British travellers could be banned from flying to America

Under the new scheme tourists will be advised to apply online for approval for travel from the US Department of Homeland Security at least three days before they leave.

Anyone denied permission will be barred when they attempt to check in at the airport.
The measure is aimed at tightening US border controls to prevent a repeat of the September 11 terror attacks. Known as the Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA), it was introduced in a soft launch in August but will be compulsory from January 12.
It replaces the I-94 form, which is currently handed out during the flight to passengers from Britain and a number of other countries who do not require visas. Applicants will provide the same biographical information and passport details, including names, passport numbers, date of birth and destination, as with the I-94 form.

To re-cap…….on 911…..jet fuel before, during, and after the crash of the WTC’s was reported by not a single person. NONE. In PA not one person mentioned the overwhelming smell that would be present. The belief in Jesus and the following of Christianity is the representation of ideals such as love, justice, freedom, truth, forgiveness, respect, honor, conviction, loyalty, kindness..etc or any other perspective one would attribute to being good. Although I believe man is inherently good most people need to have a value system thought to them and religion is an inevitable creation to place thoes ideals and codes into an institution. Saying Jesus Christ isn’t real and the belief in him is delusional might be true(I don’t think so) but the belief in the perspectives he represents isn’t.

This new method of applying online to enter the US is only the beginning. For all of those people who think that this is good, just wait until they institute this as a measure for all countries. Everyone is going to have to apply to the destination country before travel is commenced . It`s all a way to reduce travel for the general public. They DONT want us flying anymore. They need to restrict our freedom of movement- one of our most basic liberties. New airlines ( Emerites) are emerging with private sleeping cabins and such that will only be for the super wealthy. The old airlines will go bankrupt, one by one. The commoner will not be flying abroad, much longer…

I bought a home in Orlando in 2005 against my better judgement -married life makes you do stupid stuff!-and am seriously regretting it. What has happened to the USA?? The land of the free? They have sleepwalked into a massive police/surveillance state and it seems the only ‘freedoms’ are to wach sport, whore around and be an economic wage slave. I am now hesitant about coming back to a country I love very much for the real fear that I could be turned back. I wonder if outstanding parking tickets would debar me from entry? Seriously, that country has been destroyed from within by gangsters who make the Corleone family seem tepid in comparison.

At least this will help people see that countries are really prisons, that’s why you need a pass..port to get in and out, otherwise you’re not going anywhere. At borders, especially at airports, we’ve been treated like criminals, especially now, but people only lately begin to see it (better late than never). Passport pictures are like mugshots, they look at us like we were al criminals. I’m so insulted, are you?
Borders are there to isolate a group of people like test-tube samples and try all sorts of experiments and give them different fates. If things don’t change the US will become like China where nobody (except agents) will go anywhere.

There was a time in the U.S. when Americans did not need governments permission to travel abroad. As late as 1890, if an american wanted to leave the country he or she packed up their bags and left. NO papers, no screening, no questions from BIG BROTHER. THere was also a time when IIMMIGRANTS/TOURISTS did not have to check in with the U.S. government when coming to America. They didnt have to show papers and weren’t checked for illegal drugs. They were only subject to testing for infectious diseases. OH how I wish we could go back to the OLD REPUBLIC! They were free! THey paid no federal income taxes, werent spied on by agencies such as the CIA, and the military was about as popular as the post office. BUt as technology, industry, militarism and science advanced, liberty deteriorated. This was THomas JEfferson’s fear and the reason why he opposed industrial sycophant alexander hamilton. THe ideal AMerica, said Jefferson, was the RURAL American. The fiercely independent yeoman. NOw we are packed into BIG CITIES like lab rats, stuck in traffic for hours, and police cruise our blocks every 5 minutes. NOt only do we need federal government permission to fly on a COMMERCIAL PLANE today in the form of the CAPPS II “screening” program,(surveilance really) the feds are planning on requiring PRIVATE PLANE owners to get permission starting next year! PRIVATE PLANE OWNERS! Can you imagine being screened by the NSA before you hopped in your car? The end of the REPUBLIC is near us.
