Bush told Houston Journalist: If Elected, “I’m Going to Invade Iraq”

Two years before the 9/11 attacks on America, George W. Bush told a Houston journalist if elected president, “I’m going to invade Iraq.”
Bush made the comments about starting an aggressive war to veteran Houston Chronicle reporter Mickey Herskowitz, then working with Bush on his book “A Charge To Keep,” later brought out by publisher William Morrow.
This disclosure was uncovered by Russ Baker, an award-winning investigative reporter when he interviewed Herskowitz for his own book, “Family of Secrets” (Bloomsbury Press) about the Bush dynasty. However, Baker says, when he approached The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times with the potentially devastating story to President Bush prior to the 2004 presidential election, they declined to publish it.

Bush told Herskowitz that his father (President George H.W. Bush) knew that from Panama and (President Ronald)Reagan knew that from Grenada and…(UK Prime Minister)Maggie Thatcher knew this from the Falklands.”
According to Baker, Bush told Herskowitz, “The ideal thing was a small war, and this is why Bush said nobody was going to be killed in Iraq because he thought it would be small war.”
Bush co-authored his book “A Charge To Keep” with Karen Hughes. In his introduction to the work, Bush wrote, “I thank Mickey Herskowitz for his help and work in getting the project started.”
Baker said he believed if a major daily ran his Herskowitz interview it “could have changed the election” but “I could not get it published.” The story was turned down by both The Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post. He described the Post as “scared because of the Dan Rather thing, and they said to me, ‘What do you have in the way of evidence?’” Baker replied, “Here’s a tape of Mickey Herskowitz, who’s published 20-some books, long-time journalist of the Houston Chronicle, friend of the Bush family, telling me this story.” The Post said, “It’s not enough. In this climate, we need Bush on tape saying this.” Expressing his disappointment over the rejection, Baker said, “Well, that standard has never applied anywhere.”
The story about Bush’s comments to Herskowitz is one of many about the frustrations journalists face in getting the truth to the public that appear in “Media In Crisis.” The book contains the comments of five Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists, among others, and officials of various journalism foundations, as well as veteran broadcasters. The book also covers the economic woes of daily newspapers and their future, the rise of Internet bloggers and other news-purveying media, the quality of reporting, and the quality of instruction in journalism schools.

I do recall the story about the Mickey Herskovitz who was writing a book about Bush. As I recall
he told Herskovitz that he wanted to be a “war president” in order to get reelected [unlike his dad

I believe you. I worked for an engineering company in Dallas that got a contract in 2000. I was on their survey crew. Our job was to bring one of the largest {if not the largest} U.S. Army ammo storage facilities back on line so that they could start shipping munitions out on a timly basis. We were surveying all the rail road spur lines and loading docks at the storage bunkers so that the tracks and docks could once again start running trains on tracks that had been pretty much idle since Viet Nam.
This was a very large facility covering 10’s of thousands of acres and had storage of everything from 45 cal. ammo to 8 inch and larger artillary rounds. It was gearing up for a war at least a year before 9/11. They were in such a hurry that they did not even run standard background checks on the contractors that were doing the jobs.
At the time,what I found strange was that our company was owned by Iranian engineers and they got the contract based on the fact that they were a minority owned business. Every evening we would send these Iranian engineers the state-plane coordinates on all the underground bunkers and railroad spurs that we had shot in that day.
I had worked on government defense projects before and had always had to submit all my past addresses,my complete legal name, any legal convictions etc. about a month ahead of entering the sites so that the FBI could do background checks and get us all approved to enter the sites. Not so in this rush job. We just drove up there and presented our driver’s licenses and went to work shooting in the “XYZ” coordinates and then turning them in to these Iranian engineers.

The main reason I do not like bush existed before 9/11. When I was drafted in 68 and went to Nam, there were many times that We needed air support because of being pinned down and could not get any. It is said that Bush can fly a fighter plane. He used his political and monetary connections to get out of being drafted or joining a real fighting unit. He fixed it so that he would never be exposed to combat or even have to leave the U.S.
He was a coward and I just do not like cowards. Had he used his flying skills to come and save some American ground troops like so many other honorable pilots did then I could find a reason to respect him but he not only pulled strings to stay out of combat,he went “AWOL” stayed more than 30 days AWOL thusly becomming a deserter. Men have been shot for less.

This is fairly easy to understand, but for some reason I keep getting censored for saying it.

It should be obvious that the Bush administration and current leaders are no longer serving America and our founding principles and in fact are in the process of rapid annihilation of our Constitution, Bill of Rights, economic sovereignty, as a full out attack on America continues to pave the way for a new union beyond the Trilateral and fully supportive of the emergence of the NWO.
The events of 9/11 was the spring board, where they took every advantage of the “crisis event” to justify the total annihilation of every aspect of America’s sovereignty, leaving no law or means for We The People to resist total assimilation into this UNDISCLOSED, new form of world government. This being a disclosure of a disclosure, no one should be surprised that mainstream newspapers, who are on the NWO payroll anyway, wouldn’t publish the story. I think Bush’s comment just proves that he had no concept of “constitutional law and rights”. He could have crafted his comment something like “I will try to get congressional approval and popular support in an anticipated attack on Iraq” but no, he had to be arrogant and king-like in his approach to that comment, as he was in his approach to the presidency. Bush could not care less about the laws that govern society.

I think there was already a war there, and Bush made is obvious to everyone that it was happening and we shouldn’t ignore it. He was so obvious about being interested in oil that everyone caught on to the idea that big oil was is control of the government.

I am 63 yrs old. I have watched how this government (whether rep or dem) has eroded our constitutional rights bit by bit. Soon there will be no rights. We have allowed our representatives to cower before big money interests. We the people do not have the backbone to revolt. We have our TV and our DVDs, our beer and our sex. What do we care about rights and obscure concepts like sovereignty, social justice, rule of law? Soon we as Americans will be buried by the hoards of barbarians and materialists that are now emerging in large numbers as we sit and watch and complain without a clue as to the severity of the threat which is evolving perniciously day by day. We watch, we wait, we are helpless. The world is changing for the worse. Social evolution has produced a self-destruct instinct which manifests itself in the form of deceit, greed, dominance. We have chosen our Gods. Let our Gods lead the way.

The Iraqi invasion of Kuwait back in 1990 and the war that followed were staged events. It was about the United States establishing a greater miltary presence in the region and poisoning so many of the troops who served over there.

George W. Bush continuously criminally stalked Margie Schoedinger to the point that she could not get away from it, and she committed suicide in desperation to escape: he murdered her.

As Schoedinger said, she was strongly recommended to keep her mouth shut. . . . Furthermore, she alleges that George Bush ordered to show pressure on her to the point, when she commits suicide” (blog of drizzten).
“One of those ‘very leasts’ [was] George Bush’s personal complicity in the death (murder to be precise) of my friend Margie Schoedinger in September of 2003. Determining the exact whereabouts and contacts of [then] president-elect George Bush on September 21 thru 22, 2003, should be entirely lacking in difficulty” (Leola McConnell—Nevada Progressive Democratic Candidate for U.S. Senate in 2010).
Leola McConnell is correct: Bush applying pressure (continuously criminally stalking Margie Schoedinger) purposefully to force Schoedinger to commit suicide does in fact constitute murder where it culminated in her death.
BEWARE: If the president of the United States hates one—for whatever reasons—he can continuously criminally stalk one to the point that one cannot get away from it, and one ultimately commits suicide in desperation to escape. He can murder people in this way.
Bush is getting away with his murder of Schoedinger—with no sheriff, prosecutor, or court willing to uphold the rule of law.
Bush’s method of murdering Schoedinger cannot exist in a vacuum: he must have murdered other people in the same way.
Bush should confess, come out with the names of all of the people whom he murdered in the disgusting way he murdered Schoedinger, undergo execution, and accordingly find himself at the intersection where he would be free.
