Air France crash mystery deepens

Most of what we heard from Thursday’s briefing by the investigating team only serves to deepen the mystery behind the loss of the Airbus A330.
Lead investigator Alain Bouillard sums matters up when he says: “As of today we are far from having any real idea of the causes of this accident.”
Consider what we now know. The aircraft was cruising in an area in which other aircraft were successfully managing to avoid the worst of the storms. It did however suffer “inconsistent” speed indications to the pilots and its computers and this is an aircraft type with a known history of such problems.

Consider this:
Just a few weeks after Google Earth reveals the existence of a massive complex mid-Atlantic deemed by some to be “Atlantis” though poo-pooed as an error with seismography. An area the size of Ireland. This subsea anomaly at a depth of 3-4km requiring the latest AUV robotic systems to investigate at immense cost (millions if not billions) to any organisation that chooses to investigate. (Consider the cost of the Titanic discovery and investigation).
The writings of Plato (et al) describe Atlantis as being smothered in precious stones and precious metals, the likes this modern world has never seen. A global power unto itself in its heyday, not unlike the USA once was. The value, if it existed, would dwarf all the worlds gold supply currently held in all the vaults worldwide.
The french airliner crashed further south of this subsea anomaly. There are limits to any success of recovery of either of the black boxes. Yet, just about every navy with subsea exploration AUVs has relocated its most expensive and complex assets to the mid atlantic to assist with the search for the “black boxes”. Submarines are currently doing high definition sonar evaluation to facilitate this search.
So at the end of the 30days, the black box hunt when the pingers stop sounding, what do you do with billions of dollars of subsea robotic gear? The US, Europe, South American navies are in the region, away from the public scrutiny after the search is called off, so where do you send them? At tax payers expense too!
Conspiracy theory? A couple of weeks ago, Richard Branson of Virgin fame, entrepreneur extrordinare, unexpectedly announced to the world he was giving up ambitions in racing boats, planes and balloons for a new venture in deep sea exploration.
Personally, I believe that plane was downed on purpose. This would enable the movement of prize exploration sea vehicles from other regions of the world to the mid Atlantic.
As this “Atlantis” anomaly spans a region of 1000 square kilometres and situated in International waters, it will be first come first served to any potential riches. If hypothetically, there are artifacts of value recovered, then this would be so controversial, that mankinds thirst of greed and power between the worlds global elite would possibly instigate a new sea war between nations or private organisations. (not unlike the US in the middle east).

here in holland it was in the news that the black boxes would be hard to find because of the sea mountains and Trash that was / is there.
last week another plane crash one survivor also airbus also above water.
they can not “blame” this on Al Ciada because there is no connection even to the most ignorant.
not saying it is a JOB, but i can see from passenger manifest lots of reasons.

Russia has lost a couple planes as well, you guys are looking in the wrong direction. Airbus is fly by wire and when there is electromagnetic interference they can fall from the sky. The next year may be really interesting.

Not because they were blown up,nor because they were hijacked,they just do malfunction from time to time,so let’s not assign some conspiracy to this event until there’s more evidence of malice.
Think about it,if it were terrorists they would be gleefully taking credit for this event in order to show the French their power and capabilities by now-they have not done so.

As some1 who had a lodger who headed an EM protection department of a GE subsidory involved in a certain recent sophisiticate military aircraft I can confirm military plane manufacturers have been investing heavily in EM protection at every level inside the plane, from electronic components to the skin itself. The (ex) lodger turned down a lucractive job offer to work for Airbus (so he claimed). Pity, I’d rather he/she had worked to protect civies than soldiers but there you go.

I suspect the reason the black boxes still haven’t been found is because they already WERE found. Lucky for Boeing that both planes were Air France Airbuses. If one more “has an accident” all Airbuses could be grounded forcing many airlines to buy Boeings. The last series of airbus sabotage was a few years earlier where the new hangars suffered strange explosions causing several cancelled airbus orders.

There is clearly a coverup under way regarding this accident. The very idea that the black boxes can’t be found is absurd.
Even assuming that the Brazilians don’t have the proper deep water recovery capability ( which I personally suspect that they do ), the US Navy certainly does have the capability, and probably could have located and recovered both the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder within just several days. My guess is both of these recorders HAVE been recovered and that this fact is being concealed.

Has anybody thought that the airbus is simply an inferior plane? Just like the Concorde was. There is no other Boeing in the world. Didn’t anybody find it weird that the French were so quick in pointing out that the engines are GE???? They were simply trying to cover up the inferiority of the rest of the plane. Sometimes, it’s not a plot. The French simply do not have the technology that Beoing has. Period.

Airbus is a French-German consortium , the French came up with some of the very first
airplanes in history , and the Germans had flying saucers in the 1940’s !!! WTF ?!?

If they are found look for something very similiar. ps….the tests for explosives came back negative for the Air France planes…..that is a lie. Have them idependantly verified and you will get a different results. pps…..the “investigators” will NEVER allow an independant test for explosives!

How often do black boxes get damaged to the point where no data can be found? What was going on with Air France that would warrant a coverup? Who or what was on that plane? I agree there should be independent investigations into 911. Will never happen.
The first story about Air France was the passengers bones were broken which means the plane broke up in mid air. Then a few weeks later they come out with the plane hitting the water in tact. Which is it? If it broke up in mid air what would be responsible for that? For them to not test for explosives would raise eyebrows. They will just release a statement that they checked for it and there were none found.

Look at it this way.
Supposing the plane was blown out of the sky – there had been threats made a day or so before take-off.
Do you think with oil prices creeping up, the depression biting into airline profits that the authorities would admit this?
NO.
So there is all this conjecture about the plane “breaking up” in mid-air. Anyone who has worked in an airline hangar (as I have) knows that planes are stripped out and maintained EVERY YEAR.
If the scenario of the plane being blown up comes out, do you think people will fly?
NO.
I think you will find that there will never be any answers of accountability for this accident – just bits and pieces leaking out over time.

What gets me is that the plane was above all the weather so not much of a factor. The plane also has heated pitot tubes so that airspeed fault is not likely. My guess is that it was a simple system malfunction (have you ever looked into the guts of a big plane like that… wires, tubes, cables…) and it just dove straight down out of control into the water. On the way down in a vertical dive there are no G forces, you just go down and then SPLAT. It is over in a eye blink. I have a little experience as a flight test engineer scientist with Douglas Aircraft a few years ago flying in their military jets. k7vhq

I wrote an article about a related issue. I was wondering if solar flares could have had a role in the crash of Air France 447. The reason I suddenly became interested in this is that AF 447 was flying through the South Atlantic Anomaly, an area where there is a hole in the protective magnetosphere, when the pilot mysteriously lost control and the plane suddenly crashed into the sea. Some have blamed this on computer failure, but could the computer failure have been caused by solar radiation knocking out the aircraft’s electronics?
I also get into the issue of the strange weather this summer and whether this could be related to the relative lack of solar activity recently. Could it be that global warming/cooling is really more closely related to solar activity than human made carbon emissions? You can read the whole article here:
