Banksters Love Cap-and-Trade

The sweeping new bill which just passed the House last Friday, the Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, is ostensibly about climate change, but it is in fact a bill of staggering economic ramifications that is going to accelerate the takeover of the economy by the well-placed financiers who have already plundered the Treasury and the Fed of $12+ trillion and counting. It was rushed through the House in the tradition of such nightmarish legislation as the Patriot Act and the banker bailout of last October: hundreds of pages were added to it at the last minute and it was humanly impossible for anyone to have read it before they voted on it. This, of course, is exactly what Obama promised his administration would never allow to happen, and for good reason; bills passed in this manner are always the result of fear and panic and inevitably results in legislation that would never be passed upon sober second thought.

In this case, the rush to pass this new bill was an attempt to stop any scrutiny of a plan that is going to utterly transform the American economy, further centralize control of citizens’ lives in the hands of unaccountable federal bureaucrats and complete the transfer of the American economy from Main Street to Wall Street. And all of this in the name of fighting a threat which itself is a demonstrable fraud. In short, the banksters and bureaucrats are sharpening their knives, preparing to butcher what’s left of the carcass of the United States, and a good portion of the public are not only willing to allow it but are actually clamoring for it.
The first thing that needs to be understood about the brand new trillion dollar carbon-trading commodities market that will be brought into existence if this bill passes the Senate is that it is a ripoff designed by and for the very corporate interests the environmentalists claim to be fighting. For an historical precedent of what is being proposed under this cap-and-trade scam one can look to Enron, which immediately found ways to plunder billions of dollars from new energy market legislation passed by the Clinton Administration in 2000. They gave schemes for manipulating billions of dollars out of Californians funny little names like Death Star and even went so far as to rig up a completely fake trading floor in their offices in order to bamboozle investors who were interested in the company’s remarkable success. They got away with it because they were The Smartest Guys in the Room, much brighter than the government bureaucrats who were supposed to stop them from committing such blatant fraud (assuming the regulators weren’t simply paid to look the other way). And now supporters of this new bill are putting their blind faith in these same bureaucrats to regulate a scheme to create a vastly more complex market with hundreds of times as much money at stake. Is it any wonder Enron was a booster for cap-and-trade?
That the new carbon trading market can and will be manipulated by the very same financial oligarchs and government bureaucrats who have brought the world to the brink of economic Armageddon is laid bare in a must-read article by Matt Taibi in the latest issue of Rolling Stone. In “The Great Bubble Machine” Taibi meticulously documents how the amazingly well-connected Goldman Sachs has managed to manipulate and profit from every financial bubble since the Roaring Twenties and how they’re getting set to do it all over again with the creation of a carbon trading bubble:
“The bank owns a 10 percent stake in the Chicago Climate Exchange, where the carbon credits will be traded. Moreover, Goldman owns a minority stake in Blue Source LLC, a Utah-based firm that sells carbon credits of the type that will be in great demand if the bill passes. Nobel Prize winner Al Gore, who is intimately involved with the planning of cap-and-trade, started up a company called Generation Investment Management with three former bigwigs from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, David Blood, Mark Ferguson and Peter Harris. Their business? Investing in carbon offsets. There’s also a $500 million Green Growth Fund set up by a Goldmanite to invest in green-tech … the list goes on and on. Goldman is ahead of the headlines again, just waiting for someone to make it rain in the right spot.”

There are still those out there, however, who believe that this time it’s going to be different. This time the government is going to set up a new trillion dollar industry overnight, make sure it is regulated by angels of unquestionable integrity and goodwill, prevent it from being manipulated by big business, and create scores of new “green” jobs in the renewable energy industry (presumably to replace the hundreds of thousands of jobs that the economy is already hemorrhaging or the hundreds of thousands more that will be shed when these carbon taxes and penalties really ratchet up in the next decade). Well, let’s assume for a moment that we have crossed into just such a fantasy world. It still does not change the fact that the bill itself only offers phony solutions to a problem that doesn’t exist.

The phony solution is the “Clean Energy” part of the Clean Energy and Security Act. What feelgood platitudes about pumping billions of dollars into solar, wind and alternative energy projects obscure is that throwing money hand over fist at inherently flawed technologies will not actually make them work, nor will it make the money-hungry charlatans who promote them any more honest. Just ask Albert Lanier. He’s a freelance journalist who has been writing a series of articles about First Wind, a Massachusetts-based wind developer that is currently being investigated by the New York Attorney General’s office. In a recent interview with The Corbett Report he revealed how the Mafia has been linked to the Italian wind farm industry, which might say more about the industry than it does about the mob.
Of course, the entire idea of “cleaning” the atmosphere of carbon dioxide seems a bit ridiculous when you realize that by historical levels we are living in a CO2-starved environment, that global surface temperatures are dropping, that global ocean temperatures are dropping, that key proponents of the manmade global warming theory have been caught faking data to support their arguments, that Arctic sea ice is expanding, and that sea levels are not rising. But why let actual science get in the way of a good scare story, especially when that scare story can be used to create a new trillion dollar industry for the banksters?
For those who cannot be convinced to consider an issue until it affects them personally, rest assured this draconian new legislation will reach into every American citizen’s living room…literally. As Congressman Steve Scalise has already pointed out, this “climate bill” contains within it a new national building code that supersedes all existing state codes. If enacted, this legislation will create an entirely new class of federally-funded green brigades with the mandate to perform house-to-house inspections to look for violations of this new “green” building code. They would even be able to impose civil penalties for code violations (like having the wrong windows or lightbulbs). Watch Congressman Scalise’s comments in the player below:
This bill is not only unnecessary, it is dangerous. It is not only economically reckless, it is economically suicidal. It’s passage will be a particularly dark day in American legislative history, something almost unthinkable given the constitution-destroying atrocities passed during the Bush years. There is only one thing left for Americans to do: call their senators and let them know that it’s time to make a decision: vote against the Clean Energy & Security Act of 2009 or join the unemployment line come next election.

Hay Captain Trips, finally someone who understands what the landlords woud do in face of ANY viable challenge to their plans. They would, as you write, only threaten Martial Law if the sheep in Congress got out of line. The would, however, actually declare Martial Law if the people roe up. If you write them or call them, you get a form letter back stating what THEY think on the issue, what THEY think would be best for us, and how THEY would vote on the issue. I say we boycott the Alex Jones show until he clarifies or takes back what he said about gay couples adopting kids yesterday. That was something that I would expect from Mike Savage I thought Alex was more of a free thinker and believer in equality than that. I am so disapointed….anyone else? I think this was just a slimy attempt to pander to the religious bigots that tune into his show and/or provide funding, either way it was a disgusting and backward comment that shouldn’t be allowed to slide.

We’re looking towards a second vote on the Lisbon Treaty here: a lot of people are very skeptical thus far, but the main man/impetus behind the last no campaign has declared he will no longer contribute on the matter of Lisbon -the Irish contingent of the Libertas (European parlimentary) party were all but wiped out in recent elections. Nevertheless, it can be said that the kinds of legislative changes seen recently in the U.S. would simply not be tolerated in Ireland. Do U.S. citizens not get to vote on changes to, or that directly pertain to, their constitution?

When contacting our senators, we’ve got to let them know that we’re deadly serious about ruining their re-election chances if they choose to vote for this incredibly BAD piece of Al Gore-approved BS. I say it’s time to put all politeness aside and go straight for their pencil necked political throats. Auto-dialer phone machines are not expensive, and across the nation, average-income working folks can put these devices to good use to expose any traitor senators or congressmen that vote for this climate change tax scam at election time. This method has been used with success, and is a cost-effective way for us to get the word out to our communities and voting districts. I definitely will be doing this if my senators can’t find the courage to vote in my state’s best interests.

Prfft. We get this crap in Australia too. One ruling puppet head suggests some right stealing proposal, e.g Impose these same sort of rules you yanks are just now getting concerning water and power saving measures in your homes. It puts the price of building up by 35%. The opposition puppet party over here raised some objections to some parts of the legislation, then after some small changes that were hardly worth it, they stamped it through. I reckon that’s what’s going to happen with this bill.
Have a look at how bored and apathetic those senators are sitting around while this guy makes his speech. I bet Ancient Roman senators looked exactly the same during the principate, when they knew whatever the Emperor wanted he was gonna get. They still had to keep up the pretence of giving a shit though, appearing relevant to the mechanism of government, you know, attend the senate, make comments, vote. Sickening.

Please don’t forget about Cynthia Mckinney. She is right there with Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. The last of the REAL patriots. Yeah, she may seem crazy because of the way the mainstream media has presented her (=Rupert Murdoch=NWO=80%depopulation). BUT if you listen to the real Cynthia, via youtube posts of her actual speeches, you will find one of the last few American patriots. America is dieing. Cynthia is trying to stop the bleeding. She may not get everything right, but she is trying. There is a law about people who render first aid in an emergency situation. It is there to protect people who try to help from being sued when they make mistakes. She is a real good samaritan. I don’t believe in all of her views, but I do believe in HER. She is real. Unlike many of the CIA posters on this site. They are sold out. God knows what they are thinking. Maybe they are doing just fine on the Adderall they get from their MDs parading around as drug dealers ooops I mean therapists. i really enjoy the people that the show presents. there is very informative information on this program. what disappoints me is that so many people truly believe that alex is a man of principles and sacrificing for the greater good and sacrificing himself financially.
1. before alex was william cooper. and unlike alex HE PREDICTED 911. alex rode his coattails. how dare alex say he had the acumen to decipher the media and call that prediction.
2. several years back alex was invited to this christians home in texas who was having problems with the police wanting to raid his ranch. he interviewed this man because this man TRUSTED alex. alex allegedly then turned around and sold him down the river to ABC news( the interview) for like a pathetic few hundred dollars. Guaranteed, “Crap and Trade” will be the biggest swindle in the history of the world! Make the CDOs and CDSs look like kindergarten economics.
Your local utility cmpany will be forced to purchase “carbon credits” from a Wall Street brokerage firm, at the prevailing rate of the day. If for example, it is a hotter or colder season than normal in your area, your local utility is going to be paying much higher for the “carbon credits” ending in your monthly local utility bill being much higher. These are “futures” being “credits” placed 6,8,12 months or in advance. The prevailing caution will be to over buy “credits” in case of a overly severe winter or summer season driving prices higher, then when the “limit” is reached the prices will rise like a Titan rocket. Buy then the big Wall Street firms and the unregulated hedge funds lying offshore, will be betting the price will collapse, which it will, and your local utility will go bust.
In other words, hold on to your wallets! This is one big swindle ready to happen if allowed to pass the Senate.

What is the militia? The term “militia” consists of two parts: the organized militia and the unorganized militia. The mission and purpose of the militia have not changed. What has changed is the status of the organized militia. One HUGE issue should be looked at before any more bills are Passed by the senate. Is President Obama, actually a US citizen legally? He still hasn’t shown a Birth Certificate to show his citizenship. You may laugh but there has been talk since he’s been in office that he has 2 forms of Citizenship papers! So, what is he? Then you have to also ask yourself, IF he legally isn’t, then the Laws he passes, are they legal and binding too? Time we ask him to show his credentials before he passes legislation that effects all of us financially, and legally. He may laugh off those accusations, but in reality, is he American or where he grew up in another country? For Al Gore, We need to ask ourselves how much does he stand to make from all this green push, or Carbon Tax in other words they are Pushing so hard to pass? It has NOTHING to do with global warming. What about the Dust Bowl Days of the 30’s? Was that too, Global warming? Just another way to pass legislation to bring about another Tax to keep our dollars from buying us the American dream in this world anymore! Then, to know the debt wasn’t an absolute dollar amount, it was just a “Large Number” that sounded good to use to say how much we were in debt for, and then, Bankers seized up assets to cover there Butts. NOW we all have to pay off these Imagined dollar amounts, they Legally stole from you and me. Then to top it off, Tell us it’s NOT our right to know where those dollars went to? Knock on my door and ask where my guns are, and you’ll be looking down the barrel of one! Kennedy’s Death was the start of what we all are seeing happening in our world today. 9/11 was a False Flag operation. UNFORTUNATELY, there are many who have lost there lives to THEIR tyranny. When i hear the first firecracker this 4th Of July, I will imagine them responsible being put against a wall and shot for “High Treason”! Remembering what the Revolutionary war was truly all about. Our INDEPENDENCE Is worth Celebrating. If NOT remembering what the cause was for back in 1776. Time we set off our fireworks against This New World Order who are out to enslave us, the people again. than how come so many banks are failing… I was watching Jones film that he put out a couple of years ago about the goverment hoarding money and then claiming it is in a deficit not mentioning its surplus I forgot the title but you know what I mean……If that is true than how come the banks are failing now??? They don’t run all the banks man. The banks that are failing are ones they want to fail, banks they don’t control (yet). When these banks fail they buy them with your tax money (ba’al out) so they can have more control over more people which is their drug, control.
The ‘beauty’ of their plan was to collapse the economy so they can control the people and collapse the competition – the other banks.
They think they control everything that is good and everything that is bad according to their religion. Its partly true though because they have branching plans to capitalize on anything, whether they plan it or not. They don’t control everything but they try to plan so well that they can influence the outcomes of things, thats how a handful of people can have so much influence. They have a scatter gun mindset – they shoot lots of scenarios out there – and then control the media, government, economies, armies, etc so they get their desired outcome with everything they try, sometimes they fail, mostly they don’t.

Yet, the bankers do not own the sun. Nor do they own the galactic waves falling on our planet. Most of the energy on this planet is dues to solar energy. When plants grow they convert solar energy to nutrient matter that we can eat, and purify oxygen for us to breath. We return the favour by returning nitrates and carbon to the soil and carbon dioxide that plants need. We human are a balanced accounting equation in terms of god given solar units. Bankers by inserting a synthetic money supply hope to upset this balance in their favour. It is an attempt to place the value of investment risk above the value of human labour. This is why they hope to create , and have in the past, world slave labour… so that they can Reap what We sow.
And the planet slowly expands
My opinion is that Cap and Trade does not follow correct accounting practice.
Distorted methods will produce distorted results.
