Cheney, Neocons Considered Killing Americans in Pretext to Attack Iran

In the video here, taped at the Campus Progress journalism conference earlier this month, the Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh reveals how the neocons convened around Dick Cheney and brainstormed ways to kick off World War IV, as they fondly call their pet project to take out the Muslims and foment a contrived “clash of civilizations.”
According to Hersh, this meeting occurred after the neocons failed miserably to stage a rehashed version of the Gulf of Tonkin incident in the Strait of Hormuz, mostly because it is no longer 1964 and such Big Lies — thanks to the internet and bloggers — are far more difficult to float. “For all I know, our Navy was shooting at whales out there,” quipped LBJ about the imaginary act of North Vietnamese boats supposedly attacking U.S. ships, leading to the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution and undeclared war in Southeast Asia, ultimately resulting in the death of nearly 60,000 Americans and around 3 million Southeast Asians.
In an exclusive Think Progress story, we learn the meeting took place in Cheney’s office and the subject on the table was “how to create a casus belli between Tehran and Washington,” part of an ongoing effort to provide an excuse to attack Iran. “There was a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war,” Hersh explains. “The one that interested me the most was why don’t we build — we in our shipyard — build four or five boats that look like Iranian PT boats. Put Navy seals on them with a lot of arms. And next time one of our boats goes to the Straits of Hormuz, start a shoot-up.”
Hersh would have us believe this scenario did not play out because “you can’t have Americans killing Americans,” an absurd explanation considering the fact the attacks of September 11 were just that — “Americans killing Americans,” a calculated and cold-blooded act of mass murder carried out by elements in the U.S. government as a “new Pearl Harbor,” a cynical pretext to launch the “war on terror,” now grinding into its seventh year.
Ominously, these “ideas” hark back to Operation Northwoods, the JSC plan to stage a false flag terror event — or a number of events — designed to provide a pretext to invade Cuba and take out Fidel Castro. Such “ideas” included “friendly Cubans” attacking the U.S. base at Guantanamo, shooting down a drone disguised as a chartered civil airliner and blaming it on Cuba, inciting riots and staging terror attacks in Miami, and other terrorist acts. Fortunately, then Secretary of Defense, Robert McNamara, put a kibosh to this insane plan.
More recently, in January, 2003, in the lead-up to the Iraq invasion George Bush and Tony Blair discussed painting planes in United Nations colors “in order to provoke an attack which could then be used to justify material breach” and thus set in motion an invasion, according to Philippe Sands, a leading British human rights lawyer (see Revealed: Bush and Blair discussed using American Spyplane in UN colors to lure Saddam into war, Channel Four News).

In fact, the neocons have not rested in their effort to foment war and force the support of the American people by way of deception. On May 16, 2008, Paul Joseph Watson, writing for Prison Planet, noted confidential recordings released under the Freedom of Information Act revealing the efforts of former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and top military analysts to cook up another terrorist attack on America in order to gain support for their ambitious plans to decimate Muslim culture. “The most extraordinary exchange takes place when Lt. Gen. Michael DeLong bemoans shrinking political support for Neo-Con war plans on Capitol Hill and suggests that sympathy for the Bush administration’s agenda will only be achieved after a new terror attack,” writes Watson. “Rumsfeld agrees that the psychological impact of 9/11 is wearing off and the ‘behavior pattern’ of citizens in both the U.S. and Europe suggests that they are unconcerned about the threat of terror.” Rumsfeld characterizes Bush as “a victim of success” because America has not suffered “an attack in five years” and for Rumsfeld and the neocons this state of affairs is indeed lamentable.
Obviously, the neocons will stop at nothing — including the murder of more Americans in a false flag terror attack — to realize their agenda.
Finally, Sy Hersh casts suspicion on himself during the interview when he admits he did not bother to write an article on the neocon casus belli brainstorming session because it did not go forward. “So I can understand the argument for not writing something that was rejected — uh maybe. My attitude always towards editors is they’re mice training to be rats…. But the point is jejune, if you know what that means.” It was “jejune” because Hersh believes the “American public, if you get the right incident, the American public will support bang-bang-kiss-kiss. You know, we’re into it.”
Of course, that may be true for some of the American public, even a large segment, but for those of us up to speed on the master plan of the neocons — total war, so the children of the neocons will “sing great songs about us years from now,” as Richard Perle once said — this comment stinks of irresponsibility. It avoids discussion of the criminal mindset of the neocons, who are determined to start WW IV, even if such a conflict leads to the distinct possibility the Prince of Darkness’ children may not be around to sing great songs.

The reason its a New Pearl Harbor was because the man who founded the company Controlled Demolition Inc was stationed in Pearl Harbor on Dec 7th 1941. In the late 80′,I had the chance to read a book about this ex-mossad agent.The guy had seen the light.He remembered his soul.So he wrote about his experience as a mossad agent.How they recruit people,the trainining period,and gave extensive detail about the missons he was involved in. I think you have got a pretty good view of things. The reality is, people really are waking up in record numbers. When you get big names like Jesse Ventura, Charlie Sheen, Willie Nelson, Bruce Willis etc, speaking out about 911, people start to listen. The bad part about this, is that the enemy is turning up the heat because people are waking up so fast. Hyperdrive!
I do an awful lot of reading and I’m pretty good at connecting the dots. I truly believe we are going to see major food shortages very soon and there are several reasons why. If we are going to fight tyranny effectively, we can’t do it while we are weak, malnourished and starving. Start stocking up on dried/dehydrated foods and canned goods while you can still get them. I have reasons to believe that there will be a run on food in 3-4 weeks! Good idea to get a few bottles of multi-vitamins also, because the new CODEX laws will be in effect soon.

US Government has staged many similar false flag attacks since 1913, when the Federal Reserve was created. The big picture is that the Federal Reserve and all the international\private bankers behind it profit from the wars, hence the need to wage war. Back in WWI all of the Americans didn’t want to get involved in the war, however US Government built a travelling ship and 1200 passengers came on board and it went straight to germany controlled areas, despite being warned by Germany, they still sent the ship towards them. Eventually, the ship got destroyed by Germans and what followed was a massive support by the population to wage war on Germany. When I look at USA, the only thing that comes to mind is Roman Empire. Why? If most of you studied history or are history maniacs, you may know that Roman Empire was a warfare nation. It was constantly at war with only a small exceptions of several years of peace through out the centuries, however the big RED empire had seen alot of years where wars were being fought on the inside of the empire like assassinations, corruption, conspiracies and so on. I don’t think Aaron’s a loon, he just doesn’t have some of the “Facts” completely straight. It was “19 hijackers”, not 17. The “put options” weren’t only put on American Airlines, they were also put on United Airlines (I believe it was). But he’s generally right about the facts. There have been found to be about, or nearly, half of the hijackers still alive, and there were put options put on airlines, etc.
GW has been a Catholic in truth for quite some time. He was “knighted” into “Eulogia” or the eucharist, a pagan right making him a knight of the Catholic Church, and therefore a primary agent in setting up the NWO one-world government and religion. Why does Hersh suddenly stop and ask the audience, “How many press are here?” Does he have something to hide?
So let me get this right, Hersh is telling us that Cheney wanted to put United States Navy Seals in boats that we (tax payers) built and have the Seals killed by Cheney’s assasins to provoke the American public to anger and “prompt a war.” I was disgusted by how flippantly Hersh said, “might cost a few lives,” in reference to our hightly trained, innocent Seals that would be killed. Why aren’t he and Cheney in one of those targeted boats along with the sacrificial Seals?
Hersh goes on to say, “One of the things they learned was that if you get the right incident, the American public will support it, bang bang, kiss kiss we’re into that.” I don’t know who the “we’re” are that he was talking about in his statement. I, for one am NOT “into that.” What war did Hersh or Cheney fight in where either of them saw killing and/or action on the ground? What war did either of the last two presidents fight in?

Is there anyplace online or elsewhere for people to come organize? At this point there’s really no option. It kills me that I might have to fight my own people someday. Worse, they don’t know I’m on their side. I want to create a way to prevent this seemingly inevitable outcome. I’ve joined a number of groups like Ron Paul’s revolution and all that, but I don’t really see it’s manifestation in the general public. It looks as though MOST of the people in agreement with us remain isolated at home, for lack of another place to operate. Does anyone have any suggestions on working groups that DO something about it, or do we just watch our friends get tazed and arrested? Great! More hack journalism based on unnamed, anonymous sources. Sure they guy has a pulitzer. But if you can’t reference or source your data, then it cannot be verified. Hersh maintains exclusivity over his own unverified story. Hence, the rest of the media cannot report it, they can only report on Hersh himself. Until he reveals his source, or the story is cross referenced, I have no reason to find it valid.

I am not sure if anyone else has noticed the change going on in the dfw area over the past several years. I see everybody in their camoflauge shorts from walmart and I ask myself what war are you in? who’s side are you on? and do you really really know what you are fighting for. If I was going to fight in a war and possibly pay the highest price I would want to know exactly what I was fighting for. Dont let some man point you in a direction and say there is the bad guys now go get them.They are taking advantage of you and getting you into a mob pack mentality and divide and conquer senario. Apparently many have lost their ability to reason and think for themselves. The fact that we have to go to war for people to understand that you cant own other people is beyond comprehension. GOD through Moses punished pharoah for the same exact thing. You think GOD is going to allow you to enslave and persecute and no judgements are going to befall you? On the morning of 911 Cheney was given “updates” as to an approaching plane. The officer would come in a say “30 miles out, 20 miles out etc”. That had nothing to do with distance or a plane. The reference to whether the “order still stands” had to do with the signal to detonate the WTC’s. They realized that the firemen would not leave the buildings and the “countdown” was on. Of course the order stands to detonate…have you heard anything different?

This was even reported on countdown last night. This is really good timing with congress going on vacation. People like We Are Change ARE taking action. We need to inform people with “wolfpack”/”gorilla” tactics on an individual basis. THAT is what we must do, THAT is our task for right now. Too many people (understandably) are so afraid and frustrated after becoming aware with our problems. We need to become focused and take (peaceful) action. ALSO YOU need to prepare YOURSELF with food, water, guns & ammo, and information, THAT is that ACTION that we ALL must take. Participate in LOCAL elections, go to town hall/ city council meetings. We need to also be aware that if our “Leaders” in the movement or even National leaders get “suicided” or otherwise end up discredited that we have over 300 million more “Leaders” that can take their place (all may not be qualified or aware but we need to have that mentality so we won’t be “stunned” by those type of events). We don’t need to invest so much in iconic figures as much as being iconic figures on an individual level.
The problem with the “under one unbrella” approch is that the entire movement could be co-oped by infiltratiors and lead down rabbit trails. Look at political parties, some think they have one side of America’s intrests or another at heart, but when you actually pay attention to them they end up working for the Globalists. How would we be able to avoid (or lessen) such a problem if our movement was “orginaized”. There are organized “pockets” so find a “pocket” and get orginized. If there is not a We Are Change chapter in your area, CREATE ONE. Or even create a new group but think globally and act locally. That is where you will see most change. Why try to fix the neighborhoods of a distant city when your own city, right by you, is going through the exact same attacks by the globalists. So ACT LOCAL!!! Orginize within your city. If they “take out” one city we will have many others. Groups like We Are Change work together but are localized in various places so I think that is a good model to start with. Shoot, run for office and organize your entire city/state/district/county/nation!!! Lot’s of options for those with initiative.
I keep on hearing this alot and I am almost at the point of claiming myself as “Leader” of the movement just so people can have a focus point to run with ideas. I am no one special and do not have a resume a mile long; I haven’t made movies, wrote books, or have run for office. I am bogged down with my “peasant duties” to make my daily bread as much as anyone. I am not an ubermind or military commander, but I have been researching this problem for over 15 years and I think I have a pretty good grasp on things and how to go about it. But we must realize that WE ARE ALL LEADERS!!! Here in America We The People are Ceasar so give Ceasar their Due!! THAT is the Additute we need to have and not look for our hope in a person or group of people. If on an individual basis we protected ourselves and our loacl areas, had an additued of individualism that reflects our individual rights, we can not fail. We fail by getting caught up in “group-think” and forget that protecting our freedoms is also an individual duty.

On November 12, 1969, Hersh broke the story of the My Lai Massacre, in which hundreds of unarmed Vietnamese civilians were killed by U.S. soldiers in March 1968. The report prompted widespread condemnation around the world and reduced public support for the Vietnam War in the United States.

They are already killing Americans everyday in our food, drugs, etc. Even soda pop has ingrediants that can kill you under the right conditions.
Why do you think they are giving these vaccines that are tainted with diseases to our armed forces? So when the NWO wants to take over they won’t have to fight trained seasoned troops at home.

we need to create a new Declaration of Independence. Use the same preamble and change the indictment section. It should be online and allow for signers… that would create a political force. What can you do, to give these sceptics something to think about? A few facts, maybe?
- Wasn’t it so, that Larry Silverstein has insured the collapsed buildings, especially against terror attacks?
- Wasn’t it so, that Condi Rice has said, that no one could imagine that, plaines were being used to fly into buildings?

With the productivity gains made since the 50’s every household could be supported at 1950’s levels with JUST one breadwinner working two days a week! Income “taxes” should actually annual $12k “dividend” checks PER capita with our current productivity ! ! ! YES, that’s $12,000 TO YOU and you and you i.e. EVERY AMERICAN! And, yes, that means NO INCOME TAX. Income tax was set up right after the private “federal reserve” to cover those pesky interest payments that compound mathematically into slavery.
When we can once again OWN our own money system these corruptions of this horror story (and thread) and many other thorny problems can work themselves out as we rise up as a people and truly “steward” this beautiful planet and of course, each other!

Having read all the 198 comments I would like to say we live in a world of disinformation. I did not agree with many of Coopers assessemts but his raw data was very helpful to my views of the highest probabilty of truth. I love Alex’s tirades and life would be so boring without him. I will love seeing the video of him with a motorized bull horn at the last Bilderberg meeting. lol What will he think of next to get attention? He admitts he has a problem in controling himself and my hope is anyone around him will protect him to give him a fair fisticuff fight with his attackers.

To expand on JACKBOOT’s #201 comment, I think he has a good idea. Since so many people want to know what to do, when is the gunfighting going to start, or just cliam what they would do if such and such a situaiton ever happened to them or one of their own, maybe all those capable should find out where Alex Jones, Ron Paul, Jessie Ventura, and many of the other patriots who Alex has interviewed are and follow them around all day long giving them body guard services.
Now, obviously the enemy will eventually start something that will start a shoot out, but the defense will obviuosly be a glorious one that will down history as the first shot of the real revolution, the day when the battle cry started from the masses. They enemy of course has the high tech weapondry and the tanks and aircraft, but it will be an organized effort on the part of the ones who are serious and capable of doing something for the first time as the question constantly arises about everyone organizing somehow to do something useful for the cause of stopping this police state we are now in.
Ones like Alex, Dr. Paul, and Jessie Ventura are alone in a sense. They are lone wolves. They are loners. They are the ones who are presently out on the front line. So why not start an organized effort yourselves to be with those loners on the front line while you can? Go help those on the front line already, bodily help that is, not just writing here or buying some of their books. Physically they have no protection, even if they have private body guards. Those who are capable of doing what I just suggested now becomes public involvement and the front liners are the ones who need it most. I am sure that someone here can now expand on this to make it work. Yes?

I have been saying for years one way to fightback and send a message to washington and thier business partners in crime is for every working class American to stop working for just one day at the same time, it would bring those warmongers to their knees. Hitting wear it hurts the most in their pockets. Do you realize we are the ones who make them rich, we are the ones who just give them power, TAKE OUR POWER BACK. It has been done and it has worked. A small town in England was fed up with the city government and staged a sick day, brought the city to their knees and the people won. Everyone cannot be fired at once.
