Police, Masons will sponsor free program to help ID kids
| May 20, 2005
Monticello police and the Monticello Masonic Lodge will hold a free child identification program from 9 a.m. to noon tomorrow at the Ted Stroebele Neighborhood Facility on Jefferson Street in Monticello. Adults must accompany all children.
Each child will be recorded on video tape and fingerprinted. A DNA sample will be taken. The video, prints and sample will be given to the adult who brings the child. The materials are meant to be kept by the child's parent or guardian in case the child is lost or abducted.
