Federal Reserve chair utilizes financial terrorism while rebuking attempt by Ron Paul, Congress to hold the independent organization accountable
Aaron Dykes
Infowars
June 26, 2009
Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke unleashed an alarming veiled threat of financial terrorism when he was questioned by Rep. Duncan on Thursday about his response to the fact that a majority of Congress co-sponsoring Ron Paul’s H.R. 1207 bill to audit the Federal Reserve.
Bernanke clearly regarded the bill’s intent as hostile to the institution he represents:
"My concern about the legislation is that if the GAO is auditing not only the operational aspects of the programs and the details of the programs but making judgments about our policy decisions would effectively be a takeover of policy by the Congress and a repudiation of the Federal Reserve would be highly destructive to the stability of the financial system, the Dollar and our national economic situation."
The brunt of Bernanke’s statement is as crystal clear as a threat from a common street thug– back off from the Fed, or the economy gets it.The chairman clearly implies that any attempt to restore monetary powers constitutionally granted to the Congress would be seen as a "takeover" and that the defensive and "repudiated" Fed would respond destructively.
Of course Congress’ constitutional power over money is enumerated in Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution:
The Congress shall have power… To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures;
Bernanke’s open use of financial terrorism in the face of Congress’ blatant Constitutional authority is absurd and dispicable.
Greenspan, Bernanke and other Fed-related cronies have already bad-mouthed the Dollar and signaled it’s decline as the world’s currency. So what else is new?

Yeah, we could end up living in a world where banksters extort money from taxpayers under the guise of saving the economy. Maybe we should slave away our lives to repay the money they lent us that we just gave to them. That seems like a fair and equitable financial system to me. Lets call it free-market capitalism. Doesn’t really have anything to do with free markets, but adding that bit sure does makes capitalism sound better.

OK, so we audit the Fed and find out they’re a bunch of crooks. Then what?
The banksters stuff the coffers of crooked corps who in turn stuff the coffers of crooked political parties. And we all know that if you’re not a Democan or Republicrat you have no future in politics. So let me rephrase the question: Who’s going to end their political career by doing something about it?
If Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich leave their parties and run together for president in 2012, then I’ll believe there’s a slim chance we’ll get some real change. Until then it all just sounds like more of “the same ol’ boolshiat we can believe in” to me.

It sounds like intentional double talk. The repudiation of the federal Reserve could mean either:
The Repudiation of The Fed policy by congress, or
The Repudiation of the Fed towards the judgement of congress.(repercussions)
It sounds like he really means the latter. which is like the author of the article states (back off or we will use our unmitigated power to make you sorry)
Congress has every right to do this. Especially against a private organization which controls the nations monetary policy. We cannot give up now. It will get worse, but remember. “It’s always darkest before the dawn”

Are you asking why AJ used the words ,”god damn” on his show or am I reading something into your question that is not exactly what you mean.
No person can answer for AJ but AJ but I will take the liberty to express some thoughts.
I suppose that you are a “professing Christian” and that some language offends you and that is your right[to have your own opinions and feelings]. The name of god is not god so to use those words is not the sin of,”taking the lord’s name in vain” One has got to know the name of his god before he can “take it in vain” Even professing Christians argue as to just exactly what the name of their god is and even some denominations base their denomination on what they believe is that “name” When a woman gets married, she takes the husband’s name. Unfaithful or insincere wives take the name in vain because the vows were not sincere. When you became a Christian you should have taken the name of the “bride-groom” and if the knowlege of his name was not in your mind and a committment to be faitful and true to that name was not in your mind/heart then you took the name in vain. There is a name that is above every name that is in heaven and earth and it ain’t the three lettered word god because that word is not a name. My bible teaches me that god has already damned saten. Is it wrong to be in agreement with his chosen plan, a plan that does involve the damnation of some things?

I wish the congress would wake up and do exactly as they say. Audit the smug fools and issue our own currency once more. Imagine, If the US government would issue a new US dollar. Loan to everyone in the country that owes money. The interest alone would pay off the entire American government Debt and we would be among the richest country in the world again. All the intrest that goes to the Fed today would go to pay our debt. What is the interest on our debt today? Billions and Billions a year.
Tell the Fed to F$$$$$ themselves and lets get on with it

Bernanke is a jerk! The U.S. economic markets and banks did just fine before the founding of the Federal Reserve in 1913 (with the possible exception of a recession during the 1870’s although the U.S. GDP and job growth did increase during this period).
If we can’t abolish it, then it should be audited so that the American public can determine if there are any irregularities. We should not trust the word of anyone trying to blackmail the United States with mumbo-jumbo. An audit will not cause an economic problem IF THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE! Where’s the transparency we were promised?
June 26th, 2009 at 12:05 am
Bernanke is going to have much bigger worries soon… IE: like a collapsing Dollar… AND THAT’S A SLAM DUNK!.
freeyourmind Reply:
June 26th, 2009 at 9:47 am
not really. He and that puppet from the Treasury are basically for the idea of a new fiat currency.. The Amero. Bernanke doesn’t care about the collapse of the currency.. Because the fed helped orchestrate that demise.
But my question to Bernanke would be… “If you’ve been truthful and honest about the activities of the fed, what is the reasoning behind the fear of an audit? Clearly if you have nothing to hide, you would welcome an audit. And how is the gov’t executing it’s right, as given by the constitution and the founding fathers to issue and control the currency a “take over” when the federal reserve has no right by the constitution to handle the currency of the country?”
The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 is a shame. The gov’t has no right to issue authority of the currency to someone or something else. Only congress and congress alone can issue currency. There’s no clause in the constitution saying the gov’t can “give away” it’s authority. In fact the the gov’t has NO authority to give away its responsibilities. People need to protest this fiat currency, protest its debt and refuse to take responsibility for said debt. The longer we acknowledge the existence of this debt, the longer we are a slave to it. We the people did not create this debt. Therefore, why should we be responsible for it? The debt is as phony as the “thin air” currency the fed creates.

Bernake is partially correct, unless Congress ALSO enacts legislation funding the study and program implementation for a REPLACEMENT of the current system with modernized tax code (no tax on mineral based currency gains), and reduced expenditures.
We must pay heed to Ronald Reagan’s words to support our congressional representatives “even if they agree with you’, … ‘ write to them and DEMAND fiscal responsibility” …”so they will have your letters to use as ammunition on the house floor” (or words to that effect).

Isn’t it ironic that Obama is one of the strongest supporters of eugenics today being that most black folks view him as their friend or even savior. Many wishy-washy black folks that have always been staunchly against abortion are now finding reasons to agree with Obama’s pro-abortion beliefs just because he is the first “black” president. To Obama, financial responsibility is getting rid of some of those little black mouths that will have to be fed, clothed, housed, and medicated. Abortions in the black society will greatly increase because so many blacks will just blindly go along with their savior where in the past many of them would never have submitted to abortion because many of them held some moral leader in high esteem and would follow his or her teachings but now everything is second to Obama’s ways.

The mood of everyone sounds pretty angry. Rome is burning to the ground all around us, but is there a violin player (leader) watching all this happen and not concerned?
Can there be a financial solution to this, a constitutional solution, or do the people have the will (guts) to rise up and take control of the government again? What would be the end game if the people rose up?
However, there is another solution that has been successful for many years to change and correct economies – War! Is there a big war in our future?

Aren’t fear and indifference mutually exclusive? I would say that the level of irony incorporated into the fact that the very thing people fear is the same thing that they are able to be indifferent towards is cosmic in scale.
Isn’t there a saying about being divided in mind?

I am taking a masters degree level class. The class is mostly made up of teachers. I started talking about the Federal Reserve and NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON had any idea what I was talking about. Our educators are alarmingly ignorant. State Universities are cranking teachers out like a factory. If you are a good worker bee and do all of your assignments you will be a teacher. The teacher test should require a current events examination and a critical thinking section. If I can afford it, my kids will be home schooled.
June 26th, 2009 at 9:02 am
Aaron Russo had it right… The Fed is crying like a dog pinned on its back when it misbehaves and it’s going to say and do anything it can when facing abolition.
The damage to the economy is done in my opinion and the ill intentions of the Federal Reserve Bank can ONLY make and keep things worse. Like opening a wound over and over. Things are going to get worse before they get better, granted, but we have the opportunity now to remove the infection and to allow healing.

This amounts to an admittance of guilt. It’s simple – understand the implications of the statement. If Congress really knew the facts of what an audit would disclose, there WOULD be An immediate takeover. Do it! The economy has already tanked – a total crash would amount to little change from what we are already seeing so what would be the difference? I know that MY confidence in the system would be revived. Recovery time would certainly not be the currently projected period as THEY admit. It’s an empty threat at this point…
June 26th, 2009 at 9:24 am
Congress take over the Federal Reserve? lol Well, nice admission that Congress (or Federal government) has no over sight of the Federal Reserve. Bernanke’s comment didn’t help him any at all. Basically what he just said was, it would be a take over by an elected body of the Federal Reserve. Well, duh, that’s the goal stupid.

Some truth in the fact if Congress gets control, then all the corrupt politicians WILL INDEED steal everything in sight.
But also, if a true, complete and honest audit is done, the American people will then see how horribly bad off we are on the balance sheet side.

It’s OK man. You and your friends are just crooks and you need to be brought to justice. Sure, YOUR world will come crashing down, but THE world won’t come crashing down.
I suspect that nearly everyone who has ever done time for dealing the drugs and money your associates run and you launder will agree with this little bit of advice.

These politicians love to ask questions like they really care. But in reality it was just to put the subject on the table to scare the public.
Otherwise, the politician would have asked counter questions.
The Fact is that the FED caused all this financial trouble and we deserve the right to find out what happened and to make sure it does not happen again.
The very idea that a house of cards would fall apart if we look at the inside is absurd.
This to me is an admission that the house is not really stabile and a red flag goes up when someone says anything other than “no problem, I am sure you will find everything in order.”
Instead to admit everything is not in order and we should not worry about the fundamentals of stability is the sign to audit them because they are not working for us anymore.
Bad response Bernanke, and keep on flipping the bird to us, because we become more powerful with every resistance.
Don’t be fooled by Sen. Duncan, unless he is one of the 2 signed on for the audit bill, this is just the standard illusion.
We saw this before TAARP, and then they voted opposite of what they promised us through e-mails.

This video makes me laugh. The fact that he truly believes that he is above the Constitution and that he THINKS the FED is transparent just shows how far gone his mind is. I mean how could anyone in America think the FED should even exist, let alone have ANY SHRED of secrecy on its policies. Like they are so smart that Congress would disrupt their operations. Overthrow the U.S. Government?
Why, just saying so is an illegal act. Some would dare call it treason or sedition.
The problem with overthrowing the government is that the U.S. Government has in fact already been overthrown by the banksters and their nameless faceless owners. That single fact is at the root of virtually every major problem we face.
No, we do NOT need to overthrow the government, nor do we want to. What we want and need to do is to simply TAKE OUR GOVERNMENT BACK, and there is nothing at all illegal about saying or doing that. In fact, it is our legal and moral DUTY, to ourselves, our descendants, and the rest of humanity to do so.
It is NOT treason or sedition to take our government back from criminal usurpers, it is the highest duty we have as Citizens and as free and sovereign human beings. Of course, that will never stop the criminals from accusing us of what they themselves are guilty of.
June 26th, 2009 at 10:46 am
The Constitution says that all powers not explicitly granted to the government remain with The People, or the States.
While Congress has indeed been given the power to coin money and to regulate the value thereof, nowhere is it given the power to delegate that power in turn to a private entity, particularly when that entity is international and foreign.
As such, the Federal Reserve usurping the TRUE U.S. Dollar, which is gold and silver coin, or paper money redeemable in gold and silver coin, and replacing it with Federal Reserve Notes denominated IN U.S. Dollars, but backed by nothing is a clear and blatantly unconstitutional act.
All Congress need do is order the U.S. Treasury to begin again to issue REAL U.S. Dollars to compete with Federal Reserve Notes, and watch the Federal Reserve wither away. Given the choice, who would choose privately issued fiat currency over gold and silver backed genuine U.S. Dollars?
Rather than seize all the gold and silver held by private individuals, all gold and silver held by the large banks, and corporations should be seized. All gold, silver, and copper mining operations above a certain size should be nationalized and placed under military guard, in order to guarantee that the gold and silver already stolen from us, and which we may never recover, can be eventually be replaced and used as the basis on which to re-establish a legitimate, viable, and constitutional money system.
The members of the Federal Reserve System should be immediately arrested and put under indefinite detention, at hard labor, until they cooperate to verifiably recover all the gold and silver stolen from us. If they refuse to do so, they would be assured that they will spend the rest of their miserable lives, under military guard, deep inside hard rock mines, digging for gold and silver with picks and shovels to replace what they have stolen, never to see the light of day again.
Nothing would scare these guys more than the prospect of hard manual labor.

Bernanke is bluffing. What he doesn’t know, or maybe others don’t want
to know, is that the Federal Reserve Bank is a private owned bank which
runs the dollar worldwide.
The moment Congress would take over the Federal Reserve, its over for
these Banksters gangsters, as their only weapon IS the dollar. There
are today plenty independent researchers who know what is wrong with
the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve has always been backed by the
so-called hidden hand, the shadow government, but today, with many well
informed people all across the world, the power of this is marginalized
as well.
The only thing which is important to remind is, that all through
history the money changers have been working behind these scenes
to create their monopoly in gold.
June 26th, 2009 at 12:23 pm

We need to Dissolve the Federal Reserve. Permanently!!!!
We need Congress to Print the Money as it is supposed to do. We need a Bank of the United States that is controlled by the Congress not a organization of banks controlled by the elite and NWO. We once has such a bank.
We need to get rid of the credit score system. We need to forgive all Americans of outstanding debt including taxes at this very moment and at least one time every 10 years. ” A Year of Jubilee/Bankruptcy Type of thing.” I know its a hard pill to swallow but we all need it at this very moment before the economy makes our countrymen start the New Rebellion sooner.
Then as the Bank of the USA takes shape the Gold-Silver standard can be reintroduced. However we all know the amount of gold is now finite and that is why they make paper money to fuel the world as no nation can any longer back its currency with gold accept possibly Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The elites are now war-mongering against the very people we have elected to control them. Its time we all arm up and prepare for the final battles with the NWO forces.

Is anyone out there tired of being threatened by these guys? He should be arrested and shot for treason. If the US challenged the Fed – then the central banks of the world would stop dealing with the US because it’s dollar has no value because of the monstrous debt owed to the Federal Reserve. So what? You throw off the Fed and say “Fuck you”. Run them and their pocketed politicians off a short pier. Then corporations try and stop dealing with you…you just expropriate them and their resources…take them over. Then you have the financial elite backing China and then you threaten to obliterate the planet with nuclear weapons if a new economic system – one that is sustainable – isn’t allowed to take hold, one with no central banks, one with no corporate power. It is not so hard. Bernanke we will do without you and your kind just fine. Your wealth isn’t worth anything if we don’t honor the debt you helped create.

I wish to organize a group of Americans that will stand together for mutual protection of our Liberty and Constitution. It seems we can no longer depend on our elected officials. Our elected officials have other more self absorbed agenda’s. I wish to organize along and branch out to other organizations and put them under one umbrella. Not under one control, but to work together to a common goal one step at a time. I wish to create an organization that will be taken seriously and gain the respect of our peers. This I see as the first step in taking our government back. I have years of organizational skills and see this is the only clear path. WE NEED OUR OWN LOBBY AND WE NEED TO ELBOW THE SPECIAL INTEREST LOBBIES OUT OF WASHINGTON. This is our goal.
June 26th, 2009 at 12:48 pm
He’s right though. Is it not true that our Congress is bought and paid for? Aside from Ron Paul being the author, what makes us think that this is not a huge power grab by our ever expanding government? What needs to happen is for the Congress to take back it’s duty to coin money. Will it happen?? Or will the Congress pass HR1207, denounce the Federal Reserve, and then hand over our monetary power to the IMF?? END THE FED was the right idea, but someone convinced Paul that an audit would have a better chance of passing. They are sacrificing the “Federal Reserve Bank” in order to set up the global monetary policy that they have been working on for 100+ years.

A “take over?” Here’s an example of the pot calling the kettle black. We know that the mere existence of the Fed is proof positive that America’s legislators haven’t bothered to read the Constitution themselves, or they have and their every vote is an example of their intent to nullify it.
The Fed was authorized by a corrupt congress during Traitor Wilson’s term to usurp Congress’ authority to regulate money in the USA. If they want to Audit the Fed, that shows they might be interested in taking back the authority they delegated. That’s not a take over, that’s called taking back what is theirs to begin with because WE THE PEOPLE are waking up and demanding it. The alternative that we whisper about…well, we’ll just continue to whisper about it until we’re ready to act on it.

I have one Question that everyone should think about . The U.S.Government would not hesitate in auditing you ,no questions asked . So where is the problem with them auditing the un-FEDERAL RESERVE I don’t see any difference between Joe the Taxpayer and the un-Federal Reserve. In truth it is only a business in which the government has all the right to audit . I thought Justice was blind .
