Iran says it is willing to arm, train Iraqi military Iran offered on Monday to help train and arm Iraq's military during rare talks between Iran and the United States on the security situation in Iraq, the Iranian ambassador to Iraq said. "The Islamic Republic of Iran announced its willingness to provide all forms of support including co-operation and arming (the military) with weapons and training," Hassan Kazemi-Qomi told journalists after the meeting.
