Banks Hoard Cash as Credit Card Defaults Rise

Consumers are increasingly unable to pay off their credit cards, forcing banks to hoard cash to protect against future losses and lend to fewer people, according to reports yesterday from several of the nation’s largest banks.

These financial disclosures showed a spike in credit card loans going bad, putting further pressure on already-stressed balance sheets. J.P. Morgan Chase said the number of credit card loans in default rose 45 percent in the third quarter from the comparable period a year ago and predicted that default rates would sharply accelerate through 2009, with 7 percent of credit card loans going bad.
“We have to be prepared that it gets a lot worse,” J.P. Morgan chief executive Jamie Dimon said about the overall economic outlook.
Capital One, a credit card lender and bank based in McLean, announced rising default rates and delinquencies in its portfolio of credit cards and auto finance loans yesterday. The company said 6.34 percent of credit card loans went into default last month, up from 5.96 percent of loans in August. The company has said it expects default rates to rise to 7 percent next year.

The credit card companies are offering plenty of credit as long as they know you really do not need it. Does that make sense? If they know you earn well over six figures a year, have many assets and live in certain zip codes, and things are liquid and normal. This entire country runs on credit, so drying up access to it will have dire ramifications for the economy until people wake up and use cash.
People should use debit cards and low (as in very very low) interest cards wisely. Learn what it is to be a true Conservative. Never buy the Zero Percent offers… they bump to obscene rates in a very short period of time. Ultimately, this is still a credit driven society….but people are pulling back and putting holds on lots of spending… as if you didn’t know.

I stopped paying my credit cards and closed my bank accounts 6 months ago. What are they going to do ruin my “credit rating”? SO WHAT…pretty sure I wont be alone in that club. NO, I’ve been using the credit card money to buy survival equipment, food, weapons etc.
The funny thing is that now I’m getting offers from the credit card companies to settle for 1/2 of what I owe them. I say “Fuck Off and DIE Capital One, HSBC, BofA et. al”.

The Jehovah’s Witness “New World Translation” is a mess of modern day insertions and excerptions produced by by JESUITS and PROVEN FALSE PROPHETS just like all the other modern “versions”. I’m strictly King James 1611 or earlier versions as far as English Bibles go.
As far as guns go the states without confiscatiory or information gathering “gun control” laws in the 20th century tended NOT to have genocidal episodes in their 20th century histories while the ones that had such laws did. To me this is proof that “gun control” is at least a cigarettes to lung cancer level cause of genocide and a lack of “gun control” in fact prevents genocide by giving the ordinary people the ONLY thing the Illuminati ultimately understands, a level playing field in the area of FORCE!!!!
(I don’t count the 19th century genocides here because they largely delt with cultures like the Native Americans, Africans and Australian Aborigines who never developed firearms in their cultures and therefore never had than level playing field to start with. Actually when both sides did have firearms though the Native population actually tended to WIN genocidal encounters in the battlefield, Just ask General Custer when you make your journey to the next world.;c)
