Canada says global banking body needed in 2009

Canada’s position at the upcoming meeting of Group of Seven finance ministers will be that each country must get its own financial system in order, but that an international body is also urgently needed to restore confidence, Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Wednesday.
Flaherty told Reuters he expected the final communique of the meeting in Rome on Feb 13-14 to reflect policymakers’ concerns about “the inflexibility of some Asian currencies” and suggested that Canada had discussed the subject with the new Obama administration.
“I expect it to be raised. I spoke with U.S. Secretary Geithner yesterday about a number of issues. I won’t get into what issues we discussed of course,” he said.

Only an idiot would think that a global banking body is needed after the global depression we are experiencing.
At least in the Great Depression it was isolated mainly to the U.S.

Ofcourse they d think were morons, and in general we are. Everyone I know says the FED is the government and they have no control over the economy except for trying to fix it. People that know about this website on the other hand, beleive different. They can pull anything off, because most people don’t beleive anything they didn’t see on the daily news. More young people are open to new ideas, and are on the internet much more, so the other views of the world are become much more popular.

Naturally, the villagers were left with no gold, so they devised their own currency with turnips, leaving the king the poorest man in his own kingdom.

I just wanted to post a link on this site to let the Canadian Patriots know that we do have a voice here in Canada as well. Alex does a fantastic job, but our laws are diffrent here, but we are facing the very same problems. Unfortunatly Canadians are very apathetic, and most Canadians will scream kick and raise hell when confronted with truth. Thankfully we have a growing number of Canadians waking up every day.
