Bloomberg | August 16, 2005
Part of Toronto's subway system was closed by police today after a ``suspicious object'' was found at a station on the city's north-south line, the Toronto Transit Commission said in a statement sent on Canada NewsWire.
The subway was closed from Eglinton station to Yonge-Bloor station, the commission said in the statement. It affects six stops.
The statement didn't elaborate on the object that prompted the shutdown.
