Almost a third of Britons would support a law capping the number of children per family, according to a survey by the London newspaper Metro.

Limiting parents to having just one or two children was necessary to combat over-population, according to 29% of those surveyed.

Less than half said they would oppose such a law, similar to those imposed on Chinese families who restrict parents to one child per family.

The British population is currently 61 million and is set to exceed 70 million by 2029. However, none of the main political parties has ever suggested limiting the number of children families can have.

The correspondence between dozens of climate-change researchers, including many in the U.S., illustrates bitter feelings among those who believe human activities cause global warming toward rivals who argue that the link between humans and climate change remains uncertain.

Some emails also refer to efforts by scientists who believe man is causing global warming to exclude contrary views from important scientific publications.

“This is horrible,” said Pat Michaels, a climate scientist at the Cato Institute in Washington who is mentioned negatively in the emails. “This is what everyone feared. Over the years, it has become increasingly difficult for anyone who does not view global warming as an end-of-the-world issue to publish papers. This isn’t questionable practice, this is unethical.”

Germany signed a secret contract to prepare for a pandemic of deadly flu – in 2007!

BILD has revealed the agreement with pharmaceutical firm GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) which was apparently signed from an underlying fear of the bird flu virus. It came into affect when the swine flu pandemic began.

And you can read portions of the ‘Agreement between the German government and its states and GSK’ regarding the preparation of a vaccine for the killer virus in Germany:

QUANTITY

“GSK offers all states… the possibility… to buy 25 per cent of its Dresden-produced pandemic vaccine, to a maximum quantity necessary to supply 50 per cent of the German population.”

Meaning: At most, half of Germany will be provided for.

PRICE

“The buying price… is €7 plus tax per dose, €1 of which is covers the antigen components and €6… the booster components.”

Meaning: The serum itself only costs €1 per dose; it’s the booster that is expensive.

This morning Lord Lawson, who has reinvented himself as a prominent climate change sceptic since leaving front line politics, demanded that the apparent deception be fully investigated.

He claimed that the credibility of the university’s world-renowned Climatic Research Unit – and British science – were under threat.

“They should set up a public inquiry under someone who is totally respected and get to the truth,” he told the BBC Radio Four Today programme.

Researchers at the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, England, were victims of a cyberattack by hackers sometime Thursday. A collection of emails dating back to the mid-1990s as well as scientific documents were splashed across the Internet. University officials confirmed the hacker attack, but couldn’t immediately confirm the authenticity of all the documents posted on the Internet.

The publicly posted material includes years of correspondence among leading climate researchers, most of whom participate in the preparation of climate-change reports for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the authoritative summaries of global climate science that influence policy makers around the world.

The new EU President, Herman Van Rompuy, has proclaimed 2009 as the “first year of global governance.” During Rompuy’s intervention as President on November 19th, he stated,

“2009 is also the first year of global governance, with the establishment of the G20 in the middle of the financial crisis. The climate conference in Copenhagen is another step towards the global management of our planet.”

Rompuy attended a Bilderberg dinner at Hertoginnendal, Brussels on November 15th, during which he announced a plan to implement EU wide taxes that will be paid directly to Brussels. Recently Mario Borghezio (Italy), member of the European Parliament, spoke openly against the influence of globalist organizations such as the Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission. “Is it possible that no one has noticed that all 3 (EU Presidential candidates) frequently attend Bilderberg or Trilateral meetings?,” asked Borghezio. Rompuy will undoubtedly serve globalist interests during his reign of the European Union.

Climate change sceptics who have studied the emails allege that they provide “smoking gun” evidence that some of the climatologists colluded in manipulating data to support the widely held view among the world’s climatologists that climate change is real and is being largely caused by the actions of mankind. So far the veracity of the emails has not been confirmed and the scientists involved have declined to comment on the story which broke on a blog called The Air Vent.

The files, which in total amount to 61Mb of data, were first uploaded onto a Russian server, before being widely mirrored across the internet. The emails were accompanied by the anonymous statement, “We feel that climate science is, in the current situation, too important to be kept under wraps. We hereby release a random selection of correspondence, code, and documents. Hopefully it will give some insight into the science and the people behind it.”

A motion to suspend the student club status granted to Choose Life was passed 16-7 on Nov. 12 by the Student Society of McGill University (SSMU).

Choose Life has been criticized on different Canadian campuses for distributing graphic anti-abortion literature, including on McGill’s downtown campus.

A meeting organized this fall by the group, which included a speaker who compared abortion to genocide and the Holocaust, soured when pro-choice students stormed the gathering.

Asked whether he plans to enter politics or public life, Mr bin Laden said: “I do not believe that I would be a good politician – I have a habit of speaking the truth, even when it does not serve me well.
