Anaheim police surveillance of poor may overstep federal law

Anaheim police routinely scour city records of families receiving federal rental assistance to look for links to crime suspects, a practice that critics say amounts to placing the poor under illegal surveillance.

U.S. Code Section 1437z of Title 42 states that police can request data only on specific individuals who are fleeing to avoid prosecution, custody and confinement; are violating probation or parole; or have information necessary to law enforcement. Police must provide the housing authority with the name of the individual being sought.
“As you can see, (the law) is tailored to avoid this kind of fishing expedition,” said Richard Marcantonio, head attorney for The Public Advocates, a San Francisco law firm that represents the poor.
After being contacted by The Orange County Register, officials at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which funds the program, said the agency would review Anaheim’s practice.

if we the people would just reclaim our “sovereign citizenship” things of this nature could never happen, because as is stands as of right now if you have not reclaimed your “sovereign citizenship” you have no rights no declaration of independence rights, amendment rights, or any other right for that matter, THIS IS FACT that has been proven in the courts time after time,the only thing you have is 14th amendment privileges which can be given or taken at any time by the grantee.
see now i know that many of you think its just a null adhesion contract that was voided by the state or federal government abuse, but that is simply not the case, because as long as whatever is being done is being done to a people who have a “birth certificate” no matter what it is, they can do it with the backing of the courts because the grantees are sovereign people who are making things, and restricting things from a non- sovereign people, within a sovereign state, within a united corporation. and so, by reclaiming your sovereign citizenship, it restores all the rights that you where given at birthright by the state in which your born. the sovereign people would be able to make decision with the full backing of the declaration of independence, and the amended rights which where exchanged for “privileges” through adhesion contracts, please i challenge anyone who does not believe me or think im in left field about this to research, so you can see for yourself that what i speak of is FACT. please people it is the only other way then revolution to make the government get back into its proper smaller place working the the People!!!

This is nothing new… as a teenager just hanging out on the streets and classed as a gangmember by LAPD. This is somewhat disinformation. There is lower level police that have to go through the motions of official requests from the housing authorities for information but at higher levels this is not required. Their is a convergance of datastreams that takes place with all government records that higher policing have access to. Its not unlike seen on the holywood pentagon propaganda series 24, only we are the terrorists. They have extensive psychological profiles(dossier’s), on all of us, we the people are their enemy they believe, that is why we all have security risk assessment scores.

My father as I was growing up had a sign in our family room which read
” Poverty is No Crime” which was meant as a joke because we were middle class.
Apparently, poverty IS a crime !
( My father grew up dirt poor in Iowa and worked his butt off to get to where he was ).

I want to add that I just temporarily disowned my best friend, an Iraq veteran because I can see the yearn he and his ex-vet buddies to shoot anyone who gets in their way. Apparently ex-soldiers think putting loaded .40 Glocks to your face is somehow exciting. Sigh, I dunno what the fuck the military has poisoned these people with. Never ask a recent vet (as in the last 2 years) how many kills they had unless you want a beating and threatening about shutting up because of their connections… I sure hope more soldiers say fuck it and disobey their superiors who violate the constitution. That’s a soldier, not just some trigger happy veteran in serious need of a psychologist and large doses of marijuana.
