Finland: City of Oulu testing mobile RFID applicationsFinland News | October 11, 2005 The Technical Research Centre of Finland VTT has developed applications for Nokia's phone models with RFID readers. The applications are being tested by city employees in Oulu. The aim of the mobile applications is to improve the efficiency of the daily tasks of employees who move from one location to another during the day. Reading RFID tags by mobile phone speeds up the use of the applications and makes it easier. The information can be transmitted in real time to the city's data systems. Last modified October 11, 2005
