CDC reports on adverse reactions to Gardasil vaccine

Almost 8,000 U.S. recipients of the vaccine used to protect against cervical cancer have reported adverse reactions, ranging from pain at the injection site to serious side-effects, says the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
A total of 7,802 people who received Gardasil, made by Merck and Co. Inc., have reported adverse events to the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) between June 8, 2006, and April 30, 2008. The United States distributed 2.2 million doses of the vaccine in 2006 and 11.3 million in 2007.
Of the people who reported adverse reactions, the most common side-effect was pain at the injection site, according to a recent CDC report.

Seven per cent had serious side-effects — "about half" the average of vaccines overall, according to the report. There were 31 reported cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), a neurological condition that results in temporary but often total body paralysis, with 10 cases confirmed.
Fifteen deaths were also reported, with 10 of these containing the level of information required for further analysis, according to the CDC.
"After careful review of those reports, we could not establish the causal relationship between vaccination and death," reads the VAERS report.
The report notes that when Gardasil was being tested in the U.S. before being licensed, 10 individuals who were in the group that received the vaccine died, and seven in the placebo group died. None of these deaths were considered vaccine-related.
All Canadian provinces starting HPV vaccinations
Health Canada approved Gardasil on July 18, 2006. Since then, all 10 provinces have started or said they would be starting vaccination programs. Nova Scotia led the way, announcing in June 2007 that it would begin offering vaccinations to girls in Grade 7.
As of Jan. 8, 2008, the Public Health Agency of Canada had received a total of 145 reports of adverse events following vaccination with Gardasil, none of which were of death or Guillain-Barré syndrome, according to the agency.
"These reports are mostly of minor adverse events, including injection site reactions, which are consistent with the results reported by clinical trials conducted prior to the approval of the vaccine, and can be expected with the administration of any vaccine," reads PHAC’s website.
The vaccine works by boosting the immune system so that it effectively fights off four types of human papillomavirus, the most prevalent STD in modern society. In North America, HPV is said to infect half of all sexually active women between 18 and 22.
It’s estimated that about 1,300 women contract the sexually transmitted virus each year in Canada. About 400 women in Canada die of cervical cancer annually — making it the second most common type of cancer for women between the age of 20 and 44.

just AMAZING to me what parents do to their children, yet youre not allowed to kiss them (a new law in england)!!!! Merck of all people made the vaccine, the same company who is on video LAUGHING about how they contaminated the polio vaccine with CANCER and AIDS!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Its hard for me to believe people are this stupid. I post all the information I find out about on my Myspace in the bulletin part to try and spread the word and people just dont care, its truly sickening. Excuse me, I need to go VOMIT!!!!!!

I told people on my blog that this is what is real, and NOW all of the sudden some people are taking notice. Our world is going to Hell in a hand basket, as my mom says, and I am just hanging on till I die. DO NOT GET YOUR KIDS VACCINATED FOR ANYTHING! THEY WILL DIE FROM THE VACCINES!
It is sickening to see our society as sex, sex and well, more SEX! That is all people think, read, watch and get vaccinated for is something that has to do with immoral sex outside of marriage. It makes me depressed, but we have to go on and hope that God will help us to help others to see the light.

What do these vaccines actually do? I think their is a sinister purpose behind these vaccines. One theory of mine, is the suppression of the immune system with adverse effects on the central nervous system. I see energy that surrounds us as continuously changing, we can experience this by perceiving the nature of the wind. The wind is actually prana,consciousness all in one. I’ve noticed that the earth is becoming warmer, I think we are heading towards higher energy states that will be absorbed by our energy body. I think the purpose of this god-influenced phenomenom is to awaken our kundalini energy.
This is the true purpose of aspartame,fluoride,vaccines all to suppress the human body from reaching higher states of energy and mind.

i just had a newborn, i am really worried about all this talk about vaccines, I have not had a flu shot in like 8 years and knock on wood i am good to go, so what should i look out for anyone know. I am really weary of like the hepititis b shot and any others.

from having sex, give her a shot and send her on her way! What they don’t tell you is this can be spread whether you have the vaccine or not. This is not an internal virus. It lives on your skin and is spread by
contact. So even if this mickey mouse vaccine worked it would not keep it from being spread to a secondary
partner.

when my daughter turned 11 i was notified by her school she was to recieve another vaccination and was given a form to bring back signed by her doctor. i never did and eventually they stopped asking. i also think the reason for that was a christian woman who worked in the office already knew what i did. when applying for social service benefits i was asked to show proof of daughters immunization records incl. proof of current vaccination . i declined and had to speak to a supervisor. needless to say people do have the right to say no. just today at the doctors office i was asked to sign a form having to do with something i really didnt understand concerning daughters immunizations and her doctor. again i declined. i was first told about vaccinations from my chiropractor. this man is not only intelligent but one of the kindest men i have ever had the honor of knowing. though hes a christian and i am not we know truth from a lie even if we dont see eye to eye on religion.

I don’t have daughters but there is no way in hell I’d let a daughter get this shot. It should be taken off the market immediately.
Re vaccines in general, they are toxic and poisonous. My little one is 16 months old and has never had a shot in his life, and he never will as long as I’m alive to prevent it. Most parents I know are constantly dealing with sick children. Their kids are always on antibiotics, or have allergies, or asthma, or learning disabilities. My son has never been sick, never taken an antibiotic, has no allergies or asthma, and is developing normally. Refusing to vaccinate him was the best decision I have ever made. The second best was finding a doctor who agrees with me.
People need to wake up and realize that vaccines are hurting kids way more than they are helping. Most “vaccine preventable” diseases virtually disappeared with the advent of better sanitation and nutrition. Vaccines were not responsible for eradicating polio, measles, and other such diseases, contrary to what the propaganda says. Additionally, some illnesses are beneficial for children to contract, like chicken pox, since they strengthen the immune system.
Now that kids receive 40+ vaccines, we are left with a nation of chronically ill, learning disabled children. Is this preferable to nursing a kid through two weeks of chicken pox or even measles? I think not.

Sure, Gardasil has been the subject of extensive adverse event reporting that should be upsetting to anyone. But even worse, some experts are saying that it is being used on entirely too young a population. Its known duration of effectiveness is 5 years. Cervical cancer is virtually unheard of in young woman, as their bodies are believed to be able to fight it off, and thus the average patient with it is 47. So when does Merck want you to vaccinate your daughter? At age 11. Merck’s ads say that “only your doctor can decide if Gardasil is right for your daughter.” For those parents who think they should actually also have a say in this decision, read below:

I would like to add that the practice of vaccinating a newborn baby for Hepatitis B is nothing short of criminal. Hepatitis B primarily affects drug users and promiscuous people. Unless the mother is confirmed to have Hepatitis B, there is no reason a baby needs this shot. Yet a baby typically receives this shot within minutes of being born. Even tiny preemies receive this shot, which by the way contains aluminum and trace amounts of mercury, among other things. It’s a crime and an outrage. Parents, wake up! Exercise your right to refuse vaccinations!

In the eighties congress gave the fda permission to start handing out medication that had little or no testing done. Why? Because the pharma co.s paid ‘em. They don’t even know what they’re handing out for the most part. ITS NOTHING BUT POISON. All of it. They make ya sick and sell ya the cure(but there ain’t a cure- its death). If it wasn’t for mercury based vaccines, I don’t think people would be as adverse or suspicious of vaccines. If done right, they save lives, not take them. It seems that the first generation of medicine or vaccine recipients are guinea pigs. That doesn’t help.

These numbers are incredible. Do the math!
7% severe reactions….. so 7 of 100 have a big problem. 1300 Women in Canada get THE sexually transmitted disease, but the VACCINE doesn’t cover every version of the virus, so what’s the real percent that can be potentially helped by the vaccine – it’s somewhere under 1300. Same goes for the 400 deaths. The cancer comes from several versions of the virsus. So death protection, is at best something under 400. Now how many girls do we vaccinate to get 400 SEVERE REACTIONS? 60×100 = 6000 girls with an incident of slightly more than 7% SEVERE REACTIONS (aka 400). How about the 1300 with the disease = that’s vaccinating 18,600 with a slightly higher than 7% (aka 1300) group of severe reaction.

It’s mandatory in the Netherlands right now. There starting with every twelve year old girl, the rest (till sixteen ) will follow soon. I saw it on the Duth news yesterday, there all acting like its preventing cancer and they do not tell of the side-effects or gardasil link. Im informing as many people that will listen

I’m telling you people I’m almost tired of warning people about these vaccines. The brainwashing is way too deep. I used to go in depth about the mercury, aluminum, biological contaminants and so on just to have the person treat me like some nut case and argue with me instead of doing their own research. I even had a colleague of mine, another nurse, tell me” oh well mercury is in alot of stuff” She had a son 3 months after I did, vaccinated of course. So I try,to a point, after that I figure if they are too stupid then so be it.
