A Message to the Environmental Movement: Your Movement Has Been Hijacked

Transcript: This is James Corbett of corbettreport.com and I come here today with a message for you.
You the environmentalists, you the activists, you the campaigners.
You who have watched with growing concern the ways in which the world around us has been ravaged in the pursuit of the almighty dollar.
You who are concerned with the state of the planet that we are leaving for our children and our grandchildren and those generations yet unborn.
This is not a message of divisiveness, but cooperation.
This is a message of hope and empowerment, but it requires us to look at a hard and uncomfortable truth:
Your movement has been usurped by the very same financial interests you thought you were fighting against.
You have suspected as much for years.
You watched at first with hope and excitement as your movement, your cause, your message began to spread, as it was taken up by the media and given attention, as conferences were organized and as the ideas you had struggled so long and hard to be heard were talked about nationally. Then internationally.
You watched with growing unease as the message was simplified. First it became a slogan. Then it became a brand. Soon it was nothing more than a label and it became attached to products. The ideas you had once fought for were now being sold back to you. For profit.
You watched with growing unease as the message became parroted, not argued, worn like a fashion rather than something that came from the conviction of understanding.
You disagreed when the slogans–and then the science–were dumbed down. When carbon dioxide became the focus and CO2 was taken up as a political cause. Soon it was the only cause.
You knew that Al Gore was not a scientist, that his evidence was factually incorrect, that the movement was being taken over by a cause that was not your own, one that relied on beliefs you did not share to propose a solution you did not want. It began to reach a breaking point when you saw that the solutions being proposed were not solutions at all, when they began to propose new taxes and new markets that would only serve to line their own pockets.
You knew something was wrong when you saw them argue for a cap-and-trade scheme proposed by Ken Lay, when you saw Goldman Sachs position itself to ride the carbon trading bubble, when the whole thrust of the movement became ways to make money or spend money or raise money from this panic.
Your movement had been hijacked.
The realization came the first time you read The Club of Rome’s 1991 book, The First Global Revolution, which says:
“In searching for a common enemy against whom we can unite, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like, would fit the bill. In their totality and their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat which must be confronted by everyone together. But in designating these dangers as the enemy, we fall into the trap, which we have already warned readers about, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention in natural processes, and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy then is humanity itself.”
And when you looked at the Club of Rome’s elite member roster. And when you learnt about eugenics and the Rockefeller ties to the Kaiser Willhelm Institute and the practice of crypto-eugenics and the rise of overpopulation fearmongering and the call by elitist after elitist after elitist to cull the world population.

Still, you wanted to believe that there was some basis of truth, something real and valuable in the single-minded obsession of this hijacked environmental movement with manmade global warming.
Now, in November 2009, the last traces of doubt have been removed.
Last week, an insider leaked internal documents and emails from the Climate Research Unit of East Anglia University and exposed the lies, manipulation and fraud behind the studies that supposedly show 0.6 degrees Celsius of warming over the last 130 years. And the hockey stick graph that supposedly shows unprecedented warming in our times. And the alarmist warning of impending climate disaster.
We now know that these scientists wrote programming notes in the source code of their own climate models admitting that results were being manually adjusted.
We now know that values were being adjusted to conform to scientists’ wishes, not reality.
We now know that the peer review process itself was being perverted to exclude those scientists whose work criticized their findings.
We now know that these scientists privately expressed doubts about the science that they publicly claimed to be settled.
We now know, in short, that they were lying.
It is unknown as yet what the fallout will be from all of this, but it is evident that the fallout will be substantial.
With this crisis, however, comes an opportunity. An opportunity to recapture the movement that the financiers have stolen from the people.
Together, we can demand a full and independent investigation into all of the researchers whose work was implicated in the CRU affair.
We can demand a full re-evaluation of all those studies whose conclusions have been thrown into question by these revelations, and all of the public policy that has been based on those studies.
We can establish new standards of transparency for scientists whose work is taxpayer funded and/or whose work effects public policy, so that everyone has full and equal access to the data used to calculate results and all of the source code used in all of the programs used to model that data.
In other words, we can reaffirm that no cause is worth supporting that requires deception for its propagation.
Even more importantly, we can take back the environmental movement.
We can begin to concentrate on the serious questions that need to be asked about the genetic engineering technology whereby hybrid organisms and new, never-before-seen proteins that are being released into the biosphere in a giant, uncontrolled experiment that threatens the very genome of life on this planet.
We can look into the environmental causes of the explosion in cancer and the staggering drops in fertility over the last 50 years, including the BPA in our plastics and the anti-androgens in the water.
We can examine regulatory agencies that are controlled by the very corporations they are supposedly watching over.
We can begin focusing on depleted uranium and the dumping of toxic waste into the rivers and all of the issues that we once knew were part of the mandate of the real environmental movement.
Or we can, as some have, descend into petty partisan politics. We can decide that lies are OK if they support ‘our’ side. We can defend the reprehensible actions of the CRU researchers and rally around the green flag that has long since been captured by the enemy.
It is a simple decision to make, but one that we must make quickly, before the argument can be spun away and environmentalism can go back to business as usual.
We are at a crossroads of history. And make no mistake, history will be the final judge of our actions. So I leave you today with a simple question: Which side of history do you want to be on?

Too bad there isn’t such a fervor for the immoral continuing wars. To keep harping on the climate change issue is futile. They are still going through with the tax most likely and they will just ignore and whitewash the evidence, maybe burn a few of the scientists but the head honchos never pay for the crime.
The Elites make sure they are untouchable. If you try to climb up to them they just kick you back down but someday their tower of power will fall because the biggest mistake they made was blasphemy. It will not be man that topples the Elite so pay attention to the signs. The climate hoax is trivial compared to the big picture. 1. Shame not profit should be the aim for all to protect the environment.
2. More energy sources like nuclear to boost human productivity
3. A galactic mission for mankind to explore and colonize our solar system and live like the
the Jetsons no more like the Flinstones.
4. We should stop globalization and British-style free trade — that would stop local fish and foodstuffs from being shipped and dragged overseas and spur an organic, cultural local diet.
5. We should stop using building materials like wood and instead use more ‘permenant’ construction like stone and concrete to build our homes and cultural centers.
A new way of thinking and a disposal of Wall Street/City of London is the new environmental movement.

This is nothing but a ploy to distract us 9/11 Truthers from Climategate. We all know 9/11 was an inside job, there’s nothing a bunch of text messages is going to add to the debate.

London, England:
Apparently, an “alien craft” of sorts has been hovering in the sky over London. Police have evacuated the area of a 5km radius. At appoximately 11:11 AM London time, a smaller craft exited the “mothership”.
After touchdown on the streets of London, 3 occupants of the vehicle emerged. Apparently it was communicated that they desired to speak to, what has been termed as, “World Leaders”. After several hours Brown, Blair, Obama, both Bushes, the Queen of England, the Pope, Putin and an entire contingency from China appeard on the scene. Later it was reported that Hugo Chavez finally arrived on the scene. Moments later, Oprah Winfrey arrived.
A shocking scene then erupted. Apparently the ‘visitors’ communicated that they wanted ” World Leaders” to be present. It was then communicated to the visitors that THESE ARE THE WORLD LEADERS. At that….the visitors instantly vaporized the group where they stood.
We have word that the ‘visitors’ asked for leaders and not blood-thirsty, lying, felonious criminals that lead based on oppression, thievery, wars and murders. They have apparently communicated that they still desire to speak with a World Leader.
As of this time, the governments of the World have not been able to find an appropriate representative that will meet the visitor’s requirements. [ sarc ]

BTW, my ‘timezone’ settings are set to GMT-1:00, the same settings as the Cape Verde Islands, where a MAJOR email hub is, which allows the PATRIOT 2 to read my incoming emails, as this constitutes a transmission OUT of my country, and then again, back IN…

You are exactly right. The reason I am on here is because I want to know what others are swallowing because that is much more important than truth. The people in control don’t care if Global warming is true or not… They care about what people are swallowing and are reacting accordingly to gain the most. If global warming falls out of favor they will be the first to come up with an alternative.
Most people have felt the effect of pollution and realize the dangers personally or know people that have been affected so the “elites” (anybody with an advertising budget or media outlet including Alex) have to address this in a way they can have the most control… Global warming had the most universal implications with a decent amount of science behind it. Spin it and now some own it. Alex makes his living by being contrary to nearly everybody, which is a personality trait common to enough to carve a significant niche market out of.
I see the elite gaining more by having Alex spew his rhetoric in Apocalyptic fashion because it’s so “sky is falling” that the majority of people can’t take him seriously. In fact Alex could tell the truth and have all the original copies to prove it and wouldn’t change anything because he is a pompous blow-hard. I heard him go off for 15 minutes about Rush lifting his Al Gore Photoshop story (a lame and pointless story) instead of rubbing his own member he could have had honest debate with real POLICY MAKERS and make them look silly like Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report do as silly comedy acts.

No one is saying they aren’t aware of the problems in the environment but there is way too many unknown variables to just start throwing cash (that we don’t have) at the problem…
How will that money be used?
Will those programs be succesful?
What if the plan is terrible but takes 10 years to evidence the mistake?
What if the program is a good one but implementation is poor so they scrap it?
What if these people just run off with the money?

Some of this confusion we are seeing regarding fake science could be intentional government disinformation which is meant to keep from asking whether the USA is involved in weather manipulation. Yes, I dare question if weather manipulation is another secret part of this global climate hoax.
It is my belief that weather modification through secret science or secret technology is the real reason for the unusual weather we see from State to State across the USA.
Whether we are manipulating weather or the Russians, Chinese, Indians, European someone is going to find I am certain that when the numbers couldnt be met in the planning rooms of scientist and environmental group meetings.
We will probably find that when the data needed some assistance or bump in a certain geograhic area it was done to assist in the fraud.
They could have decided to use weather manipulation for more than we are aware and if so then we as citizen of planet earth have to ensure that these lying bastards are never allowed to decieve the planet on such a scale ever again.
If weather manipulation can be proven, then it opens up the Pandora’s box of questions that no leader wants to discuss. It would take us deeper into the rabbit hole and its already pretty dark.
We must also begin to question the process of classifying certain matters, data, information secret matters of national interests just because we dont want anyone to find out the truth of what has been going on and who screwed up.
When scientist and governmental leaders act more like agents of evil than representatives of the people we as a nation better take note and begin to prepare for more evil.
This small disclosure can open up many more venues that will once again show that we are led by criminals and a system that is so corrupt it can no longer disguise itself to the public.

If only we as a nation could look into the secret files and records of the Democrats and Republicans. I am certain that perhaps as far back as 1985 we entered an age whereby our leaders began using our new grasp of computer science and computers to find ways to manipulate the data.

We can no longer trust any system that creates its own facts to support their agenda. It has come to our attention that Alex Jones has repudiated having any membership with RSICC. He stated on an April 25, 2006 radio show (about 35-40 minutes in) that he never agreed to membership, but that he was inducted absent of his knowledge or consent..
That is not true.
I spoke with Alex by phone back in December, 2001, and he like the idea of what we were doing, and he agreed to be listed as a member. We modified his membership to “Honorary” in March, 2002, due to his lack of participation in the decision-making process. He was notified of this profile page.
I’ve never been contacted by Alex Jones requesting removal of this profile, or resignation from membership.
Alex obviously is making a huge impact worldwide, and probably considers this a low priority for his time. When he states that he never agreed to membership in RSICC, he probably forgot about our initial phone conversation. That’s fine.
I just wish to set the record straight that we do not induct people into membership without their consent.
RSICC has been dormant for several years, due to lack of funding.
My intent in clarifying is not the paint Alex as a liar, for I am guessing it is just a matter of forgetfulness on his part. My intent is to make it clear that we did not induct Alex Jones as a member without his knowledge and without his consent.
We wish Mr. Jones continued success in the great work he is doing of informing people about what is going on in dark corners of the planet.

Germany’s top soldier has resigned over a Nato air strike in Afghanistan in which civilians are thought to have died, the defence minister said.
Wolfgang Schneiderhan stood down over the 4 September attack in Kunduz on fuel tankers hijacked by the Taliban.
His decision followed reports that information about the strike – ordered by a German commander – was withheld, the defence minister said.
The strike is thought to have killed dozens of civilians collecting fuel.
Taliban fighters had seized the two tankers while they were being driven from Tajikistan to supply Nato forces in Kabul.
Reports said that villagers were taking fuel from the tankers when the strike happened.
According to the independent Afghanistan Rights Monitor group, up to 70 civilians died.
Defence Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg told parliament that Gen Schneiderhan had failed to provide proper information about the incident.

Well…. thanks to things like Climategate there are now a few journalists (or churnalists, LOL) who are starting to question things, whether climate channge or swine flu etc. Its not enough however.
