Cairo Battleground: Egyptians clash violently on Tahrir square

Clashes have flared up on the streets of the Egyptian capital Cairo between members of the opposition and protesters rallying to support the current President Hosny Mubarak. The country’s leader announced he won’t seek re-election in September’s vote – after more than a week of violent demonstrations across the country urging him to step down.
