEN His Speeches

<p>In the Victorian era, British and Russian spies engaged in a thrilling secret war in the blasted, desolate terrain that separated the Russian empire’s underbelly from the northern outposts of the Raj. Rudyard Kipling dubbed this secret war the “Great Game.” The British were terrified the Russians would attempt an invasion of India by land, and they were right. The Russians did want to invade. The jewels of British India sparkled far too bright.</p>



<p>The problem for both parties was that they didn’t really know what lay between the two frontiers, apart from hostile tribes, decadent khans and emirs and some very nasty deserts and mountain ranges. And so, for the better part of a century, Britain and Russia sent some of their most daring, talented men out into the wilderness to scout, forge alliances and sew discord and misinformation among their enemies and their enemies’ ever-shifting allies.</p>



<p>The stakes, as I say, were of the highest order. Peter Hopkirk’s fantastic book <em>The Great Game</em> opens with a miserable anecdote about two British spies who were captured by the pampered emir of Bokhara, in modern-day Uzbekistan. <p>The two men had been sent by the British East India Company to offer an overture to the emir, in the hope of securing a treaty against the Russians, but instead negotiations soured. And that was the difference between life and death.</p>



<p>Things aren’t the same today. Just look at what’s happening between America and its chief geopolitical adversary China right now.</p>



<p>Instead of donning some elaborate disguise to get into the US, a would-be Chinese spy need only rock up at the southern border in his tracksuit and walk across. He scarcely has to look up from his phone. He may get picked up by Border Patrol, but—small inconvenience—he’ll soon be released into the country, where he can travel anywhere he pleases.</p><div class="RIGYYu2r"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>Great Game, I think not.</p>



<p>That’s what tens of thousands of Chinese nationals are now doing every year, entering the US illegally across the southern border. Figures for the first six months of the year <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/illegal-chinese-border-crossings-up-14000-since-2021-if-current-rates-continue/">show</a> that nearly 25,000 Chinese nationals were apprehended crossing the border illegally. If rates continue for the rest of the year, that will be a 14,000% increase on figures from 2021, when just 342 Chinese nationals were apprehended by Border Patrol.</p>



<p>Remember: these are just the ones who are <em>apprehended</em>. The real figures are likely to be much higher.</p>



<p>Many of these people must be spies. The Chinese would be stupid not to be sending spies. And the Chinese aren’t stupid.</p>



<p>After all, the Chinese regime does everything else it can to sabotage America’s capabilities, from cyber warfare and stealing patents to social-media apps like TikTok that are literally turning America’s youth into drooling idiots with attention spans that would shame a fairground goldfish. Oh yeah, and biological warfare on a global scale. Don’t forget that!</p>



<p>What serious country would allow this to happen? Would allow tens of thousands of its chief rival’s citizens to enter its territory and then disappear to do God knows what, God knows where?</p>



<p>Is the US a serious country any more?</p>



<p>I’m not so sure.</p>



<p>More and more, with each passing day, I find myself reaching for a simple rule of thumb: “The purpose of a system is what it does.” The border is wide open to flood America with migrants. That’s the aim. And if that helps China send hundreds or thousands of secret operatives into the country, well—maybe that’s the purpose too.</p>



<p>Never forget the degree to which America’s corrupt elites have acquiesced in the nation’s decline, in the destruction of its native industries and their reconstruction abroad, principally in China.</p>



<p>This was the central premise of Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and explains why America’s elites reacted so aggressively to his “America First” platform: because their fortunes are not pegged to America’s. America First means elites last.</p>



<p>If you want an example, look at the deliberate sabotage of America’s rare-earth-metals industry. Rare-earth metals, you may know, are vital for high-tech electronics. China now has a virtual monopoly on the production and trade in these substances, but this is a recent development. So do a little digging on why the massive open-pit mine at Mountain Pass, California was closed, when it could have been mined for another 30 years. Look at who helped pass the Desert Protection Act that forced it to close and look at her husband’s interests in Chinese business. Consider also how the senator in question had a Chinese mole in her staff for 20 years, until they were unmasked in 2018.</p>



<p>This is just one example among countless others.</p>



<p>As the nation declines, and ordinary people see the American Dream evaporate before their eyes, all the elites see is the chance for greater enrichment—rising stocks, broadening portfolios, a happy ending as the sun sets on America.</p>



<p>So when we look at these immigration figures, let them remind us that the work of 2016, the true work, still remains to be done. Globalism is still the enemy, at home and abroad.</p>

<blockquote class="wp-block-quote"><p>As of this week, failing to respect a queer person’s non-binary pronouns is the newest form of workplace discrimination recognised under the landmark 1964 Civil Rights Act in the United States.</p><div class="Li5Fe0hF"><div id="fullAd"></div></div><p>The new <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/guidance/enforcement-guidance-harassment-workplace" target="_blank">pronoun mandate</a> for workers, employers and even customers was issued by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as part of the civil rights agency’s first move in a quarter-century to bring its workplace guidelines up to date with legal precedent and evolving social norms.</p><p>The <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/guidance/enforcement-guidance-harassment-workplace" target="_blank">189-page document</a>, which is technically legally non-binding but spells out the agency’s policies on investigating discrimination complaints, says that misgendering must be repeated and intentional, not a slip of the tongue, to rise to the level of workplace harassment. The agency said banning misgendering and bathroom restrictions for trans people “logically extends” from the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2020 Bostock ruling that added sexual and gender identity as a protected category under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.</p></blockquote>

<p>Depressing stuff. Hard to understand how in a supposedly federal system like America, the central Government can stipulate that every workplace in the country – and customers as well – must conform to confused people’s gender fantasies. But there you have it.</p>



<p>Personally, I blame <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.firstthings.com/web-exclusives/2020/07/the-metaphysics-of-bostock" target="_blank">Neil Gorsuch</a>, the supposedly conservative originalist Justice who joined with the liberals in Bostock (he actually wrote the majority opinion) in arguing that constitutional protections for sex applied equally to gender identity. </p>



<p>His facile logic? That it is impossible for an employer to make an adverse employment decision based on “transgender status” without thereby discriminating “because of sex”, since a man who suffers adverse treatment because he “identifies” as a woman is treated differently than he would be if he were a woman who “identifies” as a woman. </p>



<p>Er, yes, Neil. But the point is he <em>isn’t a woman</em>. This point of mere biological fact was lost on such a lofty legal mind, unfortunately – and now a country of 350 million is living with the idiotic and tyrannical consequences.</p>

U.S. Government Mandates Preferred Pronouns in All Workplaces


<p><strong>France <a href="https://asiatimes.com/2024/05/france-sends-combat-troops-to-ukraine-battlefront/">has officially deployed</a> 100 soldiers of the Foreign Legion to the frontlines in Ukraine, where they will offer support to the Ukrainian 54<sup>th</sup> Independent Mechanized Brigade.</strong></p>

<p>The official US position is still that it opposes sending troops to Ukraine, other than in an advisory role.</p>

France Sends Troops to Ukraine Frontlines


<p><strong>A number of carmakers have confirmed that they are sharing location data from their cars with the US government, solely on the basis of subpoenas. This means that a judge does not have to provide approval for the data to be shared.</strong></p>



<p>Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Volkswagen, BMW, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz and Kia are sharing location data with authorities, without a warrant, <em>The Leading Report</em> <a href="https://theleadingreport.com/automakers-confirm-warrantless-location-data-sharing-with-us-agencies/">revealed</a> on Friday.</p><div class="UQb1tL1h"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>Democrat Senators Ron Wyden and Edward Markey sent a letter to the Federal Trade Commission at the end of April asking that the body investigate the practice in greater detail, in order to ensure that Americans are offered consistent legal protections with regard to their personal data.</p>



<p>“Since 2014, the industry pledged to require a warrant or court order before turning over vehicle location data to law enforcement agencies, except in emergencies or with customer consent,” the letter reads.</p>



<p>“But recent investigations by our offices confirmed that only some of the car companies are honoring this commitment. <p>“Congress has failed to act to protect Americans’ privacy, and the Supreme Court has yet to issue clear guidance on whether the Fourth Amendment applies to all government surveillance of Americans’ location data. While the Supreme Court’s 2018 Carpenter decision confirmed that the Fourth Amendment applies to some location data, the Court declined to issue a clear, across-the-board warrant requirement, for example, when the government seeks data for a one-week period or less.”</p>



<p>The senators note that only some car companies, such as Tesla, will tell customers if they have received a request for vehicle location data, and even then Tesla will still comply with judicial gag orders preventing the disclosure of such information.</p><div class="9dNTFsTo"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>The letter urges the FTC to “consider holding these companies’ senior executives accountable for their actions.”</p>

Carmakers Sharing Location Data with US Government without Warrants


<p><strong><a href="https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2024.04.19.24306090v1">A new study</a> suggests that Pfizer’s respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine, known as Abrysvo, may be linked to premature birth in pregnant women.</strong></p>

<p>Pfizer’s RSV vaccine was approved for pregnant women in August 2023. A month later, the CDC recommended that it should be administered to pregnant women in weeks 32-26 of their pregnancies to protect babies from RSV after birth.</p>



<p>For the new study, Canadian researchers used the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database to assess adverse events following vaccination with the RSV vaccine during the period 1 September 2023 to 23 February 2024.</p>



<p>Of a total of 77 reports included in the database, over half of which were classified as serious, premature birth was the most frequent adverse event associated with pregnancy. <p>Dr. David Healy, a drug safety expert and author of the book <em>Pharmageddon</em>, told <a href="https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/pfizer-rsv-vaccine-pregnant-women-preterm-birth/">The Defender </a>that every RSV vaccine developed in the last 60 years has had serious side-effects.</p>



<p>“It looks like our latest efforts to overcome these problems have not helped and are leading to preterm births which have lifelong knock-on effects along with&nbsp;more serious RSV infections in children&nbsp;where these should be harmless.”</p>



<p>“Sixty years ago we&nbsp;recognized the problems&nbsp;and stopped. But now we seem determined to press ahead regardless,” he added.</p><div class="7zmK7jbQ"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>&nbsp;“The intense push to get these vaccines means we will all have affected family members—this is not an abstract concern,” he added.</p>

New Pfizer RSV Vaccine Linked To Premature Births in Pregnant Women


<p><strong>Pharma companies including Bayer and Revlon Healthcare knowingly sold blood products contaminated with HIV and Hepatitis C to the British National Health Service, according to a <em><a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/05/04/pharmaceutical-giants-sold-hiv-infected-treatment/">Daily Telegraph investigation</a></em>. The revelations come as part of a national inquiry into thousands of cases of hemophiliacs who contracted HIV and hepatitis C from infected blood products in the 1970 and 1980s.</strong></p>



<p>Internal documents from Bayer and Revlon Healthcare’s Armour Pharmaceuticals obtained by the <em>Telegraph</em> show that the companies knew in the early 1980s their Factor VIII products were contaminated—but still sold them anyway.</p><div class="pGyVybO1"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>In the case of Bayer, an internal marketing plan in 1985 suggested dumping their HIV-tainted products in Asia, because “AIDS has not become a major issue in Asia.” The company outlined how it would sell the products in countries like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Argentina.</p>



<p>Bayer believed sales of $400,000 were at risk.</p>



<p>Similarly, when Armour discovered HIV in their heat-treated factor VIII product, which was supposed to be sterile, they referred to the discovery simply as a “marketing problem.”</p><div class="Exhjz8Sx"><ul className="ifwTextAd"><li><a href="https://www.givesendgo.com/savealex"><p>URGENT! <p>“The issue is not one of regulation, but rather of marketing,” said Dr Mike Rodell, vice president of regulatory and technical affairs at Revlon Healthcare. He believed the company could lose $6 million in sales.</p>



<p>Armour and Dr Rodell subsequently hid these findings from the US FDA.</p>



<p>Even when confronted with direct evidence that Armour’s factor VIII was transmitting HIV to patients, the company denied it had ever discovered HIV in its product. The company then delayed reporting its findings to the British Department of Health. The company’s delay meant that more people, including children, were infected with HIV before the product was withdrawn from the British market.</p><div class="2lhUyGvt"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>More than 1,250 people contracted HIV in the UK from contaminated factor VIII products, and around 5,000 more contracted hepatitis C.</p>



<p>The Infected Blood Inquiry will report its findings on 20 May, and is expected to be extremely critical of factor VIII manufacturers. Nobody has ever been prosecuted in the UK for their role in the manufacture or sale of contaminated blood products.</p>



<p>A former managing director of Armour told the Inquiry that the decision to withhold news about contamination of factor VIII products was in order to stop patients from panicking.</p>



<p>“The concern was that this was putting the frighteners into patients without the full facts being available,” Christopher Bishop told the Inquiry.</p>



<p>In response to the Telegraph story, a spokesman for Bayer said it is cooperating fully with the Infected Blood Inquiry and it would be inappropriate to comment before the final report is issued.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Bayer is truly sorry that this tragic situation occurred and that therapies that were developed by Bayer Group companies, and were prescribed by doctors to save and improve lives, in fact, ended up causing so much suffering to so many.”</p>



<p>CSL Behring, which acquired Armour’s manufacturing facilities in 2004, refused to comment on the “historical activities of Armour Pharmaceuticals.”</p>

Pharma Companies Knowingly Sold Blood Products Contaminated with HIV and Hepatitis C


<p><strong>Dozens of pro-Palestine protesters disrupted the University of Michigan spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, demanding that the college cut ties with Israel over the ongoing war in Gaza. </strong></p>



<p>During the event at the Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, the students in keffiyehs and graduation cap chanted&nbsp;<em>“Regents, regents, you can’t hide! You are funding genocide!”</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>“Disclose, divest, we will not stop!”</em>&nbsp;They held up Palestinian flags as they were walking between the aisles.&nbsp;</p><div class="chjlO3Uq"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>Some attendees shouted abuse at the protesters, with one person yelling&nbsp;<em>“shut the f**k up.”</em>&nbsp;Another person in the audience was heard screaming&nbsp;<em>“You’re ruining our graduation!”</em>&nbsp;</p>



<p>According to the New York Times, a plane flew over the stadium with a sign that said <em>“Free Palestine”</em> and <em>“Divest from Israel now.”</em> Another plane carried a message <em>“We stand with Israel. Jewish lives matter.”</em></p>

<p>The protest occurred after more than 2,300 Palestine supporters were arrested across over 70 US college campuses this week for sit-ins and refusing to leave makeshift encampments on university grounds, according to an NBC News tally. On several occasions, police resorted to using stun grenades and pepper spray when students and activists failed to comply with orders.</p>



<p>The affected universities issued statements saying they were forced to ask the police for help because the protesters were disturbing the education process and breaking campus regulations. Pro-Palestine activists have also been accused of accosting Jewish students and shouting anti-Semitic slogans.</p><div class="3YwcNx7m"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p><em>“There’s the right to protest, but not the right to cause chaos,”</em>&nbsp;President Joe Biden said in a televised statement from the White House on Thursday, adding that students have&nbsp;<em>“the right to walk across the campus safely without fear of being attacked.”</em>&nbsp;</p>



<p>More than 34,000 Palestinians have been killed during Israel’s military campaign, which nears its seventh month. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated this week that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) would enter the southern Gazan city of Rafah, which is crowded with Palestinian refugees. The IDF still intends to&nbsp;<em>“eliminate Hamas’ battalions”</em>&nbsp;in the area, Netanyahu said.</p>



<p>The latest round of fighting between Hamas and Israel erupted on October 7, when the Palestinian militants carried out a surprise raid into Israeli territory, killing some 1,200 people and taking more than 200 hostages. Dozens of captives were subsequently released as part of a prisoner swap during a weeklong ceasefire in November.</p>
