An economy bigger than Russia, Brazil, Canada, India or Spain is in imminent risk of defaulting on its debts.
Which nation am I talking about?

Not a country . . . but the state of California.
California’s GDP was around $1.812 trillion in 2007.
According to the International Monetary Fund, that is bigger than the 2008 GDP of every country in the world except the US, Japan, China, Germany, France, UK and Italy .
Given that California has more people than any other state in the US, and some of the largest agricultural, manufacturing, high-tech and defense sectors in the nation, you would think that helping California would be important.
And yet – instead of helping California – the federal government is giving aid to Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and the other financial giants who helped to cause the financial crisis, and to Israel and other foreign countries.
Does that make any sense?
Note: Depending on which source is cited (CIA World Factbook, World Bank, or IMF), California ranks somewhere between 7th and 10th in world GDP.
Technically, California’s economic measure is not GDP, as that is a national measure. The correct term is “Gross State Product”.

I say we boycott the Alex Jones show until he clarifies or takes back what he said about gay couples adopting kids yesterday. That was something that I would expect from Mike Savage I thought Alex was more of a free thinker and believer in equality than that. I am so disapointed….anyone else? I think this was just a slimy attempt to pander to the religious bigots that tune into his show and/or provide funding, either way it was a disgusting comment that shouldn’t be allowed to slide.

I didn’t hear it but that doesn’t surprise me. Alex isn’t really as enlightened as you think. He sits by computers and google searches stuff. Anybody could do that. Remember Alex is very Christian. How does not believeing in a supreme being that created the universe have ANYTHING to do with the New World Order?? I need a different news site that doesn’t mix religion with politics, becasue that is a cumbustable mixture and I don’t want to be apart of the explosion. I guess you’re right Joe, I did think too highly of Alex. And what I am talking about is when he said that gay people need to accept that they can’t have kids and they need to stop stealing them from straight couples through CPS. I know of a lot of kids who came out of horrible situations and really needed the love of parents. Whether those parents abide by the rules in a bigoted holy book is beside the point that these kids need someone to care for them. Alex has a tendancy to make things too black and white, which is probably a result of his religious programming. Does anyone know of a sort of secular version of infowars with relevant information? When you say that people (politicians) who you disagree with serve an invisable spirit that you are opposed to, then yes, you have mixed religion with politics. If these people truly do believe in invisible spirits and they are politicians then it doesn’t follow that you also have to believe in invisible spirits in order to oppose them. Yes this is a problem! Right now it’s going on in the South, how long till it’s door to door in the midwest? I can’t believe that there hasn’t been stand off after stand off, I though the folks in the South were hard core Patriots? The only way they can defeat us is by going door to door! If we all stand together, for instance when farmer Joe down the road, is getting his property seized, it’s up to every single person in the Community, to go to Joe’s farm, & make a stand! If we don’t stop them at Joe’s Farm, they will be at our front doors next! People we have to stand together, not apart, like the lone gunmen you hear about on the news, but together with one voice! This means that we have to be completely aware of our surroundings, & what is happening in our Communities. It’s much easier to rally your neighbors, than it is to try & rally the whole Country at once. It’s like the old saying, chose your battles wisely! As much as many of us would like to just run out & fix this mess, we can only serve this Country, one community at a time! When you see a stand off in your town, that you know is illegal, on the part of the authorities, it’s up to you to round up every able bodied Patriot, to protect the property, &/or lives of the person being picked on! What will they do, gun a whole town down? That will only add fuel to the fire, & they know that. So my guess would be, they would be forced to stand down, or ignite a firestorm of Patriots! Remember, one Community at a time! This will save us all a whole lot of energy!

Educate yourself about what political parties are out there and encourage others too as well. Vote for real change! Vote independent! The governator is trying to get a bill passed that will make all cali homeowners pay taxes on every forest fire that pops up in this state; not sure if its just the homes in the county with the fire, or any fire in cali and ALL homeowners in the whole state; prob’ly the latter..

See what most people fail to understand is… for our government… or actually the “Elites” to take over…. This is going to be a tight one for sure. I believe that Obama will bailout California, but he doesn’t want to for one reason. It’s because as soon as he bails out California, the rest of the states will want him to bail them out also. And another thing, states won’t have to make that decision anymore for raising taxes and such, all they would have to do is wait it out and let things go bad then the govt. will bail them out. I think he shouldn’t bail them out, he and Bush shouldn’t have bailed out the banks also. By letting California fail it will force the state to do what they have been not wanting to do.

i really enjoy the people that the show presents. there is very informative information on this program. what disappoints me is that so many people truly believe that alex is a man of principles and sacrificing for the greater good and sacrificing himself financially.
1. before alex was william cooper. and unlike alex HE PREDICTED 911. alex rode his coattails. how dare alex say he had the acumen to decipher the media and call that prediction.
2. several years back alex was invited to this christians home in texas who was having problems with the police wanting to raid his ranch. he interviewed this man because this man TRUSTED alex. alex allegedly then turned around and sold him down the river to ABC news( the interview) for like a pathetic few hundred dollars. ALEX is motivated by your money people, dont doubt his intentions!
3. alex would truly gain many peoples trust if he was willing to publish the way the money from the moneybomb was spent. if his intentions are altruistic, dont you think it would just be natural for him to want to LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW THEIR MONEY WAS SPENT??

What is the militia? The term “militia” consists of two parts: the organized militia and the unorganized militia. According to the organic Maine Constitution and backed by the United States Code, the organized militia is the standing military force in the state (the “State Guard”) while the unorganized militia (which is commonly called the militia) consists of all other males between the ages of 17 and 45 (or 65 if they have prior military service). The militia was established for the purpose of defending the state (a sovereign nation) and the United States of America (a union of nations) from all enemies “foreign and domestic” based upon principles of community self defense established hundreds of years before the nation was formed. However, while the organized militia was tasked with the defenses of the states, our forefathers, having just fought their own government, did not place their entire trust in the government or a standing army to protect them but reserved the right and the means to protect themselves – thus the unorganized militia. The militia was and is a defensive body set up so that its members can take care of normal peace by internal lawless elements, or government usurpation of the rights and power of the people guaranteed by the Constitution, there is a group of people that owe their allegiance to no one except God and their fellow Americans who desire to remain free.
The mission and purpose of the militia have not changed. What has changed is the status of the organized militia. The “State Guard” with the duty and obligation of protecting the state is now under federal jurisdiction (the “National Guard”) thereby obligating it only to the federal government making the unorganized militia the only constitutional force available for the defense of the state.
