This will end in tears. The Obama hysteria is not merely embarrassing to witness, it is itself contributory to the scale of the disaster that is coming. What we are experiencing, in the deepening days of a global depression, is the desperate suspension of disbelief by people of intelligence – la trahison des clercs – in a pathetic effort to hypnotise themselves into the delusion that it will be all right on the night. It will not be all right.

We have been here before. In the spring of 1997, to be precise, when a charismatic, young prime minister entered Downing Street, cheered by children bussed in for the occasion waving plastic Union Jacks. A very few of us at that time incurred searing reproaches for denouncing the Great Charlatan (as I have always denominated Tony Blair) and dissenting from the public hysteria. Three times a deluded Britain elected that transparent fraud. Yesterday, when national bankruptcy became a formal reality, we reaped the bitter harvest of the Blair/Brown imposture.
The burnt child, contrary to conventional wisdom, does not fear the fire. After the Blair experience there is no excuse for anybody in Britain falling for Obama. Yet today, in this country, even some of those who remained sane during the emotional spasm of the Diana aberration are pumping the air for Princess Barack. At a time of gross economic and geopolitical instability throughout the Western world, this is beyond irresponsibility.

It’s almost like a cult leder and his followers isn’t it? The day of the inauguration, I witnessed a woman and her teen daughter “praying” to Obama! Saying stuff like he is the light and the way and the “change” and will deliver us from all the perils this nation is facing. I asked them if they were praying to Jesus, and they said matter of factly “Yes, Obama IS Jesus. Obama is Jesus returned, and he will repair this world and all that believe in him. OMFG!!! He is not the “Messiah” he is not going to look out for people nearly as much as they seem to believe. When the new car smell wears off, and all the novelty is gone, he will be a politician. Tell ya things to get elected, and then deliver half or less of what was said would happen. He is not ABE LINCOLN as he likes to think he is, he is not Jesus as many would like to have you believe, and he is not the first African American President. He is a mulatto, I.E Half white too. He could just as easily be called the “Darkest president with 50% white blood” as he could be called the first African American prez. Obama is only a man people, as all cult leaders are. Brace yourself..when it comes time to drink the Kool-aid, try not to shit yourself..hey we got duped! PT Barnum was right!

#6 I agree.. and what was one of the very first things Hitler did? He disarmed the people, ” for their own good, and the good of the nation”. This made it very ridiculously easy for him to take off his “Good Shepherd suit” and show what was underneath, a wolf wanton with lust to prey upon the sheep he was “looking out for”. So when Obama proclaims, we must disarm for the good of the nation, don’t do it. Don’t capitulate like the Germans did. You may have to hide the fact that you still have a gun or guns, but it will be your only defense. The common thing that Hitler, Obama and cult leaders have? They all claim that they are looking out for your best interest, and when they ask you to give up rights, It will be ” for your own good.” Don’t believe it. I’d rather go out with a fight if I gotta go out, rather than go out due to lies and deception.

Again this site fits the category of a lunatic express line. What do you people want? Your job is to critisize critisize critisize while offering no solution or alternative to what we have. I mean what is your job? to ride on a bus that is supposedly headed over the cliff without making an effort or alerting the passengers to eminent danger? Who do you suggest to take over the corridors of power? and please don’t suggest Ron Paul because his ideas are way out there and would make the US vulnerable to economic and military catastrophe. I will make my case for that observation. First, America cannot withdraw from its role as the global policeman…the US is still by far the most just nation and best governed nation on earth. And so America needs to use it prosperity and power to advance the cause of freedom. Second, Ron Paul talks about abolishing the IRS and the Fed Reserve, only people with very simple shallow minds can buy this garbage. With an economy the size of the US’s there is definately need for a monetary and fiscal policy modeled on the fed to standardize and regulate financial transactions nationwide and in the case of the US worldwide. Moreover, people have to pay taxes, I doesn’t matter what you people think about income tax but the IRS is a necessary evil so as to collect taxes and make it possible for government to plan long term developments like the Interstate highway system. Third, deport all illegals and build a fence..what garbage is all this about. Every person with half a brain knows that America is the most technologically advanced nation because the US attracts the best brains and workers to come and work in America and pay taxes. Trust me if this country was to be left to half brains like you people, I’m afraid in 50 years there will be no US just a bunch of criminals masquerading as freedom fighters like the confederate failure of the 19th century. While you idiots see America as declining and possibly the worst place on earth, new immigrants see this great nation as paradise on earth and these are the people given the opportunity who will advance the uniqueness of this nation as the freest most prosperous nation on earth. If you guys don’t like what you see and all you can give us is Ron Paul, then I’m afraid you’ll be very disappointed and bitter because your lunatic suggestions will never see the light of day. I agree with this article whole heartedly, we as Americans have become so distracted by BS that we have just become imune to it and for that we should be ashamed. It is up to us as Americans to come together as Americans, with one voice, let us come together on what we do agree on and leave what we don’t for after, but for the sake of our country we need to come together before these crooks completely re write our history.

I agree that there is something strange about a man who is visibly sitting down signing to dismantle the Bush policies that were made aware to the public and righting the wrong for everyone to see that he is here to save the day. He appears young, dynamic, positive, charismatic. All the things that Bush needed to carry on with his agenda – but carried on his agenda forcefully anyway against public opposition. There is Obama smiling and the nation “crouds of adoring fans” smiling which depicts the most obvious “change” as the new face in the White House. However, standing behind him: vice pres, cabinet members – are the same devils who helped destroy the economy, thrust us into a war, and stole trillions of tax payer dollars from us. How blind can everyone be? I know people who only voted for Obama because he was black and for that reason only. Have they looked at this heritage? He is in the elite bloodlne.

Correct me if I’m wrong..Isn’t Barack Obama pushing to get legislation through that will mandate hospitals to provide women with abortions on demand? Even religious hospitals which do not support abortion will supposedly be forced to follow this legislation if it gets through. And this guy claims that Jesus Christ is a part of his life. Can we see the contradiction here? What’ll be next..euthansia for the sick, the mentally challanged, and the elderly?
Marcus, as to your comment that this website is composed of only people who curse the darkness yet offer no source of light, I would respectively submit to you that to a certain degree that is true. Hey, bro, we all get frustrated from time to time and feel our powerlessness, and please don’t misunderstand me that I’m trying to play the sentimental card here. This “cursing the darkness” goes with the territory of our being imperfect, and I’m sure we’ve all experienced the “ain’t it awful?” syndrome. “What do you do, do, do?”, as the famous comedian Joan Worley would put it, and I’m sure that phrase (sans the extra 2 “do’s”) has echoed down through the centuries. What DO we do! I would submit to you that Alex, Ron, and many others ARE doing things and taking steps to make this country a better one. Sure, one may not agree with all of their ideas, that’s quite natural, and we wouldn’t be human otherwise. However, they and the people who ascribe to this website are at least trying to do SOMETHING.
One thing we Joe 6-Packs and Jane Averages might “do” is to take peaceful action. The pen is still mightier than the sword, so let’s all of us put that pen to paper. Mr. Obama and his cabinet can be written to. The phrase “Each one teach one.” comes to mind, i.e., that if enough decent people start to communicate with elected officials and with one another, maybe we can make some progress. Forget about the aggressive tactics; that’s just playing in the demons’ ballpark, and in a sense that’s probably what they want anyway: let’s keep the blood shedding to blind us to the issue at hand, and the issue is that America is quickly becoming a moral toilet.
One thing about the pro-choice argument that has always amazed me is some (not all, thank God)
women’s assertion that they have the right to use “their” bodies as they see fit, and I wonder how one may think they “own” something they didn’t create! Well, if one is an outright unbeliever in God, then what may be said? However, if one does suspect that God exists, then how can anyone claim that their body is theirs! In fact, it’s owned by the One who created it, and I hardly think that God (by whatever Name you wish to ascribe to Him or Her) would give the green light to such a heinous act, fueled by the false conception of “mine” attached to it.
Perhaps when we as a race of people (human of course) wake up to the fact that God has given us things (as well as our bodies) for stewardship, not ownership, then good events will start to unfold, and all these so-called “problems” will start to disappear with little intervention, if any, on our parts.
You see, it’s really not a matter of economics or leveling the playing field – much as it’s about starting to live decent lives and setting proper examples for our children. That is the hope I see for America – nay, the world.

I heard this OAF Jordan Maxwell speak about how he has read the bible and several hundred other books and the several hundred other books convinced him that the bible just can’t be true, until he judges all other books against the truth of the bible he will continually be in darkness. Tunnel vision can be associated with truth because only one story out of thousands is true. whatever story the bible tells I count it as truth and every thing else I read or hear I compare it to the truth I find in the bible, If God says that the world was flooded and only 8 people on an ark survived with all the animals 2 by 2 then thats what I believe and I don’t think it is so far fetched I don’t claim to think I know more than God. And I’m tired of heearing from people who think they do. Narrow is the path and narrow is the gate that leads to life and few there be that find it- Truly it is a narrow path there is no room to chase rabbit trails and carve out your own way. and believe me there are fewer and fewer finding it. Putting all your easter eggs in one bible basket is dangerous, and people have been doing that for 2000 years, and look where it has gotten us. Even in your bible, it says you must not create graven images or worship idols. This whole idea of sitting around doing nothing because “Jesus will save us” has proven dangerous throughout history, it gives evil free reign to run amuck!
Jesus never came here to save you, he never came here to say he was above you, or that you should worship him..he came here to show you that you are a creation of God, with all of Gods qualities, and YOU MUST TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE, YOUR WORLD, YOUR BEING. In the end you will be judged not on your words but your actions. If you sit by and do nothing than what will you be judged upon. We have to stand up in the face of all corruption, it is our duty. God did not do this to us, we did this to us. We Americans and Earthlings have screwed everything up. FACT: People as a whole do not know whats going on in the world around them. Four years ago when I was ” woke up ” with the help of a movie called Loose Change 2nd. edition I started to do my own investigating into what I heard. At first I couldn’t believe what I was finding out about my own government. I couldn’t believe it because I couldn’t face the facts. You could almost say that I was in shock. Just about everything I thought that I knew was a lie. It took a long time for me to come to terms with it. But I did. I couldn’t deny the evidence that was right in front of my face. NO….. 2+2=4 not 5. I don’t care what you say….it’s 4…..I know it is.
ever since I got the facts for myself I haven’t kept it a secret. I try to always point things out to the people I know in regards to the one sided information there getting. Such things as troops on the street. When North-com started there deployment no one believed me. Then we started to see troops in the back ground on the news. So I would point it out and say ” look..see the troops I told you about..There trying to get you acclimated to seeing them so that its a normal thing to see.”
Now there telling people about whats going on. Now I have people come up to me and ask me if I knew this or that about whats going on. People are turning to the net to get there news now. It took four years of me flapping my jaw but now there are people around me that know the truth. Now I’m not alone. But I think they still call me crazy. But now its with a smile. Because there crazy now as well. NOT.
All I’m saying is don’t stop talking about whats going on if that’s all you can do. I cant afford to print up flayers to post all over town or anything like that. I have a hard enough time putting food on the table. But what I can do is NOT shut up about the truths that I know. And I hope that you don’t either.

Marcus #10, perhaps the reason why we seem to “criticize” all the time, is that we are quite aware the so called “bus is heading for a cliff”. Yes we are sounding the alarm. Many of us are acting too, but you won’t see that on CNN or Fox. They only report things as they see fit, so they lie by omission. For example, how often do you hear them report on guns? When they do report on guns, what is the jist of the report? Yup. Guns are BAAAD. Some nut shot up a mall etc. Now, when a peaceful citizen who is the victim of a home invasion shoots and kills or using a gun otherwise averts there wife or daughter being raped, etc, they don’t report that. Not unless of course the victim is one of the elite. My point is that it is the same way with many things in this country. They only report what they want you to hear, and they only report with a bias ( example only stories where there was a mad gunman, not stories where a gun saved a life). …
Solutions? Well to start out with the American people are simply sick and tired of being robbed. Tired of taxes going to pay for $200,000 dollar dinners or expensive trips or just given away to lobbyist and banks that don’t deserve them. We are tired of two sets of rules, one for us, and one for the elitest. Tired of taxes not going where WE THE PEOPLE want them to go, but instead being used to line the pockets of the already rich.

Your post reminded me of an old saying I heard somewhere. “Some people make things happen, some people watch things happen, and some people wonder what happened.” I understand your frustration, and I think there are far too many people who fall into the last category. I know quite a few reasonably intelligent people who are clueless about how we got into this mess or more importantly, how we get ourselves out. Much like Coyote (comment #34) we need to take it upon ourselves to educate those around us and help them become more aware and active and less apathetic and distracted.
Oh and BTW, as much as Marcus (comment #10) may disagree, the Federal Reserve is undeniably the reason for this collapse.
