It would be comedic– if it weren’t so serious.
Al Gore & pals are trying to push through a very serious, very burdensome carbon tax, a new derivatives bubble stands to grow around it, and there is in fact no scientific consensus on the issue– and yet the chairman of the Commerce Subcommittee on Energy & Environment, Rep. Ed Markey cuts off every single member of the House who attempts to raise questions or challenge Al Gore’s claims in any way, shape or form.
While it happened to Reps. Scalise, Burgess and Barton, the most blatant example was to during questioning by Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR), who was repeatedly interrupted by the chairman’s gaveling. Walden, for his part, protested the rude breach of order, as he was trying to ask some rather mundane, yet mildly challenging questions about the role of the CO2 debate in regards to protecting the forests.

Walden rebuffs the interruption with a recognition of the childish behavior: “Mr. Chairman….” Chairman Markey proclaims he ‘wasn’t gaveling’ but only ‘tapping.’ Gore, on the otherhand, seemed free to rant & rave with little or any consideration of the formal time limits. The only gaveling during Gore’s testimony came when Congressmen tried to respond to his statements or address certain points.
Meanwhile, the cost of such a carbon tax could easily reach heights of $700 Billion per year, a serious blow that obviously must be debated and counteracted.

I think it’s bigger than that… Technology will usher in the ablilty to have renewable energy, Solar, wind, and so on… transportation, utilities, all could be free or greatly reduced in cost. The eviromental issue plays a huge role in how they plan to maintain control in the future.. In bolivia, a country so poor, peasants had to collect rain water, because they couldn’t afford the prices that the utility companies set… People were being arrested for doing this…
The new carbon taxes are a new profit scheme to replace the old ones.
As far as Right wing left wing, Forget about them, they are false ideologies enforced to devide the people. At least thats what I think. I just want the truth…. Does anyone have it?

My husband has been reading LaRouche for over 20 years and he has never found him to be wrong. And since just before the election I started reading his articles and I’m amazed at what is really going on in the world. You will be well informed about the world and who is behind the bad things that are going on all over the world. LaRouche is a brilliant man and he has a plan that would get us out of this financial mess that these elites have gotten us into. They are bankrupting our country and the financial elites are getting our tax dollars in the form of a bailout. LaRouche has been discreited so that no one will listen to him, he was even arrested and his newspaper was shut down. They don’t want the truth to get out. I highly recommend this site also!!

GE bought the rights to Astro Solar’s 4000 watt photovoltaic panel and took it off the market. That panel alone would give GE a monopoly in the solar power industry. Most panels max out at 200 watts. Shell Oil and British Petroleum are manufacturers ofthose weak panels. With 4 – 4K panels and a couple hydrogen fuels cells, you can take your house of the grid forever. Then you would pay any cap and trade or carbon tax. Fuck Algore.

There IS no truth. In the process, as you and your fears are exploited, you will find that you have voluntarily given away your rights and often also given up your responsibilities trustfully to the “dadda” and nanny state, or the global conspiracy people, or the deep greens, or whoever. It’s ALL crap – look to yourself.
Wake up to yourselves Yankees, why have you degenerated so far from what your founding fathers gave to you? Why does an Aussie descended from thieving convicts have to tell you this? Use your brains, there is no global conspiracy. Sure, there is a battle of ideas and for your brain, it has forever been thus. Keep your brain for yourself and not the panic-merchants, that is your job. There will be no global climate catastrophe. There really could be a flu’ pandemic so wash your hands with soap regularly and before eating and after & before blowing your nose, and don’t go kissing strangers. Belief in conspiracies leads to dangerous and irrational behaviours, such as the Germans believing that Jews controlled the world and then using this as an excuse to for genocide. But don’t think that the Germans were particularly different, because any group of people, in certain circumstances, can do exactly the same thing. Even us, here in Australia or the US, today.
Try to be rational, remember the drive for personal power that is within us all is the same drive that is behind religion, the green movement and conspiracy believers, it’s just that they are better at it than most of us of gaining ascendancy. Don’t let anyone “put it over you”, be proud of who you are and run your own brain. Take personal responsibility for your life as best you can, look after your family, believe in God if you will, raise your kids well, give them your time and love, care for your oldsters who gave you so much, try to keep your job, try not to use excessive credit for personal and family expenses, live within your means.
Try to remember that there’s people just like all of us in China, India, and even the Middle East or wherever, just trying to have a better life. Let them have a chance too. Isolationism and protectionism causes wars, where the young people are killed but old people survive, and so war and its precursors/preconditions are an evil only to be pursued at times of absolute necessity. Trade with nations, don’t try to tell them how they should govern themselves. But remember, eternal vigilance is the price of freedom.

the club of rome wrote a book called the first global revolution. in it they discuss ways to unite all of humanity. some of the things they come up with that would “fit the bill” were pollution, global warming, famine, etc. they say humanity’s true enemy is itself. this shows how communistic or collectivist the green movement is going to be. because they claim humanity is it’s own enemy they’ll tell us we all have to do the same things otherwise we might pose a threat to the common good. al gore is or was a member of the club of rome.

It seems odd, now that i’ve risen slightly above these clouds of lies, their true agenda seems all too obvious. The gaveling was just blatent disrespect during the middle of the debate. It is claimed that the USA will be bankrupt by 2019. However before this happens the government after painting itself into a corner. As there is a limit to income from taxes. It would be forced to have *confiscation* It is of no surprise that many rich will have second homes in far away places. We are ground zero. In 1992 on NBC they stated that in 20 years will come the first court case from the S & Ls from the events from about 1986-92. It will be a total shock to everyone and likely violent. The second massive trail comes 7 or more years after it…. So they known from the days of Clinton and I know that the legal acts will end it all by the courts. That is just before the government would threw congress anyway.

I really feel for truly descent “Greenies” who have fell hook, line and sinker for this deception. I was one of them. I think we all hoped there might be a curb in consumption, wasteful growth and production at all costs; a ceasation to the huge environmental and social costs that go with the mega-industrial processes world wide. I saw the video about the 10-in-one vitamin thing on this web site. I am ordering it because its on Alex Jones site and it sounds good. Has anyone been taking it? Any feed back on it. I ordered it cause it said if your not satisfied you can return the empty bottle and get your money back. I know i don’t get the vitamins i need everyday and i will take a shot every morning of that stuff if it gives me what i need 20 bucks a day. Not much for good health. We need to stop being divisive, left, right. There is global climate change but it has nothing to do with us. All the planets in our solar system are getting warmer, the bottom of the ocean is getting warmer than the top layer, if i’m not mistaken but heat rises. Venus has gotten brighter, the poles on Mars are melting, the red dot on Jupiter is getting smaller, apparently the last release of energy made by the Sun in 2001 was abnormally weaker than usual and is suppose to be larger in 2012 as this cycle of release happens every 11 years. This is a solar problem and can’t be solved through a carbon tax/cap and credits. How can you stop the sun?
