So I’m listening to the podcast, and Alex is saying:

First of all, nobody with a lick of sense, certainly no one with any credibility in any public policy circles says carbon dioxide is poison or that the issue is remotely related to toxicity. If a caller says that, they must be one in a hundred, and retarded. They are certainly not a spokesman for the Global Warming side, and it weakens Alex’s legitimate points about sunspots and their very palpable link to earth temperature when he refers to that.

Does anybody else see why this tangent doesn’t belong in the discussion?
