Binyamin Netanyahu described Iran as the greatest threat that Israel has ever faced and failed to mention stalled talks with the Palestinians after he was asked to be the country’s new Prime Minister today.

In a speech made outside the residence of President Shimon Peres, the Likud leader said that protecting Israel would be his greatest responsibility as leader, and condemned “formidable” challenges posed by the Islamic Republic.
However, he did not once mention the stalled Israeli-Palestinian peace process or a two-state solution throughout his address, omissions that will cause concern within an Obama administration determined to advance the peace process.
The Likud leader held a brief press conference alongside President Peres after he was appointed to form a coalition government, despite only finishing a close second in Israel’s election.
“Iran is seeking to obtain a nuclear weapon and constitutes the gravest threat to our existence since the war of independence,” Mr Netanyahu said.

Unfortunately, you’re wrong. For starters, Israel never once had 40,000 people in Lebanon during 2006. Second, the Israelis pushed Hezbollah back through a s---load of land. If you really want to see the IDF fight the revolutionary guard, go ahead, but the winner will be Israel.

The effect of this was immediately perceived by military observers. “Israeli troops looked unprepared, sloppy and demoralized,” one former senior US commander noted. “This wasn’t the vaunted IDF that we saw in previous wars.”

As for you, wtf, The Wingorad report was made openly to get Ehud Olmert to resign as prime minister. (Important stuff is shown in caps) Much of it was highly skewed. The IDF wasn’t as good as past wars is true, but that’s simply because the IDF NEVER TRAINED FOR ASYMMETRIC WARFARE UNTIL AFTER 2006! You want them to fight the Revolutionary guard, that wouldn’t be asymmetric warfare. That would be army-on-army, and if you want army-on-army Israel, you should try reading about the 6 DAY WAR or THE 73 WAR. Don’t forget that in 1982, the Israelis took a highly guarded fortress in under a day while outnumbered immensely, more so than they outnumbered Hezbollah. Also, with only twice as many soldiers as Hezbollah, they still killed 532 of them in 2006.

There is nothing wrong with Zionism. There’s Zionism that believes Jews should have a home in the middle east, and then there’s Zionist who hate Muslims. I’m the former. I have had Muslim friends in the past and have no problems with them whatsoever. Also, Israel has had nukes- 1400 to be exact- since 1971, and has never once used them. The only time they ever armed them was during an invasion on Yom Kippur. In recent years I have become fed up with the actions of Israel, but their main purpose of these actions is security. The Gaza attack wasn’t. It was to test their soldiers and see if they were ready for another asymmetric war. I don’t feel it’s right to kill people to test that. Let us not forget that Israel wasn’t always like this– in 1948 they were extremely liberal. They have become right wing overtime, and rather than hope for their destruction we should hope for them to go back to liberalism, where they only ever killed people in self defense.
Netanyahu will not be good for my hopes for Israel. Let’s hope their next PM is. For the sake of peace on both sides.

Judaism was the Covenant given to the world through the children of Isaac.

Ummm, Mohammed told the Jews that he was the “Prophet like unto Moses” who was foretold to come from Arabia. The very reason why the Jewish tribes went there to wait for him. However, when they found out he was not an Israelite but in fact an Ishmaelite, some rejected him. Many did accept him as “that Prophet” and entered into the updated covenant with the Lord of Abraham. Muslims are descendants of the first born and we can see they have received the Lions share of inheritance (both spiritual and material). Anyone who accepts this final covenant has everything to gain and nothing to lose. Everyone has a choice and freewill. If anyone is forced to accept Islam then their conversion will be REJECTED because by definition Islam means “the VOLUNTARY submission to the Lord of Abraham.” This is why Muslims can marry Jewish or Christian women and they do not have to change their faith. If Islam can co-exist with Jews and Christians in the HOME then outside the home is even easier. History is proof of Islams ability to co-exist with real Jews, not the Zionist fake Jews whom the Bible calls the Synagogue of Satan.
