They have several full blown reeducation centers run by the US in Iraq. They round up everyone from boys to old men and give them their approved “moderate” version of Islam to learn. And they keep them there until they learn, be it 6 months, 1 year, 5 years.
There was a big article on this in the news probably 6 months ago. I will do some digging to find it. They were huge camps, lights on 24/7, surrounded by barbed wire and armed guards.

I am living in Shanghai, and there are some really strange things being announced and happening here…
First: The Super Corrupt National Police issued a statement saying that anyone who reports a crime depending on what it is, will receive a reward of 5,000RMB to 300,000RMB.
Second: The Chinese government has announced that it will now allow Police officers to carry. (China is one of the words last remaining countries that doesn’t allow police to carry firearms.)
Third: China is requiring RFID clips for all pets leaving the country with their owners. Next Year they will start requiring children who are going overseas with their parents, on the pretext of keeping them safe. They then eventually plan to do this to all Chinese going overseas.
Fourth: They are changing F visa registration for foreigners. Before once we settled into our residences we were to register with the police department. However it is now being changed so that we have to go and check in monthly, they say that this is due to Shanghai Expo 2010 (The expo has the tagline “Better City, Better Life…)
There is more, I have called into the show before and when I have the chance I will call in again.
