Bush to Meet with Fed, Treasury Chiefs on Monday

President George W. Bush planned to meet Monday with his advisory panel on financial markets – which includes Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson – after the Federal Reserve Friday had to step in to keep investment giant Bear Stearns afloat.

The meeting comes after stocks fell and the dollar weakened Friday amid uncertainty over how deeply the credit crunch has seized up the financial system. The markets were shaken when the Fed teamed up with JPMorgan to provide sufficient liquidity for 85-year-old Bear to continue operations.
However, Bush appears to reject any dramatic action to help the economy.
In his weekly radio speech Saturday, the president said the federal government must guard against going too far in trying to fix the troubled economy, cautioning that “one of the worst things you can do is overcorrect.”

Federal Reserve. The Federal Government has NO oversight of “Federal” Reserve. And there is NO RESERVE, since they relay on a infinite capital in the form of an endless supply of paper or Canadian Tire-like money.
Thus, the ONLY rare and EXISTENT Capital there can ever is something physical and of value. Gold, Silver, Platinum, even crops like cotton and wheat, but not something as fictitious as printed paper.
Is Wall Street going to help America prosper once again? NO, because they, and along with those AMERICAN-BORN CORPORATIONS, have become Multinational Companies who will simply invest in other countries abroad, while leaving the US economy in ruins.

Great quote TJ… we should flood congress with flyers of this quote. I hear all the talking heads like Glen Beck defend the tax system and low taxes for the rich by saying that “you never get a job from a poor person”… they say high taxes to the wealthy prevent small business owners from creating jobs and stimulating the economy. This is true… but lumping those born and bred into extreme wealth or the fortunate who end up controlling entire sectors of economies with the average, hard working small business owners that make up 70% of our economy… this is a sneaky fucking trick…and it’s insane if you love America.
The ability of the top 20,000 families in this country to diversify wealth and to hedge their bets upon human and world calamity… is criminal and not American. To defend visciously a system whereby we buy and sell with fiat money and reduce our flesh and blood to fiat humans who are slaves in a never ending game of pass the buck…is not what this country and our glorious system was devised for…

Maybe they will reign in the derivatives market, restructure the debt of the sub prime foreclosures and after some bank failures, then maybe they will peg the dollar to the Euro.
And lo and behold boom times again!
Its all about faith and confidence in any given currency.
I think food and oil and Human production are the bottom currency.

Or we don’t want to Pull the plug on a sinking ship. thats what i got out of it. Sometimes im wondering too, is if there thinking of disclosing some of those 9/11 truths im sure there hearing of as well as those conspiracy theories. Its Like a Business contract. You don’t open the contract up because then EVERYTHING has to be renegotiated. One subject in a contract effects the other. And we all know what it means to sign on the Dotted Line!
