Bush Says He “Chucked Aside” His “Free Market Principles”

U.S. President George Bush said Monday President-elect Barack Obama hasn’t asked him to seek the second half of the funds designated for economic recovery.

“I don’t intend to make the request” for $350 billion of the $700 billion package approved to help unfreeze credit markets unless Obama asks, Bush said in a wide-ranging, candid and final news conference of his presidency.
Bush said he and Obama, who takes over Jan. 20, have discussed the matter. “I told him that if he felt that he needed the $350 billion, I would be willing to ask for it — in other words, if he felt like it needed to happen on my watch,” Bush said.
Reflecting on the recession that is ending his tenure, Bush said, “I inherited a recession and I am leaving on a recession.”
“I readily concede I chucked aside my free-market principles when I was told … the situation we were facing could be worse than the Great Depression,” Bush said. “(But) we’ve taken extraordinary measures to deal with frozen credit markets (that) have helped thaw the credit market.”
He said he was pleased the financial markets have begun to move because of the $350 billion already spent and that he would be supportive of Obama’s administration working out a plan “that best suits him.”
His administration moved aggressively by taking actions “all aiming to prevent the financial system from cratering.”

He chucked aside what the people wanted which was NO BAILOUTS! The emails and phone calls were said to be 500/1 against the bailouts which the people knew was going to be a rip off and sure enough it was with no oversight and no judicial review written into the legislation. And it aint over. They are getting ready to do it some more.

The people said no bail outs because it was for the asshole corporations which is understandable. However, the bailouts should go directly to the people so they can zero out their debts and buy some consumer goods. Its not a hand out..its your fkin money to start with.
Besides, None of us should have to pay to live on a planet we were born on.

Lets end this once and for all. First of all we cry about the NWO and say its all the elite’s fault and their evil and poor me. Whats going on is just as much our fault as it is theirs. They baited the hook and we bit hard. Nobody told all these people who lost their homes or are in trouble of loosing them to buy a house that they couldnt afford if some tragedy was to hit their finances. Its called living below your means and being conservative with your money. The economy would be find if people so a little restaint, and not try to keep up with the jone’s. It’s the american people who are handing our the country to these people, their not taking it. All they are doing is puting cheese in the mouse trap and waiting for greedy people to bit. Sure they control the banks, but you dont have to borrow from them. You can just merely save and buy a nice reasonable house cash or with little finace because you have at least 35-40% to put down. Now most of you will say how am i going to put away that much money. How about get rid of bad habits smoking, drinking, partying, eating out more than 2-3 times a week, cable TV(Theres a $100 or more by it self), buying cars that have $400-$700 or more notes, always in the mall or store shopping( no one needs 10- 15 pairs of shoes), buying our snot noise kids every new toy or fashion, and the number one killer credit cards, if you use more than 2-3 times a month you dont need it. Now you take away all this excesive spending and tell me what would the elite have to work with. Nothing! Your should be rulers of your money not servants. But Its not going to happen america will still buy and buy and push themselves furthur into debt until the noose is so tight it will beg for a BAIL OUT, thats when they got you. Taking to the streets will do no good, grabing a gun to fight like many of you claim your going to do will do nothing! What do you think these secret fema camps are for and the patriot act was written for! They’re waiting for it! They want you to take to the streets! Thats what this is all about, civil unrest dont be stupid! You cant take a shot gun to fight a tank! Hit them where it hurts, there pockets, thats there real control over america.

Free-market principles?
There’s nothing free about a market in which the bankers own all of the money.
All money enters into the money supply through lending – by the bankers entering numbers into bank balances. They do not own the money. The money does not even exist until it is loaned into the money supply.
All loans must be repaid, theoretically. Therefore all of the money – the entire liquid market – the entire monetary economy is in hock to the central bankers. For all intents and purposes, they own the market.
There’s little that is free about it.

I have been listening to AJ for almost 4 years now and whilst i agree with some of the things he reports, i have found a lot of things that have been over blown and some of it, not true at all. I do my own research – and i mean real reasearch, not just searching google.
