School Systems Deploy Latest Surveillance Technology
Baltimore-Area Schools Using Motion Detection Cameras

BALTIMORE -- Several school systems in the Baltimore area are embracing the latest in surveillance technology -- adding digital video cameras that can zoom-in, detect motion and see in the dark.
Anne Arundel, Carroll, and Howard counties have plans to expand use of the cameras. Baltimore city and county rely more on traditional camera systems, though they are experimenting with the new technology.
