Bill Gives Attorney General Power To Designate Gun Owners, Tax Protesters As Terrorists

Amendments to the 2010 National Defense Authorization Act, which has already been passed by the House, would empower the Attorney General Eric Holder to define gun owners, anti-abortion activists and tax protesters as domestic terrorists in light of recent federal reports that classify millions of Americans as “extremists”.
Former impeached Florida judge and now Democratic Congressman Alcee Hastings has introduced amendments to H.R. 2647: National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010, which would give Holder dictator powers to demonize legitimate protest groups as being affiliated with violent race hate organizations.
The bill is ostensibly aimed at preventing race “extremists” and gang members from joining the Army, but since the Army already hires felons, criminals, racists and gang members, the real purpose behind the legislation is to codify the move to label gun owners, “anti-government” activists and tax protesters as domestic terrorists, a process that has been ongoing since at least the start of the decade.
The bill’s definition of “people associated or affiliated with hate groups” include, “Groups or organizations that espouse an intention or expectation of armed revolutionary activity against the United States Government,” or “Other groups or organizations that are determined by the Attorney General to be of a violent, extremist nature.”
The evidence required to show that such an organization is affiliated with a violent hate group includes people possessing tattoos identifying them with the group, individuals who attend conferences or rallies sponsored by a “hate group,” people who engage in online discussion forums of an “extremist” nature, people who possess documents, books or photographs or simply “related materials as defined by the Attorney General” that represent “hate propaganda.”
The amendments introduced by Hastings were passed by the House and the bill now moves on to the Senate for approval before it is signed by the President.
Since the definition of an “extremist” has already been established by numerous federal documents over the last few years that list law-abiding citizens as domestic terrorists, Hastings’ amendments are simply an attempt to centralize the power to demonize such groups into the hands of the Obama administration.
“This is arguably one of the worst pieces of legislation to come down the pike in a long, long time. In essence Attorney General Eric Holder — a Bill Clinton retread — will have the discretion to label Americans terrorists. Hastings is a dangerous man and should be forced to resign from congress. This amendment is part and parcel of the trend in this country to suppress dissent by patriots by calling them domestic terrorists,” warns writer Mike Baker.
Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ) expressed his concern about the amendment on the house floor, noting that under Homeland Security’s very definition of what constitutes an “extremist”, the majority of Americans will be characterized as hate criminals.
“While the amendment seeks to keep gang members and members of violent groups out of the military, the amendment by its language is much more broad. Specifically, it confers upon the Attorney General the ability to categorize groups as hate groups, and this sounds an alarm for many of us because of the recent shocking and offensive report released by the Department of Homeland Security which labeled, arguably, a majority of Americans as “extremists,” warned Franks.
“I take extreme offense that the federal government — through a report issued under the authority of a Cabinet-level official — would dare to categorize people who are “dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition or abortion or immigration” as “right-wing extremists” and it begs the question of whether the Attorney General, under Mr. Hastings’ Amendment, can look to the Napolitano report to decide who is an extremist, or can make the same categorization of the majority of Americans as extremists who may then be kept from joining the military, or who may be discharged,” said Rep. Franks.
As we reported in April, a recent Department of Homeland Security intelligence assessment equates gun owners with violent terrorists and states that radical extremists are “stockpiling” weapons in fear of an Obama administration gun ban.
The document, Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment, states;
“Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”
A similar report was also issued by the DHS at the end of March which listed the “alternative media” with other radical extremist groups and implies that people who disagree with the mass media’s version of events are potential domestic terrorists.
Both documents were just the latest in a long sordid line of training manuals in which the federal government characterizes millions of American citizens as potentially violent terrorists who are a threat to law enforcement, and designates them under the umbrella term of “extremists,” in the same context cited in Hastings’ amendments.
As we have exhaustively documented with the MIAC report and a whole host of others, the federal government apparently has very little concern for any perceived terrorist threat to America coming from the MIddle East or Al-Qaeda cells within the country, and indeed if any such threat existed we are only in more danger, because the feds have been busy training law enforcement that law-abiding American citizens who exercise their legal right to purchase firearms or who exercise their first amendment right to discuss politics or run websites, are potential terrorists who want to instigate a violent revolution.
In addition, current Department of Defense anti-terrorism training course material states that the exercise of First Amendment rights in the U.S. constitutes terrorist activity.
Over the last few years we have documented countless examples of security assessment reports from the likes of the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI, as well as police training manuals, which state that anti-war protesters, gun owners, veterans, Ron Paul supporters and those who merely cite the Constitution should be equated with extremists and domestic terrorists.

The fact that the government is now treating people who merely criticize its conduct as domestic terrorists is the clearest signal possible that the United States has entered a period in history similar to Germany in the early 1930’s and that it can only be a matter of time before the right “emergency” provides the justification for dissidents to be targeted for round-ups and mass imprisonment.
No one can claim now that this is merely a paranoid delusion – the government itself is training its law enforcement and military arms that protesters and people who use their First Amendment rights are domestic terrorists.
The facilities for round-ups of “extremists” who dare to exercise their First or Second Amendment rights are already being prepared, again with the help of Hastings, who sponsored (HR 645) – the National Emergency Centers Establishment Act.
The bill authorizes the Department of Homeland Security to set up a network of FEMA camp facilities to be used to house U.S. citizens in the event of a national emergency.
Ominously, the bill also states that the camps can be used to “meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security,” an open ended mandate which many fear could mean the forced detention of American citizens in the event of widespread rioting after a national emergency or total economic collapse.
The bill mandates that six separate facilities be established in different Federal Emergency Management Agency Regions (FEMA) throughout the country.
The camps will double up as “command and control” centers that will also house a “24/7 operations watch center” as well as training facilities for Federal, State, and local first responders.
The bill also contains language that will authorize camps to be established within closed or already operating military bases around the country.
As we have previously highlighted, in early 2006 Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root was awarded a $385 million dollar contract by Homeland Security to construct detention and processing facilities in the event of a national emergency.
The language of the preamble to the agreement veils the program with talk of temporary migrant holding centers, but it is made clear that the camps would also be used “as the development of a plan to react to a national emergency.”
As far back as 2002, FEMA sought bids from major real estate and engineering firms to construct giant internment facilities in the case of a chemical, biological or nuclear attack or a natural disaster.
A much discussed and circulated report, the Pentagon’s Civilian Inmate Labor Program, was more recently updated and the revision details a “template for developing agreements” between the Army and corrections facilities for the use of civilian inmate labor on Army installations.”
Alex Jones has attended numerous military urban warfare training drills across the US where role players were used to simulate arresting American citizens and taking them to internment camps.
Hastings’ efforts to have millions of law-abiding American citizens lumped in with racist gangs and designated as “extremists” arrives on the back of Federal hate crimes legislation, which in reality would criminalize “thought crimes,” that has cleared the House and now faces the Senate as S.909, the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act (officially, the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act).
S.909 is a direct violation of the First Amendment. It allows the federal government to prosecute people involved in “hate speech” transmitted over television, radio, and the internet. The House version of the bill states:
“Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce [radio, TV, internet] any communication, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress to a person, using electronic means to support severe, repeated, and hostile behavior, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. (HR 1966, SEC 3, Sec. 881a)”
In other words, if a talk show host engages in “hostile” speech against a person or persons of the above mentioned federally protected group that talk show host will face federal prosecution and the prospect of a two year prison term.
The Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act would similarly criminalize free speech on the Internet if it can be deemed in any way to have been “harmful” to an individual. This represents the end of political blogging and free speech on the world wide web.
If both bills are not opposed and thrown out then the First Amendment will become nothing more than a relic of a bygone age.
All of these coordinated moves to demonize informed, armed and pissed off Americans as extremists, terrorists and hate criminals represents the federal government’s final push to brainwash the population into accepting the notion that some Americans are dangerous, that they are enemies of the state, and that they can be targeted in the same way that victims of the “war on terror” are now being targeted across the world – through misappropriation of guilt, torture and indefinite imprisonment.

Red Dawn, you’re right in principle, but what I see happening is the reality. I’m a realist, and the people I talk to don’t want to hear reality. I stand with the freedom fighters, but from what I see, we are too scattered to make a concerted and united effort. And if the internet DOES go down, where is the information? We depend on it, and many of my neighbors are the type who would turn me in for a piece of bread if things get that desperate. I’ve reached out to them repeatedly, but they remain cold.
That being said, I put my hope in Jesus. The fact is, none of us is going to live forever, and my future is secure. This life is NOT all there is.

i have a few minutes to post. i have been all over the map in my views and advice to this forum.
but i still think as a concrete way forward: locate people who are sympathetic thru layered conversations. i guess it’s old fashioned politics. find out where their understanding and interest can be motivated to move in the right direction. don’t feed them food they can’t eat.
i have been told not to use it and i have now finally officially abandoned the word “conspiracy”.
instead, deal with the reality these people are facing. if they own simple livestock let them know about the bill to make an expensive chip mandatory for their cow or chickens… that is an example to move them. let them do the moving. better even to ask questions than give information. they have to do the work… and want to do it. otherwise you can show them god telling them 911 was an inside job and it does not make any significant difference.
but for yourself… get your neighbors together by exchanging dinners and start trading with them and getting to know them. most will agree that the tax dollars sent to the government levels are not helping us. you can even point out that they seem to be using the money to hurt us… so, reduce the tax that you pay and anyone that agrees with it. at the same time start setting up a mutual support system thru local exchange (with your neighbors) and ask a few questions that seem pertinent to their interests that may have THEM walk on the path…
you can’t walk for them. if you have boundless energy you can carry them around for your own enjoyment…

If Obama truly has any legitimate claim to US citizenship, then he was born with dual citizenship at the very least, rendering him ineligible to become president of the US. Because he is not the legitimate president and is a usurper, all bills that he signs into law are null and void. All of these bills are just fairy tale pieces of paper if the people would stand up and give them no power.
I, for one, will not hold myself responsible to follow any law passed under this administration. And if I’m arrested for breaking one of these laws, I will take the matter up in court. I will, of course, lose in court because they also own the court. But I’ll make a lot of noise every way I know how; and I’ll expect them to brand me “crazy”.

Kai, I still love freedom. I just don’t think we’re free. Most people don’t want to hear that “it is for freedom that Jesus set us free”. They don’t realize that the only true freedom is the freedom to live within His law and grace. I am not a citizen of this world. Since I was saved at 14, I’ve been a citizen of heaven, an alien and stranger on the earth. This is biblical.
Do I love my life? Absolutely, but I am a realist. Millions of people have died and will die in the name of freedom. We talk and we agree, except for the trolls and spies, and we get all emotional, angry, patriotic, but we do next to nothing. The founding fathers met in secret. I have no idea where most of my brothers are – and they are all over the world. How am I going to get to Aussie, for example, or the ones in England? Realistically, how are we going to meet face to face? I don’t see it, even though I’m willing. I would say that in my neighborhood there are none who are singing off the same sheet of music. There are a few Christian families, but they are oblivious to what is going on. When I try to broach the subject, they get that “clueles” look or think I’m crazy. Realistically, numerically, we are few and scattered.

You are correct about Hitler, and I agree for the most part about what you said. Let me interject, though, that from about 1932 until he (supposedly) took his own life in the Bunker in 1945, there were at least 42 documented attempts on Hitler’s life! Knowing how good the Germans are at making weapons and how much attention to detail that they take with most things, it would seem to me that the hand of God was involved with his maintaining power and all of the monstrous things that happened because of the Nazi regime. I guess this means that whatever plan Gos has, His Will will be done. This does NOT mean that I believe we should just lay down and be slaves. We are supposed to defend what is RIGHT (i.e., God’s laws) and those who cannot defend themselves (the children and the meek). I believe this is what God/Jesus would have us do!

The LRO “Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter”
Equipped with seven state-of-the-art cameras and other instruments, LRO will look for suitable landing sites for future manned missions while creating the most detailed lunar atlas ever assembled.
The lunar mapping satellite is working perfectly as the first 2 test photo’s show. Now Nasa can “clear the air”, by just taking a few choice Zoom-Shot Photo’s of ” Tranquility Base ” where the Apollo Astronauts left the ” Lunar Rover ” and the American Flag behind, along with dozens & dozen’s of footprints. The whole world is watching now and waiting for those photo’s to be released, and make front page headline news and put the age old argument to rest once and for all.
Of course Nasa still has a few excuse’s that they can use for not producing any Zoom-Shot Photo’s of Tranquility Base. For example, Nasa can say that there is now a huge ” Crater ” right in the spot on Tranquility Base where the “Lunar Rover” was left. Nasa can then suggest that a good sized ” Meteorite ” has evidently slammed into the “exact spot” where the “Lunar Rover” was parked. One other excuse Nasa can use, is this one. Nasa can say that the satellite’s camera’s where “not configured” so as to allow them to take such a “Zoom-Shot” photo of “Tranquility Base” .
Whatever excuse Nasa chooses to avoid the inevitable question from the public and the news media, it will be thoroughly thought out by Nasa, and most of the American public will believe whatever excuse Nasa uses when they are unable to produce the “Zoom-Shot” photo of the “Lunar Rover” parked and sitting right there on “Tranquility Base” where they said they left it.
Some of you are probably wondering where all of those Billions went for the Apollo Faked Moon Landings. The Nasa Friends & Family network are all living very nicely on that money right now.
Just take a drive around the country, and look at all of the Super Rich Upscale Homes that Billions can buy. Amazing isn’t it, how with just a few Billion Dollars how many really nice Upscale Homes
can be enjoyed by the Nasa Friends and Family Network. America, don’t worry about the actual facts, just believe everything that Nasa tells you through the “MSM” Main Stream Media…

I checked out the Google results. Interesting stuff to say the least. I’m split down the middle on the Moon landing and supposed Alien bases on the dark side. If we did go to the Moon how did we get passed the Van Allen Belt? That’s really the big humdinger in my opinion. Then you have literally hundreds of anomalies, photographic, communications, the Lemm’s booster rockets not stirring up the dusk on the moon, etc.,etc.. Something is really wrong with the whole story not matter if we went there or we didn’t.

Thanks, I’ve watched it a few times before. Forgot about the deaths surrounding the Moon missions (Grissom & two others). What about that number at the end? That’s something I don’t remember? It could be that we never went there at all and the stories are a hoax. It could be that the people of the Disclosure Project were given false information. Everything pure propaganda and illusion. Again, How did they get past the Van Allen Belt? Without the stories from the astronauts and NASA sub contractors and employees my money says we never went to the Moon. With those stories the whole thing gets very hazy.

Martin Luther King attempted this march on Washington. He would probably have had at least a half million or more people to march with him when he began to gather the masses for “The Poor Peoples Campaign” unfortunately he was assassinated a few weeks before the march on Washington and while the march still happened the numbers were drastically reduced in my opinion. Riots broke out around the country due to Martin Luther Kings assassination and 2 months later John F. Kennedy was assassinated as well. The death of these 2 bright stars who somehow found it within themselves to lead with truth and chose to help enlighten the people and fight for what was right lead to a bedraggled nation who ceased the march on Washington.
The difference between then and now is that we only have 1 new champion. Ron Paul. Though his pull is certainly more than it ever was 5 years ago or even 1 year ago it still is rather small in terms of a nation. I think at least 1 more person with a lot of pull needs to step up and help Dr Paul. Call me crazy but I bet if there was any one person in this country to stand beside Dr Paul and march on Washington it would be Oprah. This is a person who has stepped beyond boundries of gender, race and even nations. We need to decide where we draw the line. For me and my house, we will serve the Lord. I don’t plan on giving up my 2nd amendment rights. No law should supersede the Constitution. If it does, then it is invalid. It is my God given right to have a gun to ward off the evil doers.
I will not give over my guns without a confrontation. We can either stand together, united or, we can hang together dead. Their idea is to fear monger and to dominate with power of force. If you set in your mind now that you are ready for that, it will not be an issue when it comes.
Be fully prepared though. It isn’t a game. Once you step in, you are in it until the end. We all need to be planting gardens, “big ones you can live off of.” Learn to grow in every season. Plant fruit trees even if you must cut down trees that don’t produce a food crop. Set up a system for cleaning water and getting drinking water in a “power out” system “Berky”. Learn to can your own food. Learn to store “long term” dry goods.
There is more to a fight than just bullets. You need to think about that. We are not prepared for this! Even myself. I am working as fast as I can to get ready but, it is all I can do. We need to help each other as much as we can. Get to know your neighbors and become friends. Share ideas and work together.
When your children ask you what you did during the second revolution, what do you plan to tell them?
May God help us and guide us to keep what he has given us. If we repent and turn to him, he will heal our land.

Ever once-and -awhile they will arrest or kill one of us and the news will[on the back page] report something about a mentally unstable person that got killed or arested. The person that stands alone will be dead or locked-up alone and only have his self-respect intact yet he will have accomplished nothing at all toward preserving the constitution or taking down the enemies of the U.S. and her constitution.
We will all die or dissappear without accomplishing a thing unless we become an ORGANISED group. Getting organised without any infiltration is the biggest problem for those of us that desire this country to continue with it’s current constitution..
I have seen a few documentaries about some outlaw gangs. I don’t agree with their motives and goals but I find it interesting as to how they make sure that all inductees are either with them or not.
Many of us sit at home with loaded guns ready to die for our belief in the constitution and that will be how we die, by ourselves [not making any difference at all]. If you or I die defending this country and it’s constitution then I want it understood that we were defending our country from her enemies and not be remembered as some kind of crazy gun-nut. There are tens of thousands of us but there might as well be only one if we remain un-organised.
Alex Jones and others like him inform us as to who the enemies of the constitution are, what we do with that information is up to us.
The “Oath-Keepers” had a good idea but they are just individuals that have no intention of correcting the wrongs that they see unless those wrongs affect them directly.
Together we “maybe” can win. Each of us standing alone will simply be a target practice and a little fun for the anti-constitutionalists. Remember all the fun they had in Waco Tx. An ORGANISED group of constitutinalists could have merged on that site and stoped that from happening or at least went down as an inspiration to others that desire good over evil.
Dying with a thousand rounds beside you is a big waste.
