British Apache Helicopters Used In Libya Attacks

British Apache helicopters have carried out their first strikes during operations in Libya, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed.

Sky’s defence correspondent Niall Paterson is on board HMS Ocean, where the aircraft were launched from, in the Mediterranean.

He said that two targets were hit near the town of Brega and also an armoured vehicle at a checkpoint.

A variety of weapons were used, including hellfire missiles.
