Celebrities Pledge Cult-Like “Service” To Obama Government

A mind-numbingly cringeworthy and deeply disturbing MySpace video release shows vacuous celebrities pledging their “service” to the incoming Obama government in the form of activities such as not flushing the toilet after taking a piss and selling their “obnoxious” cars.
The video was produced by actress Demi Moore for the MySpace Presidential Pledge project, and features a gaggle of highly annoying actors, singers and other patent phonies such as Sean P. “Diddy” Combs, Courtney Cox Arquette and Ashton Kutcher.
“The Presidential Pledge is a platform for people across the nation and throughout the world to make a first person commitment of service to our new President, articulating a specific intent or action to become an agent of positive change,” said Kutcher.
In the video, Sean P. “Diddy” Combs pledges to “turn the lights off,” presumably to help Obama combat “global warming” as America freezes under record low temperatures, while actor Jason Bateman promises to “flush only after a deuce never a single” and another celebrity states his pledge to “sell my obnoxious car and drive a hybrid”. Red Hot Chili Peppers front man Anthony Kiedis pledges “to be of service to Barack Obama”.

At the end of the clip, in perhaps the creepiest moment, Moore and Kutcher pledge to “be a servant to our President” as the shot pans out to show all the actors echoing a cult-like mantra, “because together we can, together we are and together we will be the change that we see,” as the shot morphs into the now familiar Marxist motif 1984-style image of Obama.
Several respondents to the video noted that the sentiments expressed were at best misguided and at worst “creepy,” “sick” and “cult-like”.
Forgive my skepticism, but millionaire celebrities vacuously pledging to “plant 500 trees” when the American economy teeters on the brink of a depression that Obama’s stated policies for combating “global warming” will only make worse just doesn’t inspire me at all.
Furthermore, since when were the American people supposed to swear allegiance and pledge “service” to a President? The U.S. Constitution, that piece of paper that Obama will swear to defend and protect later today, states quite clearly that elected representatives are supposed to act in “service” of the people’s best interests, not the other way around.
Of course, the most disturbing aspect to all this cult-like messiah complex and “service” of government is Barack Obama’s intention to take this notion of “service,” which is embraced by many well-meaning but naive people, and turn it against the American middle class in the form of Stasi-like informants spying on those that choose not to sacrifice their freedom and prosperity in the name of saving the planet from the menace of a problem wholly concocted and exploited by the very elite that Obama represents.
Indeed, the woman overseeing Obama’s climate agenda, Carol Browner, is a card-carrying member of Socialist International, an organization that has resolved to use the threat of global warming as a means to facilitate the creation of a system of global government.
How many of Obama’s promised “national civilian security force,” a cadre we are guaranteed will be as strong or stronger than the U.S. Army, will make the “pledge” to spy on their neighbors for enviro-crimes and report them to the local green commissariat?
Perhaps these celebrities should spend less time worrying about when its morally right to flush the toilet and more time asking Obama and Biden about their “pledge” to protect Bush administration war criminals from prosecution.
Perhaps they should concern themselves more with Obama’s “pledge” to do nothing to stop Israel’s incessant and barbarian slaughter of Palestinian men, women and children in Gaza.
That really would be of “service,” but only to the American people, humanity in general, and future generations, and not to the Obama government’s domestic political agenda.

This video is unbelievable. We are in serious trouble if most of America is as naive as these Hollywood idiots. Unfortunately, most people still think that the president makes decisions. They don’t realize that his job is nothing more than PR. They are focused on the celebrity and the novelty of having a black president. Now, more than ever, we need to be vigilant.
We need to stop focusing on Obama. As is the case, we need to continuously point out that his job is ceremonial, PR, acting, etc. Obama is not the NWO, but he is their puppet. We should keep the attention where it belongs, because it is too easy to get into a debate on the finer points of what Obama is doing (listening to his Ipod or texting on his Blackberry). For now, it is his job to distract everyone with the novelty of “making history”.
I think that the attention should be kept on the actual criminal programs which are being perpetrated against us worldwide. The chemical spraying, mercury in vaccines, water fluoridation, GMO crops, etc is all much, much more important than nitpicking Obama’s PR campaign. And, that information isn’t up for debate. For example, you could debate for hours with someone over whether or not Obama’s rise to power resembles that of Mussolini, but water fluoridation and GMO foods are incontrovertible facts which any thinking person would be concerned about (if they were given the truth about these programs).

I don’t think their is anything wrong with people pledging to volunteer and helping charities. I think that is something America is missing, charity work. It’s about time people started being charitable and tell the government to stop it’s welfare state. But that all starts with giving our money back (income tax) so we can begin to help with more than just our time. I know A LOT of people who outside of church do not give a lot of time&money to the poor/needy because they think the government is doing charity work for them. Notice Ron Paul only spoke of the message-exactly what he felt should be done, in specifics- and discouraged people elevating him to a status above the American people. He proposed real solutions that would cut the feet out of the NWO and restore the potential for fair play and prosperity for all. If observed and honored to the letter, the constitution would work. Maybe those who told me to stop visiting sites like InfoWars all those years ago were right.
Please read carefully what I am about to write and digest it (and hopefully “get” it)… because if I’ve just spent the last few years with all of you (in the pursuit of the truth of 9/11 and in the removal of what has to be one of the darkest political period I’ve ever seen in my forty some years of life)… so listen up, because I may just be leaving your pessimistic, nihilistic, perpetual bad-vibe paranoid butts behind after today…
First and foremost – I did not vote for Obama, although I don’t hold any hatred for the man (and has, in fact, grown on me somewhat with his willingness – real or manufactured – to reach across party lines and listen to people who otherwise disagree with him).
Also – YES, I have a problem with ANYONE (and it’s not just celebrities – who I work with on a daily basis by the way as an entertainment promoter) that would blindly pledge allegiance to a President (from any party or way of thinking). Although – if one watches the video, the gentleman who says this line also just mentioned pledging allegiance to the funk. For god’s sake people, he kisses his tattooed biceps after saying that… I’m not sure how serious his statement should be taken (or read into)…
BUT that is NOT what this video is about anyways! It’s funny that some of you have grown so suspicious, so cynical (which ironically is exactly what the “opposing forces” would hope from you), that any mention of helping neighbors, doing something positive and serving (or volunteering – which would have been a better word I suppose for some of you) your community is now looked upon as some kind of nefarious and evil plot.
I must have been wrong in thinking that “our” common goal was to work towards a brighter future, to have pride in our political process again (no matter how slight), to inspire our youth, to heal the wounds of the past and to create a more stable and gasp – loving – America in the process.
Obama is NOT Jesus nor without flaw. I’ve never heard him say otherwise, nor have yet to see, read or find any reason to think otherwise. For those calling him the Antichrist – are you for real? I mean if the theme of uniting and uplifting spirits (no matter how trivial it may be) somehow equates to Lucifer or Satan, sign me up now.
I DO NOT agree with everything mentioned in this video, nor everything on InfoWars… but I do agree with people being able to speak their minds, make their own decisions and try, to the best of their ability, to encourage people to improve themselves and their communities.
Years ago people were on the warpath against rappers like Puffy Combs for spouting off lyrics about killing cops and disrespecting women. Now he reaches out to encourage people to do something positive (hell – if nothing else, maybe some kid will turn off the lights after leaving the house now and save a few pennies for his family – I think the idea here is to show that even the tiniest of things can have an impact and a payoff) and people still complain. Brilliant.
One of the major reasons I’ve heard from kids about why they “don’t care about nothin’” is because they feel as though nothing they do can make a difference. While most of us know that is complete bulls--- (at least if any of you have taken the time to get off the computer and actually spend some time volunteering and doing something with their lives) if this video (which appears to be aimed at the MTV set) makes a few young people feel empowered by shutting off a light or god forbid, not wasting water, then amen! I hope in inspires them to go on to even better and more positive changes in their lives. (And let’s not even debate the global warming situation – which I AGREE is one of the most over-hyped bunch of crap in the world – if nothing else, shutting off a light and reducing our waste of water, etc also helps US to save money. Duh).
For those of you who just can’t take it though, all these celebrities and common folks uniting and working towards a better America… get the hell out of the way. You are now part of the problem.

If all of your fears (about economic crisises and terror storms, etc) are true – then all we have left is to come together as a country. There is no more time for the old school racism (which I think secretly accounts for most of the statements to this video and against Obama in general), the fear as usual mentality or the cynical view that everything is wrong…
Not everything is a conspiracy, folks. Get over it.
