Last week a new bill was introduced in the Senate to audit the Federal Reserve. Some backers of my bill HR1207 and the existing Senate companion bill S.604 were a little miffed at this, but depending on how you think about it, this new legislation poses no great threat to our efforts.

With the economy in shambles, people are looking for answers – not just because of lost savings on Wall Street, but because of lost houses on Main Street. Because of the many problems we face, the Federal Reserve and its powers over the economy have come under scrutiny. This translates into a lot of political pressure on Congress. With all the House Republicans signed on as co-sponsors and over half of the Democrats, HR 1207 has enormous bipartisan support. It would be disingenuous for Washington not to embrace the principles behind this bill after all the promises for transparency. How can one credibly argue for more transparency in government in one breath and defend the secrecy of the Federal Reserve in the next?
However, there is still very powerful resistance to the disclosures that HR 1207 would require and efforts to weaken it will continue to pop up before this issue is settled.
The good news is that Washington is responding and the Federal Reserve has become the issue. Concerned Americans need to keep the pressure on by continuing to define what we want, and what we do not want.
One major concern is that HR 1207 constitutes some kind of power grab for Congress. Congress would not do a better job dictating interest rates or managing money supply growth than the Federal Reserve does for exactly the same reasons: Congress is not the free market. Any select group of people, no matter how wise and educated, simply cannot replace the wisdom of the market. HR 1207 does not seek to replace the wisdom of the Fed with the wisdom of Congress. That would be a giant step backwards. HR 1207 simply asks for full disclosure, and I am agreeable to allowing for a reasonable lag time to calm the fears that Congress intends to dictate monetary policy.
What we do want, what we insist upon, is that no longer will decisions that carry so much economic weight be made in absolute secrecy. We want to know what arrangements the Fed makes with other governments and central banks. We want to know who is benefitting from the actions of the Fed and what deals are being made. The Fed is already reacting to pressure by scaling back its liquidity facilities and returning to more traditional monetary policy through direct asset purchases. With nearly $800 billion in mortgage-backed securities on its books already, $800 billion in Treasury securities, and no real limit to what the Fed can acquire, there is a tremendous opportunity for malfeasance. We need to know who the Fed deals with, what they buy, how much they spend, and who benefits. As good as any step towards Federal Reserve transparency is, anything less than full disclosure at this point is unacceptable.

You know , I’ve read ALOT about Ron Paul , I’ve seen video’s on how he Goes after Mainstream ‘ Business as Usual ‘ politics and he was my favorite candidate of all of them , Republican and Democrate during the 2008 Presidential Race.
Sure Ron Paul ‘ may ‘ be the Answer BUT you also have to Realize that even if he did become President in 2012 , he’s going to be among Crooks and Coruption and he Can’t do it alone !
Like Obama , Everyone was rallying around this Congressman in the 2008 Presisential Race to Fix the problems of not only the U.S. , but the World . But it was totaly IGNORE ( by the media and whom ever does the background checks ) to check into his background . There were vauge reports by the mainstream media that he was into doings as a congressman in Illinois that should have been persuded but weren’t . It’s all over the internet now that Obama ( a.k.a. Barry Soesoto ) isn’t even a Citizen of the U.S.!
When Obama was running and won the Congress Seat in Illinois , it was all over the media that Obama was the first KENYAN born to be elected as Congressman for the state of Illinois !
How could this and dozens of other discrimicies be ignored ? Because Obama was placed into office , not by the majority vote of the Citizens of the U.S. , but rather by a small , influential group of people who really run the world.

If an overwhelming majority of people voted for him then it would be difficult for the establishment to swing the results far enough to not put him in office. If they did it anyway then it would just make it that much more obvious to even more people how corrupt our system is. This would still be a win for our side because more people would realize the dire nature of the situation and what we are up against.
The mere act Paul of running and participating in the debates in the last campaign made a huge difference in the awareness of the general public as to what is really going on in our country. We now have his bills being heavily supported in congress where they used to basically get no attention. No matter how you look at it if he runs we will come out ahead.

Is there a power struggle between the Freemasons and the Jews that own the Federal Reserve? I’m not sure which secret cabal is worse or if they are even different.

I’ve wondered the same thing myself. I know it sounds pessimistic, but it’s like they are the master chess players who can anticipate many moves in advance, and at present it’s the Fed coming under predictable scrutiny, given all the arrogant ‘in-your-face’ behavior of the banksters. The Illuminati are users and abusers. They use people and institutions to suit their nefarious purposes, then just discard them like yesterday’s trash when their usefulness is done. Karl Marx’s term ‘useful idiots’ has been so appropriate over the years, in varying degrees, to ALL of us who’ve been subjects of the central banking authority.
You’re right about Ron Paul and JFK being in the thick of things(if you’re a politician in Washington you are by DEFINITION in the belly of the beast) and whose conscience got the better of them. The best thing we can do at this point is to eventually just unplug from a money game they will never relinquish. Way too much water under the bridge. It’s time to go back to square one. If you can find the wherewithall, get a little piece of land, build a place to live, grow food, dig a well, have some armaments(if you’re so inclined) and use only mediums of exchange with true value.

Ron Paul is not a Democrat. He will not be supported by the Republicans (again) so will not win the Republican nomination. His only chance is to run third party which means neither party will answer to him when it comes to passing legislation, or repealing legislation.
If he wins the election on a third party ticket, his only choice to run the nation would be by Executive Orders or by invoking the Patriot Act to rule as a dictator without consent of Congress.
He couldn’t repeal the Patriot Act because that’s all there is that would give him any power.
After all the crimes of Bush and Obama, I’d bet Ron Paul would be the one to get impeached (for some dumb ass reason) for trying to set the country right. A bipartisan impeachment where both parties gang up on him.
That is, of course assuming he’s not discovered to be a reptoid from the great storm of Jupiter and the space ship in his garage in Texas is believed to be an hydrogen fueled Concept Car.
Other than that, he couldn’t f*ck up the country any more than it already is.

i have got to say something here people. i really like Ron Paul, and still believe he is the best choice for president. but i am concerned here about his direct statement that he is not for resting the power of the fed and giving it to congress, that scares me a bit. i thought his and our goal was to do just that and put the power back to congress where the constitution says it is suppose to be. i know congress probably isn’t any better to dictate monetary policy, but at least there it is transparent, at least a whole lot better than the fed reserve. and i know that we have to maybe get this power out of the fed reserve’s hands a little at a time, but i say if that is your intention then let it be known that is what you want. don’t use the same Washington bullcrap as usual attitude of leading us for a while with one attitude then soften up your words with another. we are backing you Mr. Paul because we want honest patriots who speak their minds and follow thru. please don’t start leading us down a road that turns out to be the same old crap, get us a little ways there and then go back to business as usual. the fed reserve is an illegitamate controller of our monetary policy given by treasonist conspirators who should have been strung up. if you are going to fight the system that has gone awry then don’t go half way, let’s fight this thing to the end, do or die. remember many died before us to get us this great nation and many have died to keep it, i will give my life to keep it too.

i have read and re-read Mr. Paul’s statement, and i still can’t see why he is stating that he does not want to take the power away from the fed reserve and give it to congress, i think that is exactly what needs to be done. they are criminal in intent and have litterally bankrupted our great nation. how can we not want to get the power of the money back into the people’s hands. please help me to understand this people, wake up!!! or is it me that is asleep?

The 1207 bill will NEVER accomplish a real and truthful audit. It’s impossible. All they would have to do is cook the books. I have an urgent message for you, more important than any message you can hear. God is Holy and cannot accept sin(honor thy mother and father…, thou shall not kill, thou shall not commit adultery, thou shall not steal, thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor, thou shall not covet..etc…Exodus 20:12-17). Here are some verses that show examples of sin:

It is a horrible and terrible place of everlasting torment that people will go because of their sins.
“And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” Luke 16:22-24

But God has provided a way for each to escape the lake of fire. He sent his Son Jesus(God manifest in the flesh-1 Timothy 3:16) who was conceived by a virgin by the Holy Spirit of God,lived a sinless life, and suffered a horrible death/shed blood and rose again 3 days later to take the penalty of YOUR sins so you dont have to pay for them in hell for eternity! He loved you so much which is why he did it! He is the only one to have fufilled the law perfectly(sinless) and paid the price of the entire world’s sins so that man could be saved on the merits of His perfection(see Romans 5:19). All you must do to be saved is BELIEVE in Him(trust in Him to save you as a sinner). You must admit your lost sinful condition to Him/that you’re worthy of hell, and ask Him to save you by placing complete trust in Jesus ALONE for salvation(an example in the Word of someone doing this- “And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.” Luke 18:13).It is not even partly by yourselves that you can be saved, but only by the merits of Jesus Christ!

Read the Word of God(the 1611 King James version- NOT the modern versions, they are corrupt) before rejecting it! Death is fleeting. You may NOT have tomorrow! For death comes when we least expect it! Make sure you are saved TODAY! The Bible condemns the rich, the wealthy, and those who take advantage of the poor, so it CANNOT have been made up by the elite. Because the Word clearly CONDEMNS people such as those! It declares all mankind as sinners(myself included).

He’s not even ‘disinfo’, David Icke is total whackjob/retard info, at least that’s a proper way to see anyone who believes his crap. I Like Ron Paul a great deal, but I’m not sure he is strong enough to be president. Every time I see him in interviews where he has an opposition, he seems to let them walk all over him. You can see he is perturbed by their rudeness in talking over him, but he politely keeps his mouth shut, and the interview is over without him really getting his point across. I want him to tell these people; “Hey shut the fuck up I have the floor now” but of course he is far too classy to do that. It makes me angry for him, and also at him.
