Five Blackwater Worldwide security guards charged in the shooting deaths of 14 Iraqi civilians last year turned themselves in to federal authorities in Salt Lake City this morning, according to their attorneys, and the Justice Department unsealed a 35-count indictment against them.

The five guards were indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury in Washington in connection with the shooting, which occurred Sept. 16, 2007, in Baghdad’s bustling Nisoor Square. The indictment said all five were charged with voluntary manslaughter; attempt to commit manslaughter; and using and discharging a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.

A sixth security guard, Jeremy P. Ridgeway, pleaded guilty Friday to charges of voluntary manslaughter and attempt to commit voluntary manslaughter, according to papers filed in court today.

      What a joke.

US troops, prepare for more repercussions for the actions of these idiots…

    2. legend702 Says:

      mother f---ers

    3. genocide mission Says:

what’s the big deal???…bush killed 3 million arabs, the US is on a genocide mission in the middle east….to the idiots who don’t know yet, genocide means killing people

    4. Biggy small Says:

Blackwater is coming to a neighborhood street near you! Stock up on lead while you still can!

    5. dave Says:

Their allegiance isn’t to humanity, democracy or diplomacy. It’s to a paycheck. They are mercenaries and will work for the most evil cause in the name of money their god.

What is a shame is that trying these punks will not make the problem go away. We need Blackwater to open its books and show what went on between them and the White House to cause such a problem to occur in the first place.

I think this type of business needs to be more regulated by law. Congress has done a miserable job protecting human rights, American values and oversight of Bush & Co. Both the Rep and Dem congresses.

Investigate the Eric Prinze and DeVoss families….intermarried republican money conduits. AMWAY and Blackwater. These people are liars and muderers.

    6. yellowhak1 Says:

JUST FIVE? BIG DEAL! GOTTA HAND OVER SOMEONE I GUESS.

    7. Dena Says:

      Dirty murderers.

    8. Scarecrow Says:

Arrest, Arraign, Try, and Hang these filthy scum. You live by the sword; you die by the sword. Time to shoot the bastards.

    9. BuggedOut Says:

Wouldnt you love to have them alone in a secluded wearhouse; disarmed, handcuffed, and make these scum pay?

    10. No balls in america. Says:

This is a good start but we also need to arrest and put on trial all the traitor scum cops and troops who violated their duty by raping the Constitution, stole guns, food and assaulted people in New Orleans.

    11. Ordinance4U Says:

Genocide means we wipe out the ones that perpetrate all genocide and have a hand in perptratin gsuch; down to the paper pushers and black berry butt mongers and perdophiles.

    12. House Says:

I hope this will send a message to others who choose to side with an out of control dictatorship operating under the guise of the US government. Perhaps those in uniform should take note, and pay attention to the same fate which awaits those who will choose to blindly follow “orders”.

Of course, we all know this is just an artificial sacrifice, to make us believe there is some sort of ethics, humanity, and justice in place. If that were the case, Bush & his posse would be facing charges as well.

    13. Upyours Says:

They gonna drown in this ” Blackwater ” s--- !!!

    14. jack elle Says:

we go from policing the world to being thugs for the nwo

    15. ARE WE AWAKE? Says:

Well this little trial is just a show, to pacify the public a little, so the brain dead will feel someting is going on. They do this all the time, and those that complain about it become happy.

so just how it is, they work in the same system and when the system needs to put up a good front of cleaning itself out, they find some poor s---s to take the blame.

Well I have no problem people going off and sighting wars for money, everyone needs a job.

And that is the whole thing, it all revolves around money, and money talks, so pelple will side with who every has the money. so many patriots will give in, play the game and try and keep what they have, and many good patriots will die.

We live in a very sad world. EIdeals are great, but reality is the same AS IS.

    16. xill Says:

Great, now get the ones who killed the 1.5 millions other innocents in Irak. Miserable Traitors to humanity!

Or do we need a revolutionary tribunal to do what the current tribunal cant?!

    17. Rick78X Says:

Now it’s time to go after the real criminals. They wear expensive suits and call themselves politicians, bankers and corporate executioners – I mean executives.

    18. Rick78X Says:

LOCKE AND LOAD PREPARE

    22. george bush Says:

Why not punish the ones who hired them??Oh thats Uncle Sam nevermind…

    23. Mr.T Says:

      This is just a DISTRACTION!

Justice will not be served and we will be slapped in the face again.

Do not hold your breath on this one. Get Prepared!

    24. MyFreespeach4u Says:

So we have started with 22,000 men and women of the 3rd INF DIV, in Az, Nm, & Co.
It may– be to do what FDR did, he and the army rounded up those people, OK now listen
Those people were mostly Mexicans, and were need to be shipped back to Mexico,

Why?? GI were coming home and needed those jobs back

So U don’t believe me? Well you can find it easy!
They were shipped back by bus, trains, and ships, Ships at Port San Diego,

And its the God Damn truth,

Do you know what Monsanto, and Dow, did in Michigan in the late 50s and early 60s????????

The bankrupted there parent companies, why you say! they save money, How?
They did not have to pay those pensions the agreed to

Don’t believe me??? Well it easy, look it up!!!!

we are gonna get f---ed, If we don’t TAKE A STAND./

what are you going to do?

Well tell someone, call congress, and more

    25. Neocon Narc Says:

In the U.S. these guys would be called criminals.
But in Blackwater, they are not accountable for their actions and are considered war heroes.
This is exactly what happens when you use mercenaries.
They ruin the image of real war heroes who were fighting for the country.
These guys are fighting for profit and the corporations trying to sell coca cola in Iraq.

The Rothschild are experts at using mercenaries, who you think told the government about how great they are??

    26. Toecutter Says:

Have a speedy trial and a fair hanging.

    27. spamman Says:

most they will do is two years in jail, s--- they probaly did the world a favor.

    28. wakeup!! Says:

      GOOD ONE 23!!

    29. Son of The Republic Says:

Makes you proud to be an American … Please God help our nation from these evil men.

    30. THE TRUTH WARRIOR Says:

THEY KILL FOR MONEY!! WE’LL EXECUTE THEM FOR FREE!!

    31. jerry Says:

if even half of what I hear is true, then these guys should be tried in Iraq…not the United States. They committed these acts (allegedly) over there so let them face the music there also. but, they should be thanking their personal GOD it’s going to be tried here. otherwise, they would be looking at a public hanging no doubt (if found guilty).

    32. rick Says:

I would offer the ammo and the trigger pulling to send them to their maker, but that would make me no better than them. The real criminals are those that give them that job. I think a length of rope would be better suited for that job. Hell, tar and feathers would be a good start.

    33. Tom Says:

sad thing is they will not be able to be charged because they did the crime in iraq.
how many others are out there?

    34. Tom Says:

      “involuntary manslaughter” HAH!

    35. janet Says:

We will publish a story about BLACKWATER COPS ISSUING TICKETS FOR rolling stop signs in our North Atlanta neighborhood.

e-mail me for the full story. truthnews@aol.com

    36. twocrow Says:

I work for Blackwater, you people don’t know what you are talking about. Blackwater provides a professional service in an extremely dangerous environment. You make these harsh judgments as if you know something. It is sad to read this sort of crap. Truth will come out and if these men have done something wrong they will be punished. But as for Blackwater, I am proud to work for this company and find my coworkers to be solid professionals with high moral standards. Some of you people should keep your unqualified comments to your self. You rant and rave and the truth is you know nothing not even how stupid you are, thats the pity.

    37. Rusty_Shackelford Says:

“twocrow”, the SS were proud too! Mercinary for hire is not a noble profession, especially in these illegal “wars”. So spare us your self-righteous bulls--- indignation! We all know Death squad goons like “Blackwater” when we see them.Security my ass!

    38. jkl Says:

Blackwater is scum that we need to remove from our landscape.

    39. saturnx311 Says:

      Well-put, #39. I couldn’t have said it better.
“Backwater” might be a better name…

    40. twocrow Says:

Tell me # 39 and #40 were you there that day in that square in Iraq ? Can you tell me what happened ? Are you a witness ? No you were not there but you are able to make a judgment about what these men did. As I said I am sick of crap like this. You talk but say nothing.

    41. David PK Says:

Twocrow take your brainwashed little head and stick it up your ass . If you knew your history , you would know that private armies are never used for good purposes . It is a way for traitor politicians to do
backdoor missions that regular army won’t or can’t do. If if was legit our above board military would be doing it . Maybe you have been lucky and not asked to do any illegal or evil things YET but , your day will come . Point your gun at an American citizen , step on the Constitution and you are a traitor . WE WILL NOT
TOLERATE YOUR KIND . Better do some reading fast and decide if you are an American or not . The Patriot Act and the Military Commissions act DOES NOT SUPERCEDE the Constitution , no matter what that traitor
Bush says . CHOKE ON THAT !

    42. ray Says:

These blackwater bastards will attempt to police the American people and take them to the FEMA camps. Folks, do not go to the camps. You must have a shot on sight sel;f-defense policy against blackwater, because these bastards will kill your entire family and not bat an eye. DO NOT NEGOTIATE WITH THESE TERRORISTS.

    43. twocrow Says:

What a bunch of paranoid miscreants you people are. No one in Blackwater is asked to do anything illegal or evil. Just the opposite is the case, we risk our lives and make every effort to do what is right. No one in Blackwater is going to be taking Americans to FEMA camps, don’t be so paranoid. Number 43 your not paranoid just plain stupid, you just don’t know what you are talking about.

    44. Blackwater Killa Says:

“Don’t be so paraniod.” I think that’s what the Nazi’s said to the Jews right before they cooked them.

Twocrow, your a brainwashed moron. Why did you even visit this website?

Ill piss on you and your blackwater buddies. Right after a decapitate you demon f---s…

    45. bmcedm148 Says:

The thing is who does Blackwater owe there alegience to? Money? I don’t think its the US Constitution like the military.

    46. twocrow Says:

Number 46 you ask a good question, I should not waste my time talking to idiots. You will not find a more patriotic and loyal folk than those that work for BW. As for me I will not waste another moment, why cast my pearls before swine.

    47. Canuck36 Says:

What is the difference between Blackwater and the Gestapo of Nazi Germany? Maybe it’s just me, but I find a lot of similarities here…

    48. dave Says:

shut up twocrow if they were innocent then they wouldnt be tried by a f---ing US jury you asswipe f--- you and your blackwater murderers.

    49. Lost? Says:

Can anyone please tell me how these Blackwater guards are being indicted in American courts since it happened on Iraq soil? Not only that but there is a law in place that FULLY protects private armed security guards from ANY type of prosecution while in Iraq, even if they made blatant mistakes. The law is very strongly worded to protect almost ANYTHING Blackwater personal may have caused or did, even killing innocent civilians during a fire fight.

So, even though you or I may not agree or like what happen over in Iraq, there is a LAW in place that states that these Blackwater Guards can NOT be held responsible if they were on official assignment when this happened, and they were.

I do NOT have a “dog in the race” and even hate Blackwater for what they did to US citizens during Hurricane Katrina but doesn’t anyone else find it extremely strange how this is being handled?

Lets see, Blackwater guards murder and abuse hundreds of American citizens during Katrina, ILLEGALLY seize firearms in DIRECT VIOLATION OF OUR 2ND Amendment and NOTHING IS DONE.
It is even suppressed by main stream media.

NOW COME THE FOREIGNERS demanding something be done and it is done!

American citizens get murdered and abused by the same company and NOTHING IS DONE!!!

I’m so sick of the double standards and how our country no longer fights for our own Americans citizens.

    50. PatwitaGat Says:

David your right. These pee-brains must not have a clue whats going on. These thugs arent above the law, especially Gods.

    51. Nolan Says:

They better be glad they were not tried by the Iraqi’s. If you are found guilty in their courts you pay dearly.

    52. 1234 Says:

IF you work for black water, then we want our money back and your profits.. for it is our tax dollars your buisness steals as investment, and the lives of our soldiers that are at cost for your f*** ups.. take that righteous nation building oil mongering desideratum mentality and shove it in the darkest corners of your a$$.. You speak for a company that gives their militants absurd pay to inflict a realm of chaos in underdeveloped areas not only iraq (lets also not forget your role in katrina).. so the public can be misled with a notion of peace keeping while the truth is of foreign extension so nwo henchmen can protect their globally based agenda. I mean if your oblivious to yourself then it may be your own self protection and determination to realize why! not what for you pretend to perform such heinious acts on humanity… “blackwater” i mean cheese and rice that is the fanciest code name for “oil” we have ever seen

    53. Wake Up! Says:

Does the U.S. laws go over to a foreign country? Does this mean that Iraq has our smae laws? Funny part is that they are giving a press briefing about it. Scapegoats? Propaganda? Real ? Fake?

    54. HillbillyJihad&TheBubbaLiberationFront Says:

#55: The U.S. Constitution applies(Purportedly) worldwide to all U.S. citizens. Just depends on what kind of kink you have. Thailand and child sex(MSNBC), your goin’ down!!! Invade a country illegally…Hall Pass!!! Not that I condone either but, people don’t get it!!!! Americans…are we a waste of time???? WTF Over??? Can someone “Thermally Expand” on this????

    55. Barbaricfellow Says:

After years of senseless killing by countless privateers this lot is prosecuted?
Wow,they must have pissed someone off.

    56. Real Aussie Says:

Hey guys do you really think someone from backwater would be on this site let alone one with somewhat gentleman like debate,,,more than likely another paid plant,,,everyone has there role, backwater agents just kill for $$,, internet plants are paid to cause confusion, change the view of the weary, cause diversions from the real issues ,ect ect and are usally very cunning, sneaky geeks. This person could be someone who post’s regually with different names for all we know…..

    57. PMSC back from the sand Says:

I do not work for Blackwater but I do work for another private security detachment for the Dept. of State contracted for protective services. I have been coming here to infowars for many months and agree with almost everything Alex is saying & doing. I’m also amazed at just how much is surpassed from the public and by Alex’s insight in finding the real truth 80% of the time. But like all of us he is “off” target at times.

I do NOT agree with what happen during hurricane Katrina or what SOME of the Blackwater SD’s did to civilians down there.

I hold our US Constitution above ALL and will do everything in my power to defend it and my fellow Americans rights. I, no many of us, will NOT ever follow an order that conflicts with the Constitution and will consider any order to do so, as an illegal & criminal action on the part of my CO or “other”.

This being said, May I ask why my fellow infowarriors or my fellow “awake” Americans can not fight for my rights or those of the Blackwater SD that are now being illegally prosecuted? My brothers & sisters, please give me the chance I would extend to you. Not “all of us” that work as PMSC’s (Private Military Security Contractors) are evil, most follow what I just wrote above. We even discussed how we would protect YOU if the worst case scenario ever happened and an illegal “seize all firearm” law was signed by Bush, Obama or anyone else; we would side with YOU and fight beside YOU.
Please read the following comment that was left by a very wise and awake American, try to understand what the “powers to be” are doing.
      The Comment said:

“Has the American Judicial System become a World-Wide Enterprise?
Are there no geographical limits to the reach of American law?
These men were contracted by the Dept. of State to protect State Dept. personnel, and designated foreign personnel vital to the function of the Dept. within the country of Iraq.
They are now to be prosecuted under firearms laws for the use of firearms in the completion of their duties?
Duties which saw many of their numbers wounded and killed, but not one protectee harmed by hostile forces.
Are there no adults within the Government, who will stand up and cry out that this is not just wrong,
      but immoral?
Is it becoming time to dust off that ancient document written by an obscure lawyer from Virginia in the summer of ‘76, and apply it to the new tyranny that has arisen amongst us?”

    58. boondog Says:

pms twocrow same dude! we don’t need no stinking private security ass wipe.

    59. PMSC back from the sand Says:

      No “boondog”, not even close.

    60. Antonio Says:

PMSC – Are you saying that the guys who opened fire on unarmed civilians, one of which was standing with his hands up in the ‘I surrender’ stance should be PROTECTED from prosecution? Is that what you’re saying? YOU might be an upright moral human being, and lots of your colleagues too, but that does not alter the fact that a crime was committed here, which is why these guys are being charged. Having a ‘blackwater’ badge (or ‘KBR’ or any of the other ‘armies for hire’) does ot make anyone immune from Justice.

    61. CounterStrike Says:

Yeah the CIA will get them all out of prison. Send them to an Island somewhere, where they will will live a life a luxury. Then after they get their plastic surgery done will be running black ops all over the world.

Don’t let this sharade fool you. They have been known to spring their criminals from prison 100s of times without anyone knowing the difference.

    62. A.L.Ex N.E.T.A Says:

14 counts and they still only call it manslaughter?

    63. Jester Says:

      Attempted manslaughter?

How does that work? They tried to accidentally kill them??

    64. Steve Boggan Says:

Unless we correct our military mistakes, we lose all credibility with those we are trying to help. This kind of actions is why our stature is still high everywhere in the world among common people (not the news media, which is liberal and anti American everywhere).

    65. el gabacho loco Says:

Eric prince and blackwater the Sovereign military order of malta The vaticans army answers to no-one

    66. el gabacho loco Says:

steve these pricks are not US military, they are as I stated in post 67 above and beyond US military law

    67. Cr3t21i Says:

haha, so I can beat up costomers and HEB won’t get mad? lol

    68. Y Says:

I agree with PMCS that this prosecution seems totally improper. I fail to see how American laws apply in Iraq except for U.S. troops being subject to UCMJ. I can’t imagine why anyone would plead guilty since jurisdiction stands out as an obvious problem for the prosecution. International courts exist for the purpose of trying cases such as this. These men should be tried by an international court and if found guilty, sentenced appropriately according to local Iraqi law. When you’re in someone’s house, you follow their rules.

    69. mrmakymkay Says:

dont mistake blackwater for military, blackwater is paid mercs and get paid a hell of alot better than military. that is were most of the money for the war is going is to the P.M.C.s(private military companies). since these companies have the money to purchase better equipt. then our military can afford, we should be concernd. i thought back in the 90s the U.N. made P.M.C.s illegal to use in foriegn nations due to ethics concerns. there was an african country that hired a P.M.C. to quell revolution. that was the only time a P.M.C. was ever used till blackwater, well that i know of.

    70. Stop being a victim Says:

Here’s a law i can live with: Any soldier, mercenary, secret agency (Delta, special opps ect.) that kills a unarmed civilians must be brought to an international court system where they are to be tried by a jury of their peers for murder. If suspected of murdering civilians even if you are a secret agent working from anywhere in the world you are to be followed by a gang of poperotzi (spelling?) 24/7. They are to be filmed/ photographed doing everyday activities like where they shop, eat and what there family looks like what they do ect. till there trial has reached a conclusion. All film/photographs taken will be posted on a site like U-tube for the world to see. Governors and monarchs included and cannot be reversed by any new laws.—We have U-tube like sites now, all we need is some good lawyers and a civilian militia to back them with force if necessary. So keep filming the lawyers will eventually join in.

    71. brettt401 Says:

the ratio of mercenaries to soldiers in iraq is 1 to 1. thats a big private army

    72. LINKIN6ECHO Says:

How can the United States charge these guys for doing something outside the United States ?

    73. Stop being a victim Says:

Civilians of the world GET ORGANIZED in small groups. Dust-off your video cameras and expose the darkness in you area. Film them anyway you can use multiple cameras, pinhole cameras, live feeds and post there crimes on U-tube like sites. Invest in micro AM/FM transmitters incase they shut down U-Tube like sites. Get the word out.

If all else fails we must play dirty and use the methods they use against us and our children against them. We need our best salesmen out there selling them food with aspartame in it and there children toys laced with lead. If that doesn’t work, hell just give it to them appeal to there greed. Be aware of interactions with aspartame ect. We must be as wise as serpents to kill the serpents.

    74. Mr.T Says:

“Stop being a victim”, I am positive that if you try these “following” and “filming” tactics of these Blackwater scum, you will be sure to come up missing.

This is a joke, the only reason why they are being tried here on the homeland is so the U.S. can give them a slap on the wrist and an early release, knowing if they were tried overseas the punishment would be execution.

Again, THIS IS JUST A DISTRACTION! No justice will be served.

    75. Stop being a victim Says:

As much as I loathe the corruption and greed that we live with at the hands of our government I also despair over the intellectual poverty of so called patriots on this site. If this is the caliber of those that will save the republic then we are in deep trouble. Most of you run your mouths and flail your ideas around and are so disconnected from any truth. It is pathetic and disheartening. I have read some on this site that make good points and look for the truth but most of you are ranting lunatic paranoid know nothings.

    79. Chase Says:

Makes me so happy that the Blackwater Mercs were found guilty. I can not stand seeing these evil men killing for sport. Prasie the Lord for seeing that these cold blooded A-holes are never going to terrorize anyone ever again.

    80. twocrow Says:

Number 81 they have not been found guilty of anything at this point in time, they are under indictment. But in your pea brain the trial is over and its time to get a rope. Were you there that day? Do you know what happened? It amazes me that you can make the judgments that you do and you really know nothing about the incident. A jury will listen to the evidence and decide if these men are “evil men killing for sport”. Don’t be so quick to “praise the Lord” as you don’t have the facts and really don’t know about quilt or innocence.

    81. dewk Says:

Everybody answers to karma. They are private where are their boss’ ain’t they are accountable too?

    82. MeTARDZAN Says:

I would extradite to Iraq and let the Iraqie people take their justice

    83. obstinate Says:

      not guilty

    84. sensible solution Says:

only a coward would sit behind a gun and shoot innocent people

    85. neon Says:

glad to know that BlackWater will probably be contracted for the olympics in Vancouver…

      wonderful.

    86. making the stand Says:

send our troops home and send blackwater and the outher private gaurds to irag and afgan.

    87. GetAClue Says:

There’s nothing wrong with these Blackwater scum that a brick wall and blindfold wouldn’t cure. They deserve to be shot by the relatives of the people they gunned down.

We can only hope they all get 30 years without possibility of parole. The death penalty would be more fitting, but this was downgraded “Manslaughter” instead of what it really was – COLD-BLOODED MURDER.

I suspect that is so because the victims were Iraqis. Had they been Americans, they would not have fared so well.

    88. dave Says:

Twocrow stfu why do you even post on a conspiracy site anyway go crawl back to your Blackwater propaganda masters for another assignment because your s--- aint working here. This isnt the 1st Blackwater problem we have heard about. We are all smart enough to figure out right from wrong and Ive heard about this event for a while now and remember the day it happened so stfu please you idiot.

    89. Sherlock 008 Says:

#84 I heard the word on that. Surely, this heinous violation of International law would also morally and publicly qualify as a violation of the Govt’s terms in the contract they signed…if not, somebody up top needs to be on trial by fire. So since they aren’t really military per se, Black Water’s rogue assassins who are technically rent-a-security guards ought to be subject to extradition easily like any civilian criminal. Let the Iraqis hang these Hessian pirates.

    90. Sherlock 008 Says:

Okay, let’s wake up to the documented facts in history that when unscrupulous power mad leaders of empires have some special dirty work they want carried out, but they want to keep a lid on it (besides, no soldier with a conscience has to carry out illegal orders), they hire expensive thugs to be the torpedos. What else would be the legitimate reason? We have trained special ops units for every covert mission purpose on land, air, and sea. Sorry, looking at Black Water’s track record, including the Katrina raids (a brutish infringement of rights and privacy NOT a rescue with provisions), I just gotta vote thumbs down for these scumbags. Who’s heard of anything good these mercenaries have done? To me, they just go against any kind of notion for protective security for the public in principle alone. I knew a guy who ran across a bunch of them sitting at a rest stop outside their black van and he noticed all the gear they were sportin’ with their vague black uniforms and the stupid bear patches. Seeing them for the first time, he merely asked them “Wow! who are you guys?” They just snotted back with “never mind who we are…mind your own business and keep movin’.” Complete assholes !

    91. crashcrisis Says:

How does a disciplined, well trained military unit with a clear understanding of its mission go berserk like these Blackwater men did and murder innocent civilians?

Let’s look at the qualifiers: Discipline…clearly lacking but, due to what? Hangovers?

Training…no rules of engagement here, just panic and KILL.

Understanding…yea, we understand, you give us $600+ per diem and we build the hell-on-wheels ego that goes with it.
Maybe the truth will be revealed at trial. If I know anything, and based on past performance, the court will white-wash this tradgedy and seal the record. But, maybe I don’t know anything. Eyes front, keep moving, nothing to see here.

    92. John Says:

      http://www.falsebeliefs.com

    93. Sherlock 008 Says:

Then go ahead and point out the misconceptions, John. Give everyone the details of who’s wrong about what…not just a dumb link to a site where they say everything is “bulls---” including science and religion. That’s one big blanket delusion.

the day has come in this country that maybe the voices of our citizens trully need to be heard. maybe our u.s. military should be informed by its citizens (enmasse) that we have a terrorist private organized army opporating in the jurisdictional confins of united states. maybe it should be told to the u.s. army that as u.s. citizens that when it comes time for our senators and congress men to vote for the army to get more of our money, that until you rid our country of these operations like blackwater we will clamour to the likes of the market bailout, hell no to your money. learn your history and read your damn constitution people. the army is controlled by us. laugh if you like, dont believe me. i dont care, its the truth. through the democratic actions we take as country, we have a hand in what our military does. through democratic actions we determine how much money they get, if we go to war, and handling renegade operations like blackwater. now you say “what about the war in iraq” well that is easy to explain. through the manipulation of your patriotism. ‘patriots dont question the government in a time of national crisis.’ well personally i am part of generation that grew up in the fallout of vietnam and the first iraq war and we were taught this is the exact time to question. and the funny thing is being a military man and coming from a military family that if you read the military code of judiciary conduct that they are here for us as citizens. why do you think there is the seperation of the military and the government. because when it comes down to it, the military does not give a s--- about the government. its about the u.s. citizen. they view the government exactly how it is, an elected body that can be impeached and somebody else elected, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE. please as citizens of this country we need to educate ourselves on who we are and what we are as a country. and on a final note on this whole blackwater investigation. personally when you look at the constitution and all of the international treaties that would apply, operations like blackwater get everything they deserve. whether it be through judicial prosecution or through direct retaliation from the people they attack. they are an illegal international terroristic organization that should be handled accordingly.
