A Northern California deputy sheriff who works with an anti-narcotics task force was arrested in Pennsylvania last week after being caught with about 250 pounds of marijuana, valued at approximately $2 million, as reported by The New York Times.

York County district attorney Tom Kearney announced the arrest details Monday.

Christopher M. Heath, the deputy in question, drove from California to Pennsylvania to deliver marijuana to someone in West Manheim Township, according to Kearney.
