Angry French farmers blocked the famous Champs-Elysees Avenue in Paris early this morning to call attention to the difficulties their sector is going though. Several other French cities were also affected. In Poitiers (western France), farmers dumped about a thousand cubic meters of soil in the city center. French media reported that several hundreds of tractors converged towards the centers of several French cities from north to south, disrupting or stopping traffic on roads and highways. 52,000 protesters took part in the protests nationwide, according to the FNSEA (Fédération Nationale des Exploitants Agricoles), France’s main farmers’ union.
In Paris, about 50 cereal growers set up barriers and dropped bales of hay on the chic Champs-Elysees avenue, next to the posh Fouquet’s restaurant where French President Nicolas Sarkozy celebrated his election in May 2007. Protesters set hay and tires on fire, completely blocking rush-hour traffic in several streets in the area.

Who’s waiving the white flag now? (Us) The whole myth of the French favoring surrender has always been BS. They helped set up America more than any other country. They gave us the statue of liberty and their scholars and open society trained up our founding fathers. Now they’re showing us up. When a government fears the people things are a whole lot better than when we fear it. But we’ll just sit around get fat on freedom fries while they freak the hell out of their elected officials. But go on and keep worshiping that piece of paper like it is God incarnate. You are close, but no cigar for you. It is time to TRY AGAIN! We can do better than that crappy document, and that is only for people who actually believe that they need somebody else to tell them what to do. I have a better idea. A.N.A.R.C.H.Y N.O.W. The constitution is indeed a flawed document. It doesn’t regulate the gov. enough and fails to give we the people enough protections. On the other hand, it is all that stands between us and tyranny right now. Not a very pleasant though considering how its been hammered into submission, ignored and even blatantly violated as of late.

And now we have only one last chance to make it right. You have to be some kinda stupid to blame our troubles on the constitution. Every problem we have, BAR NONE, is a problem that is predicated on a contravention of those brilliant, visionary documents. It’s time we get back to following them, or we are lost.

Pike was the Father of Masonry… 33rd degree… Scottish Rite.
It only makes sense to me, that just like Christians follow their bible to the END, that when Pike provided them a vision of 3 world wars to create a one world order, that they, as the faithful, would consciously or unconsciously find a way to bring it into fruition.
Humanity has always sought to end it’s self, from the time it became self aware… looks like, with each passing day, you guys are getting closer and closer to doing it… I don’t know if I should be appalled, or say bravo. Dear carma:
What point have they lost by doing these things, as you say?; That having free-speech means having to obtain permits to do so? A permit is by definition a license to do something which is otherwise illegal. So by buying into their system of permits you have effectively given up your right to free-speech, which is endowed by your creator, whomever you believe that to be, but certainly not a government permit bureaucracy.
Cheers.

Whoever you believe that to be??? This is one of the major problems we have in this country. We’ve been so propagandized that we don’t know what to believe anymore. The lies have been put out into the public arena so repeatably, for so many years that most folks are confused. Jesus asked the question before he left “will there be any faith in the earth when I return” Good question! There is only one God and he created all that there is. And please don’t feed me that evolution garbage that has no basis in real science. That’s only the beginning of the lie that evil men have propagated for your destruction. You had better find out the root and cause of all that’s being put out before you. Study the filthy doctrine of the NWO and what drives these people. It’s not about money, it’s about power and control.

Seems when people need to move to action there’s a great lethargy, an inertia (comes from inert). What to do about that? I am just one person, and there is strength in numbers.
When it comes time to have the r3VOLution, by myself I can do nothing to fight, but when we have the numbers on our side people, we can win. At least make an accounting of ourselves. Numbers are also good for protesting! I’ll get arrested– so what? Maybe I can wake up a few jackbooted thugs– who knows?

Right now this a purely numbers game. There is no point in forming cadres at this point, if it means you got to wake up even one less person. Numbers, numbers. You hear a lot about how many sleepers are waking up…LOTS. Now, how many can go back to sleep…NONE. So just play the numbers. In this phase it’s almost purely an info-war. The bad conditions that will come will take care of ALL the physical mobilizing. Just get the word out. NUMBERS!

And what would it achieve if we did? Protests don’t result in anything but the arrest of the protesters. Here at home, farmers are suing state and local governments, as well as Monsanto, trying to stop what they are doing to our food supply. I’d call that a far more productive activity than dumping cow manure in the streets.

Dear Gary:
Sorry about the overly sarcastic remarks, but your self-righteous crusade against Alex’s supposed corporate ties is a red herring. So patriots are not allowed to make a living, spreading truth then? I suppose the proceeds from the T-shirts you sell on your website are for donation to your local food bank, right?
You seem like a very angry person (I can tell from the eyes), with lots to say, but no one to listen to you, ergo you spend an inordinate amount of time chastising your compatriots rather than focusing on the real issues. You want everyone to know that you have all the answers; that we should trust your omnipotence. You are the sole-proprietor of truth.
You seem so pent up with frustration that you can’t even bring yourself to nurture those things you share in common with your brothers-in-arms, but instead see fit to divide and obfuscate over trivial minutia.
I am grateful for your efforts at spreading truth, but there is nothing you’ve written in your blogs that I have not researched from multiple sources (not including Alex). Stop being so obtuse and making assumptions about your perceived lessors. There are multiple sources of news available to us and I don’t take Alex’s words as gospel. They are only one of many stepping-stones for my own follow-up research, just as are those of many other legitimate journalists like yourself.
If you were a true patriot you wouldn’t be spending so much time alienating those you are supposedly trying to save. Oh and save the “turn off your TV” cliche for your children. You are preaching to the choir Gary Rea.
Good Luck & God Bless.

The most kick-ass forces in the entire war were the French resistance fighters. They blew up more shit, gave more intel, got more tortured, and rescued more of OUR downed pilots and sailors than ten times their own numbers of any other guerrilla forces. They also ruled Europe for a few centuries. They are fine fighters and always have been. The whole “white flag waiving French” myth was a bunch of London disinfo…Tavistock pussies WISH they were half as on the ball as their French counterpart. FILE & CLAW is dead right.
The French don’t want to go overseas to fight because they are too busy fighting at home.
Now if they would just go out and kick the crap out of the welfare muslims that keep setting their cars on fire, they might really have something.
At least the frogs should turn over the jew Sarkozy to the angry arab youths if the kids promise to hightail back to the 3rd world shithole they have recreated in France…

i am a farmer in the USA. i am glad to see this. i have always believed the farmer’s are the backbone of a country and i have always believed they are under paid. 52,000 protesters? that’s impressive. i hope we don’t go thru this in the USA. because if we do i am going to town with my tractors Rambo style.

It just so happens I live in the Poitier region. This is the first I’ve heard about the protest. I’ve worked with these farmers in the fields. The French around here are probably unchanged since the revolution.
They are obsesed with land. You can see beautiful buildings falling to pieces because they will never sell. They are two faced, brutal, treat women worse than the arabs and they have all got guns. This region is known as France profound ( deep France) it’s like a time warp, nothing changes and thats the way they like it. I’m Irish and have traveled the world , living in many different cultures, but I have never suffered such abuse as I have here. They are just a touch sadistic and hard as the stone in this region. Having said all that I have a love, hate relationship with the French and wouldn’t live any where else, apart from Lebanon. They have taught me how to eat well, the wonders of the potage and many other great things. Viva la France

It is the agricultural subsidies which has created this crisis, since farmers are not convinced that they must leave the industry and get employment in another line of work. For many French farmers, the CAP alone, is a €30,000 per annum gravy train, for doing nothing. France cannot persist in being held to ransom by farmers, and must abandon all agricultural subsidies.

Free to dissent- It’s not just myself with this opinion. many French say the same. Your absolutely right about thier ability to work. I didn’t know what hard work was till I got here. They’ve certainly toughened me up and I’m better for it. Also people are incredible honest and shops close for lunch, leaving thier merchandise outside for two hours and nothing is touched. I’ve seen a women collapse in the field from exhaustion and was told by the ‘chef’ to just continue working, steping over thier body. Which of course I ‘disobeyed’, so before you air your opinion try working in the fields here. It’s like modern slavery. I have a right to my opinion through experience. On what basis is yours. Have you ever lived in France, worked in agriculture. If not shut up and get a life based on real (as oppossed to virtual reality through internet, tv etc.) experience. You don’t have to ‘like’ certain people in order to have admiration and respect for them on certain points.

@antiterrorist: Actually, yes I have lived in France. Tho I never worked on a farm. I had the opportunity to live in Provence and in Paris as well as Nice….. And you are correct. Larceny is not common among them. Tho historically, there was always an “underclass” in the large cities. Just like London. Child labor, licentiousness, and social depravity is clearly depicted in the Dickens novels. Victor Hugo clearly depicted the atrocious living conditions and social depravity in French cities as well. Of course this was all after “liberation” eh? All after the establishment of Parliament.
Why do you wish me to shut up? Can’t handle the Truth eh?
So as you continue to benefit from the 2hr lunch lifestyle, you continue to deride them for providing it for you. Bet you didn’t have that lifestyle in Ireland eh? Else you wold still be there.
hmpf…..2 hour lunch……..how dare they?

Dick Stallion- I am not sure I can take you seriously with a name like that. Once again that is my opinion. It doesn’t mean that people can not have a different opinion. I spent twenty years plus around the arab/ Islamic culture. Lived in many of the countrys, married an Iranian, converted to Islam etc. So I think I’m entitled to have an opinion.
I escaped from Bahrain by stealth and returned rather sharply to the Catholic faith. I have a great passion for the middle east and its people. Bahrain is a great country, a great pearl.

Free to dissent- dix pointe pour vous!!!!!! No I do not deride them for the two hour lunch, I love it. Just returned from a chat with the locals over a bottle of wine. They were rather pleased to hear that they have inspired the Americans. I told them what I had written and they were unphased because they know it is all true. By the way I’ve never lived in Ireland. I retract the ’shut up ‘bit due to the fact you have lived in France. Where are you now?
October 17th, 2009 at 1:37 pm
Interesting point is that many of the field labourers are giving up the work because they can’t tolerate the pesticdes being sprayed. So we have a situation where the crop can’t be harvested because the workers get sick!!!!!!!!!!
October 17th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
@antiterrorist: Well, you say you are Irish….that you have travelled all over the world…..yet you have never been to the land of your heritage?
I am in the USA, and as I am a retired old lady — too late to return to my beloved France. “Regrets I’ve had a few…” Poor French people if they do not rid themselves of Sarkozy, they are in for a very bad time. Peu importe……there is going to be no safe place on this blue planet. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, so we may as well stand our ground wherever we find ourselves.
I envision a very dark time for us all. Farmers, Amerikans, Frenchmen, Irishmen, Iranians, Euopeans too…..YES wait till the Lisbon Treaty hits you…..vive la difference, mais cela ne serviras a riens….nous sommes touts finis.
On a side note……you say the French farmers are hard, and slightly sadistic…..have you ever spent time in the US? I mean in the rural areas of the US? Here they would make those hard French farmers look like pussycats. Not that that’s a bad thing. They are the ones– if any….who might yet save us. Yes, and strange as it may seem, perhaps it is the same all over the world….they are “attached” to their land.
You seem to think that is a bad thing. Strange ideology you have.

In america you have 137 different ‘PEACE GROUPS,’ none of whom will even speak to each other. The last thing on the agenda would be to block passage into and out of Washington until the f****** pResident is forced to withdraw from the TWO illegal wars of occupation which are driven by an international property thieving class.
Let’s say Wall St. takes another 50% of the money from the Fed’s honey pot… and the cost of a home in Beverly Hills exceeds $100M. –what then? Are people not seeing that the entire thrust of government is a sham?
