Appearing on Fox News' Hannity and Colmes yesterday, Malik Shabazz, the attorney for the New Black Panther Party, reiterated that many 9/11 families are taking action against the government and the FAA for at the very least having foreknowledge of the attacks.
Shabazz, also the spokesman for the Black Lawyers For Justice group, appeared as a guest in order to defend Minnesota Democratic Congressman Keith Ellison who compared President Bush to Hitler in a recent speech at an atheists meeting in Minnesota.
Ellison, a black muslim convert and the first muslim Congressman, compared 9/11 to the destruction of the Reichstag, the German parliament, in 1933. The building was burned down by the Nazis and blamed on Communist infiltrators in order to justify Hitler's later seizure of emergency powers.
"It's almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that," Ellison said. "After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted"
Thus, as Shabazz attempted to point out over Hannity's perpetual whining and attempts to paint him up as a muslim radical, the comparison is valid as 9/11 has been utilized by the Bush administration to justify the passing of freedom stripping legislation such as the PATRIOT act as well as multiple subsequent bills including the John Warner Defense Authorization Act and the Military Commissions Act all of which have put the final jigsaw pieces in place to complete an infrastructure of dictatorship since 9/11.
All this without a mention of the fact that 9/11 has been used as a pretext for the invasion of two countries in the middle east so far.

Shabazz rightly stated that it is only down to hyper political correctness and rampant vested interests on behalf of the corporate media that such comparisons between Hitlerian fascism and the actions of the Neocon Whitehouse are not more readily drawn. "The comparison is not off limits, only because of propaganda that has made you afraid to make the comparison. The comparison is not off limits, and Bush may be worse." Shabazz added.
Shabazz described Hannity as being "on a sinking ship with George Bush" and declared "you are behind this war Hannity" all the while ignoring his pathetic attempts to draw him into a conversation about Jewish foreknowledge of 9/11 in order that he could play the anti-semite card, regardless of any facts surrounding that matter.
Alan Colmes then popped up and questioned whether Shabazz even knows Congressman Ellison at all. If there was any doubt or concern in their minds over this then why did H&C bother to have Shabazz on as a guest on the topic?
During his speech last week Congressman Ellison also stated that Vice-President Dick Cheney's recent stance of refusing to answer some questions from Congress was "the very definition of totalitarianism, authoritarianism and dictatorship".
Indeed, as we have recently reported, both Cheney and Bush have have casually declared their offices to be independent of the executive branch and completely autonomous . Bush and Cheney are vastly expanding Presidential power and creating provisions that set their offices up as dictatorial bodies in the event of any major incident.
With the latest National Intelligence Estimate warning of an increased possibility of terror attacks in the US and figureheads such as Michael Chertoff stating that he has a "gut feeling" there is going to be an attack this summer, these motions should be raising red flags.
Congressman Ellison went on to state that he would not accuse the Bush administration of planning 9/11 because "you know, that's how they put you in the nut-ball box - dismiss you".
