Arrogant Holdren Calls Outrage over his Writings “Just a Blip”

According to Newsweek editor Daniel Lyons, Obama science czar John P. Holdren described the outrage triggered by his writings on depopulation policies with the statement that it’s all “just a blip.”

In the article “An SOS for Science” for Newsweek, Lyons describes he attended a conference in Washington D.C. “that drew CEOs of Fortune 100 companies” in the company of “the top scientists in the field of alternative energy, including John Holdren, the director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, a.k.a. our national “science czar.”
After stating that “alternative energy is the next tidal wave in tech innovation”, the author expresses fears that “we’re doomed” if Holdren and company do not get their way. He states:
“It’s not because our scientists aren’t brilliant. They are. But look at what they’re up against: a noisy babble of morons and Luddites, the “Drill, baby, Drill” crowd, the birthers, and tea-party kooks who have done their best to derail health-care reform and will do the same to any kind of energy policy.”
Then he shifts gears to the “controversy” surrounding Holdren’s statements on coercive sterilization policies, falsely claiming that:
“In Holdren’s case the attacks began after TV madman Glenn Beck claimed Holdren advocates controlling population growth by putting sterilants in drinking water and forcing women to have abortions. No matter that the claims are not true (…)”
Aside from his statement that Glenn Beck is a madman, Lyons proves he is not only poorly informed and extremely gullible; he is also outright lying in the face of a well-documented fact. Beck only picked up on a news story put out by Zombie Time Blog, Prison Planet and Infowars.Com, quoting Holdren’s own words in the 1977 textbook “Ecoscience”. And the fact the author describes Holdren’s proposals for sterilizing the water supply and introduce coercive abortion policies as being “claims (that) are not true” is off course an outright lie. Lyons:
“The dopes howled for Holdren to resign. Holdren told me the controversy was no big deal, “just a blip.””
The online dictionary describes the meaning of “blip” in this context as “a temporary or insignificant phenomenon”. The extreme arrogance displayed by Holdren, it seems, knows no bounds. Instead of remaining silent on the matter, he chooses to dismiss it openly. It is not for nothing that Holdren confided to Daniel Lyons, who is no friend to liberty. In 2005, Lyons wrote for his former employer Forbes Magazine that online blogs are a serious threat and should be constrained lest liberty run free: “Web logs are the prized platform of an online lynch mob spouting liberty but spewing lies, libel and invective.” In the same article he stated that blogs: “(…) are the ultimate vehicles for brand-bashing, personal attacks, political extremism and smear campaigns.”
To lay any doubts to rest, here are the actual excerpts from “Ecoscience” once again (page 787/8):
“Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control. Indeed, this would pose some very difficult political, legal, and social questions, to say nothing of the technical problems. No such sterilant exists today, nor does one appear to be under development. To be acceptable, such a substance would have to meet some rather stiff requirements: it must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock.”
In regards to, among other things, involuntary abortion policies (page 786):
“One way to carry out this disapproval might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption—especially those born to minors, who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone. If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it. Adoption proceedings probably should remain more difficult for single people than for married couples, in recognition of the relative difficulty of raising children alone. It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society.”

Anyways, “just a blip”? So forced abortions, chemically sterilizing the population against their will, taking away children of single mothers, not even considering new born babies to be human and making us all live like slaves to the state all for “the greater good of the planet” is just a blip and no big deal? So if population reduction is “no big deal” why doesn’t Mr. Holdren show us how easy it is and lead by example?

Firstly, we have to realize that this comes from a textbook written decades ago, and it is highly theoretical. I believe he was just looking at all the solutions to overpopulation and such in a completely rational way. It may offend the morality of some people, even though these sorts of solutions have their own moral logic. What if overpopulation really did threaten to extinguish the flame of humanity in some Malthusian catastrophe? Would it be better to let all of us die rather than control population growth? I think anyone would agree that bottom-up solutions are best, but often the population can’t — or won’t — do what’s in its own interest, so then top-down solutions have to come into play. There is nothing at all wrong with examining all the possible outcomes and resolutions to a particular problem . . . .

Probably no rain forests either. If any of you dips---s think we can expand into space, you’ve been watching WAY too much Star Trek. Something will have to be done, along the lines of what China did decades ago, or we’re all gonna’ be dead and stinkin’ soon. It’s immoral as hell to bring more babies into this world, especially when so many already here need homes and parents.

Know what they said “oh, he was just the co-author and that was just a 70’s fad”. Word to the wise? Your family are the hardest ones to wake up. YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!! My family ONLY watches the mainstream news. I tried to talk to my mother and my aunt (her sister). Well, needless to say, I haven’t spoken to my mother in 5 months and she lives one town away (about 5 minutes). My mother’s mindset, “Well, there’s nothing you can do about it.” Her sister, Ms. Know It All, who gets all of her info. from her son,( Mr. Obamabot ) and I really got into it. She put her hand in my face and then “it was on”. Even showing proof of what’s REALLY going on she refused to believe and told me I was full of s---! I told her what she could do to herself. My mother continues to see her sister on a regular basis but wants nothing to do with me, as my brother told me. I am her only daughter, I have 3 brothers. She made her choice, her sister. I feel sorry for her (not guilty) but you can’t help someone who doesn’t want help. If my father was still alive, I can assure you he would want to know all that I could tell him. I wish he was still here.

Unfortunately, I’ve lived many years of my life in 3rd world sh*t holes. The one thing they have in common is that they are overpopulated. One needs water to survive and for basic hygeine, then food. Even the US is running out of water. It doesn’t matter how many people can fit in an area if they don’t have the water or food. That being said, his methods of sterilization thru water of a varying age, size and sex can no way be healthy. Is that why we are all getting fatter and more and more men with breasts? I think the real issue here, maybe is how does someone with these types of views get to a place of power. I mean too many people….so get rid of them? This isn’t about his economic beliefs or his stance on different political systems, he is saying get rid of people. I understand we all feel some people are too stupid to live but this is one of the President’s guys who says there are too many people. How does this country’s leadership allow a person like this even in D.C. let alone to “advise” our country’s leadership. Next we will read about the Czar who decides just which people are the “too many”.

We could set traps for stupid people. That would be a great eugenics experiment. I don’t mean hunt them down, just don’t put up all the warning signs or maybe leave some elevator doors open. We could up the IQ of the planet with some simple traps. If people get wise, we can just make them a little more elaborate.
For starters, just put a hole in a wall and a sign that says “Don’t put your hand in this hole” Then, the trap is set!

As the 21st century began, human evolution was at a turning point. How did this happen? Evolution does not necessarily reward intelligence. I’m currently enrolled in a community college, going for a technical program ( just tryin’ to learn some software, really) —taking a required “environmental science” course . We’re doing a section on population in which we basically watch a bunch of Rockefeller funded propaganda videos. It’s truly shocking how it’s being presented.I’ve spoken up a few times of course, but it simply doesn’t register with people.They honestly seem to have no problem with government proactively controlling population. Truly sad and scary, all tax-payer funded, of course.

I can’t say I disagree with population control completely. If you have the means to provide for a large family, I say go ahead, fine. But what I can’t understand is how people (had this argument before) support countries like Ethiopian women having 10 kids when they can’t even feed themselves. They argue that this is their “culture” and the males don’t feel “manly” enough unless they have large families. It is selfish and shows ignorance and arrogance. You have a responsibility to care for any child you bring into this world, if you fall short, do the world and especially that child a favor and wait. Quality of life is important to most. No one reading this would enjoy a life of poverty living in a mud hut with nothing, NO ONE, myself included. There is nothing wrong with PLANNING ahead, not everything is a crime against your precious bible or an evil scam from the eugenics masterminds. Sometimes they are just ideas that make sense when you lay it all out. But without fail some religious nut or power hungry elite twist any idea to something nefarious.
Please, Bible thumpers, quoting your favorite line from the bible about “go forth and .. blah blah blah”, no offense but it means nothing now, is was written for people of a different time and circumstance. You have to be in complete denial to think things never change and every word is absolute. God wants some to think critically, others can blindly follow.

Not to defend the “evil” factor here, but really isn’t that one of the roles of Government? If you see your population will soon outgrow your resources, a little planning makes sense doesn’t it? Not to the point of killing people outright, but encouraging or offering incentives doesn’t seem like the worst idea in the world to me.
What the hell does “God” have to do with is anyway? really?
Go forth and multiply and be plentiful … WE ARE … what happens when your are TOO plentiful, just ignore it and quote a bible phrase, pathetic. … But I guess if I don’t blindly follow your bible I’m “evil” or “lost”. You should keep praying, not for my enlightenment, but your own.

Well, It’s sad to say but Holdren is right to a certain extent of by saying “outrage” over his writings is just a blip. I have told my family members and other people about his writings and showed them all of the crazy things in his book. What surprised me is that they really didn’t care. I expected them to get mad or angry but instead they acted like it was a joke. The fact is Holdren knows how the majority of the population does not give a s---. He knows he can write books about how he wants to sterilize and kill everyone, and that no one will care. A lot of people even say that population control is a good idea that I’ve talked to. Believe it or not there are many “average” people out there that have a eugenicist outlook on life and they don’t even know it. They’ll say things like “well its good that poor people should be forced to get abortions because poor people have the most kids and pass on their bad “poor people genes”. You’ll be surprised how many average people have that attitude.

The world is not over populated but there has been extensive damage done to the earth by greedy corportists. The elitists think that if the earth is depopulated, then perhaps they and their offspring may survive. This is what Satan is leading the elite class to believe. Satan is not worried about misleading most people because he already has them under his control. (Ten Comandments). It is God’s true people who Satan is after and he is using the elite class to further his ends. Satan is the one who is behind our calaped economy. He thought that maybe he could slow down Gods true people from spreading the true religion. No offense, but you have no idea what God may or may not “want”. How about what’s best our planet? God gave us intelligence, maybe we could start using it instead of making up what we want by reading some book of stories that has nothing to do with it. Go ahead a quote something else from a book only you believe in. For every quote that is “for” whatever, I can give you one back that is “against”. I suppose this was “God’s will also”. Think for yourself. But like most things, there is some merit to the argument, but this is a case of taking it too far in my opinion.

In fact, I met someone who got a job with the secret service to becme a body guard for Ex president Ford. He got this gravy job by joining the local satanic group. So who do you really think is running this world?
