Al-Sadr demands full U.S. withdrawal from Iraq

Muqtada al-Sadr made the statement on his Web site a day after U.S. forces withdrew from Iraqi cities and towns in accordance with the security agreement between the United States and Iraq.
About 131,000 American troops remain in the country, on bases and in outposts outside of population centers.
“The withdrawal should include all the occupation forces: army, intelligence, militias, and security companies and others. Otherwise, the withdrawal will be uncompleted and useless,” al-Sadr said.

I say we boycott the Alex Jones show until he clarifies or takes back what he said about gay couples adopting kids yesterday. That was something that I would expect from Mike Savage I thought Alex was more of a free thinker and believer in equality than that. I am so disapointed….anyone else? I think this was just a slimy attempt to pander to the religious bigots that tune into his show and/or provide funding, either way it was a disgusting comment that shouldn’t be allowed to slide.

The SOFA will expire July 31, 2009 if it isn’t cancelled before then, which would give the US 12 months to get out, or the ratification law is amended to provide an extension.
Iraq fought Iran to a standstill during an extremely trajic war. I don’t think they will fail in their efforts to stabalize the country once the US is gone.
I hope they are successful and that Iraq will become a nice place that people will want to come home to.

i really enjoy the people that the show presents. there is very informative information on this program. what disappoints me is that so many people truly believe that alex is a man of principles and sacrificing for the greater good and sacrificing himself financially.
1. before alex was william cooper. and unlike alex HE PREDICTED 911. alex rode his coattails. how dare alex say he had the acumen to decipher the media and call that prediction.
2. several years back alex was invited to this christians home in texas who was having problems with the police wanting to raid his ranch. he interviewed this man because this man TRUSTED alex. alex allegedly then turned around and sold him down the river to ABC news( the interview) for like a pathetic few hundred dollars. ALEX is motivated by your money people, dont doubt his intentions!
3. alex would truly gain many peoples trust if he was willing to publish the way the money from the moneybomb was spent. if his intentions are altruistic, dont you think it would just be natural for him to want to LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW THEIR MONEY WAS SPENT??
4. i heard alex’s rant today about chastising infowarstv.com for potentially taking money away from ALEX”S businesses. check out infowarstv.com. he presents it alot better than i.
people please dont think that i know or am affiliated with the above website in any way. I AM NOT. i live in maine and have been listening to alex for about a year. i just want to say that the intentions of alex imo is $$$ first and alex loves to hype things up very often. i have caught alex over exaggerating so so often and while he is on point about alot of things, i believe he is greedy and i am very suspect of his true intentions.
