“Our leaders have not decided on the fate of this soldier,” said a commander with the Taliban’s hard-line Haqqani faction, according to Agence-France Press. “They will decide on his fate and soon we will present video tapes of the coalition soldier and our demand to media.”
The identity of the captured soldier has not been released in order to protect his safety while U.S. troops desperately comb the area for him.

I say we boycott the Alex Jones show until he clarifies or takes back what he said about gay couples adopting kids yesterday. That was something that I would expect from Mike Savage I thought Alex was more of a free thinker and believer in equality than that. I am so disapointed….anyone else? I think this was just a slimy attempt to pander to the religious bigots that tune into his show and/or provide funding, either way it was a disgusting comment that shouldn’t be allowed to slide.

I thought it was bad after Viet Nam, but those who served in Desert Storm and now in Iraq and Afghanistan will be treated even with less care from the VA. They WANT vets to just go away and dying would be even better in their eyes. With the previous and present Presidents, the vets are/have been treated like crap and it will only get worse. All returning vets are to be treated as potential enemies of the state, and will not be allowed to own firearms. It’s alright to use firearms on peoples of other nations, but vets can’t be trusted to fall in line with the fascist laws he’s pushing down our throats. I really feel badly for those who volunteered to serve in the Armed Forces only to be treated like trash when they come home.

A Taliban commander told CNN the soldier was snatched along with three Afghan soldiers after he got drunk during a visit to a local military post.
A U.S. military official denied that claim and said it was highly unlikely the soldier would have left the combat outpost on his own.
“The Taliban are known for lying, and what they are claiming is not true,” the official said.

For about 6 months I had an infection in my nostrils. They would be raw inside and bleed if touched with a q-tip. I saw the doc, had some tests done. He said I didn’t have anything wrong. Well first off, I hope the seals or recon finds him before they cut his head off on al jazerra… even though the us government and certain elements of the military torture suspected terrorists that doesnt mean every united states soldier, airmen, sailor or marine does. and to say that its ok for the taliban to torture one of our soldiers is fucked up. all we do in the military is do what we are told or suffer the consequences of not doing so… no one ever asks us , if we want to go fight a phone war, they tell us we have to, so thats what we do. i wish we could refuse to go, but in the end you will be forced to go and lose a bunch of money , your rank and what little freedom you do have in the military. and if you just go ua then you’ll probably get a shitty discharge that will fuck up your benefits and your chances of getting a decent job when you get out. all of the fucked up shit that happens over here in iraq and afgan you always see the sgt, cpl or lcpl and below get charged, you never see the real people that ordered you to do so get into trouble. they just get “relieved” of command, did you know it takes an act of congress to take away a SNCO’s rank away, thats staff non commissioned officer, thats nearly impossible to do too. bottom line is the true badguys are the officers and snco’s. we had a staff seargent in my platoon that got 2 DUI’s and a hit and run , he hit a little kid on a bike and drove away in camp lejeune. but all he got was restriction to the barracks and not allowed to reenlist. but if a sgt or below does it, we get fucking burned, and run up the flag pole. its bullshit, if your an e5 or below, you dont mean shit, we are basically slaves in the marine corps. so before you all go blaming all of the military think of this… regardless of how bullshit the war is, if you saw your best friend, your brother in arms get his head blown off in front of you, or the vehicle in front of you with all your friends in it get blown to pieces and all thats left is pieces of bones and blood splatters, wouldnt you be pissed??? just so all of you know, the ROE and EOF in iraq has completely changed from what its used to be, its nearly impossible to fire your weapon even if your defending yourself! there is an investigation every time we fire a weapon, and thats not good. they are basically leaving us out to dry in the enemies crosshairs. they dont give a shit though, most insurgents set a bomb and hide amongst the civilians, or they shoot at us from a mosque, or they shoot at us when they are in a crowd of civilians. just bring us home so we dont have to deal with this bullshit anymore. war is war regretfully and innocent people always get stuck in the middle. im by no means a supporter of the war but since i am in the military and in iraq shouldnt we be able to defend ourselves? or should we just let the insurgents kill us? would that make yall happy or what??? all of us out here want to go home, and im sure you all want us there too…so bring us home. we dont got a say in it, you do… im glad i aint in afgan, those guys got it shitty over there, they live in tents, they only got electricity 5 hrs at best a day, and no running water, which means no showers or bathrooms. they dont even have porta johns. they shit in a bag then they throw it away. im sure they’d love to come home too… so bring us home. you should never say we are the bad guys, we are the same as all of you, we have moms, dads, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, and wives and husbands. support the troops doesnt mean support the war, dont get them mixed up. we know is bs, or atleast some of us do. i really enjoy the people that the show presents. there is very informative information on this program. what disappoints me is that so many people truly believe that alex is a man of principles and sacrificing for the greater good and sacrificing himself financially.
1. before alex was william cooper. and unlike alex HE PREDICTED 911. alex rode his coattails. how dare alex say he had the acumen to decipher the media and call that prediction.
2. several years back alex was invited to this christians home in texas who was having problems with the police wanting to raid his ranch. he interviewed this man because this man TRUSTED alex. alex allegedly then turned around and sold him down the river to ABC news( the interview) for like a pathetic few hundred dollars. ALEX is motivated by your money people, dont doubt his intentions!
3. alex would truly gain many peoples trust if he was willing to publish the way the money from the moneybomb was spent. if his intentions are altruistic, dont you think it would just be natural for him to want to LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW THEIR MONEY WAS SPENT??
4. i heard alex’s rant today about chastising infowarstv.com for potentially taking money away from ALEX”S businesses. check out infowarstv.com. he presents it alot better than i.

What is the militia? The term “militia” consists of two parts: the organized militia and the unorganized militia. According to the organic Maine Constitution and backed by the United States Code, the organized militia is the standing military force in the state (the “State Guard”) while the unorganized militia (which is commonly called the militia) consists of all other males between the ages of 17 and 45 (or 65 if they have prior military service). The militia was established for the purpose of defending the state (a sovereign nation) and the United States of America (a union of nations) from all enemies “foreign and domestic” based upon principles of community self defense established hundreds of years before the nation was formed. However, while the organized militia was tasked with the defenses of the states, our forefathers, having just fought their own government, did not place their entire trust in the government or a standing army to protect them but reserved the right and the means to protect themselves – thus the unorganized militia. The militia was and is a defensive body set up so that its members can take care of normal peace by internal lawless elements, or government usurpation of the rights and power of the people guaranteed by the Constitution, there is a group of people that owe their allegiance to no one except God and their fellow Americans who desire to remain free.
The mission and purpose of the militia have not changed. What has changed is the status of the organized militia. The “State Guard” with the duty and obligation of protecting the state is now under federal jurisdiction (the “National Guard”) thereby obligating it only to the federal government making the unorganized militia the only constitutional force available for the defense of the state.

I don’t believe in this war in Afganistan, but if they are valuing AN American soldier and using his life as a term for there demands, then i say IF they wind up killing this soldier, then let the United States make the whole continant of Afganistan rumble by Massive Bombings in revenge for his life. Let them think that God hisself is coming down the mountains. Offer them 3 days to return the soldier, or Bomb them with Atomics like we never have before. Let the world know we are a country of our word and means. By allowing 3 days would allow the innocents to flee before we annialated the whole damn country. Time we make our true presence known. Hell yeah BobLee, people don’t remember how “stupid” they were before they woke up. I signed up with patriotism and duty filling my head. I left disillusioned but lucky to have seen the right things at the right time, talked to the right people, and see the truth.
To everyone else; This kid probably never had a chance to figure things out, and he’s probably a goner to keep exploiting the sleepers as much as possible and as often as possible before EVERYONE wakes up.

First,I spent 4 years in the Marines(1983-87)
Before we roundly condemn those that took the POW(that’s exactly what he is),let’s stop and think for a moment,what would all of you do if Iraqi’s or Afghani’s bombed the hell out of your town knocking out all electric,sewer and water for years, invaded your town,kicked in the doors of you and your neighbors homes at 3am to take weapons and scare the shit out of the residents,occassionally raped and killed a 14 year old girl(but not too often) and killed thousands of your countrymen by mistake with their violent invasion.
I don’t know about you,but I would be considered an “insurgent” and I would happily attack and kill those invaders if at all possible.
Let’s keep that in mind before we claim that the roadside bombs are “evil” and placed by “mean extremists”.
