Arizona Governor Calls For More Troops On The Border

(Phoenix, AZ)  –  Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has called on President Obama to send more National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border to boost security.

The request comes after continued drug violence by Mexican drug cartels close to the border and also after the death of an Arizona rancher, who was shot and killed by an alleged undocumented immigrant last week.

Brewer is asking for 250 more troops to head to the border to help the 150 troops currently on patrol.
