Police used a Taser on Saturday to subdue a woman after an argument with a Charlotte-Mecklenburg patrol officer.
The incident reportedly happened around 5 p.m. at a Wal-Mart store in the 8100 block of South Tryon Street, near Interstate 485.
Police say they were responding to a call about a dispute outside the store. As police tried to restore order, a woman tried to assault an officer, and police used the Taser, they say. The woman, who was not identified, was taken into custody. --
