Anti-gun ObamaCare bill Coming to the House Floor Very Soon

We have reached the point in the battle over ObamaCare which will decide whether we win or lose.
The details of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s bill are in, and they can be seen at http://docs.house.gov/rules/health/111_ahcaa.pdf .
The bill (H.R. 3962) is 1,990 pages long and weighs over 20 pounds. And even though a search of the bill will not reveal the word “gun” or “firearm,” that doesn’t mean the bill is neutral in regard to your Second Amendment rights.
For starters, this bill will — like all the ObamaCare versions before it — most likely result in all of your gun-related health data being dumped into a government database that was created in the stimulus bill. This includes any firearms-related information your doctor has gleaned… or any determination of PTSD, or something similar, that can preclude you from owning firearms.
The bill will also create special “wellness” programs in section 112 which would allow the government to offer lower premiums to employers who bribe their employees to live healthier lifestyles — and nothing within the bill would prohibit rabidly anti-gun HHS Secretary Sebelius from decreeing that “no guns” is somehow healthier.
The bill purports to cut Medicare by $500 billion — in a move which will result in massive rationing for seniors, while ultimately adding hundreds of billions of dollars to the deficit.
The bill will mandate that you purchase expensive government-approved policies and will (according to some studies) triple your insurance premiums through taxes and government requirements.
Of course, this all means that you will have less money to spend on pursuing your real passions — like providing for your family and purchasing guns and ammunition!

Dear Representative:
The Pelosi health care bill, sponsored by Rep. Dingell, has now been made public.

The only way Pelosi or the Congressional Budget Office can continue to pretend to the contrary is to take $247 billion in bill costs and slip them through in separate legislation.
In short, this process is fraudulent.
I have many issues with this legislation. And so I urge you to oppose this legislation and keep the government from inserting itself even more into my everyday life.

Pretty sad commentary coming from that website you linked! Unfortunately, they’re NOT dumb-asses in the genuine sense, they are badly mistaken and ill-informed ( not to mention that there are plenty of “rights-deniers” paid for by the Brady Center and Johns Hopkins Center ). I kind of like the firsters. It gives the rest of us something to hang our comments on, and kinda keep them toward the top.
Now, to the topic at hand, I find it funny, we told congress in no uncertain terms we didn’t want the bailout. So they passed the bailout, putting us all deeper in debt. We told congress in no uncertain terms that we don’t want the healthcare bill, so they’re going to pass it anyway, putting us yet deeper into debt this sound like a group of people, elected to serve the American people, who are doing their job?
If your answer is no, I ask you, what is the appropriate response when an employee goes against the bosses desires and performs actions that are detrimental to the organization? Fire ‘em, right?
I keep saying, on a state level, we must make a unified effort to fire the United States of America Corporation. We could try to fix it, but we’ve tried that before. You can’t get the people who pass the laws to pass laws that will limit their ability to rake in the cash. It just doesn’t work.
Fire the “federal government,” fire the fed, repudiate the debts they will undoubtedly claim the states now owe them (look up “onerous debt”), and start from scratch. There are over two centuries of mistakes we can learn from IF we should decide to created a very limited “federal” umbrella to help with coordination of the states.
But we urgently need to act, right now. The USACorp is getting ready to obligate us to a worldwide agreement that will be very difficult for the states to get out of.
This is more urgent than what’s happening on the TV, at the sports arena, even in Austin Texas. It’s even more important than pressing refresh on Infowars.com so you can post “first” on that new story that shows up.

Look at the byline and the 2nd sentence and you will see what I am talking about. There is some great stuff posted on this site but this article is not one of them. Trying to link the healthcare reform legislation to the 2nd amendment is a little too much of a stretch. Actually, I would have appreciated it if this article had referenced sections in the bill and specifically quoted those sections so that we could be MORE directly informed! This article was done rather hastily while leaving out some important parts to uphold its claims. NOT what I would call very good journalism!

I love my guns…i can hit an empty 12 guage shotgun cartridge at 110 yards using my 22 with iron sights.

Robert, it’s not when you consider the fact that they tried to include mandatory gun regulation in an obligatory “IRS” tax code revision, making it mandatory for every citizen to register and pay a registration fee for all handguns owned, thus giving a database of gun ownership. I’m not gonna worry about any of it. When the time comes,i’ll shoot and so will millions of others. Many people are being quiet but they are speaking loudly by what they are buying.People do not trust the government so they do not speak out.They do not even trust webpages that ask for memberships as they do not want to be on lists.When the time comes,if outright tyranny comes,billions of bullets will be put to good use.

Are there people that actually think it’s a good thing to give up their Second Amendment Right? That’s idiotic. If you give up one right, it sets a precedent for other amendment rights to be abolished. It’s only logical. I fail to see why people are even arguing on this point.
