Chertoff: Stop Complaining About the Fascist Control Grid

It makes sense Michael Chertoff would make his latest anti-liberty comments while addressing the Heritage Foundation. After all, the “conservative” foundation — read, neocon foundation — is funded by the beer magnate Joe Coors and CIA operative Richard Mellon Scaife, heir of the Mellon industrial and banking fortune. Heritage was on the ball after 9/11, as it created the Homeland Defense Project, a “task force” cranking out “recommendations” for Chertoff’s police state.
“At a speech before the Heritage Foundation this week, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said the U.S. needs to have a ‘nonpoliticized, serious discussion’ while writing new laws to define the best way to combat terrorism,” reports the HAI website.
Translation: Chertoff does not want “serious discussion” on the political aspects of further denigration of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Chertoff said that once laws are written, the public should not second-guess government actions and claim that federal officials are overstepping their authority. He decried critics who make such accusations, despite the widespread pubic calls after the September 11, 2001 attacks for the U.S. government to do more to protect the country. Chertoff further said U.S. society needs to come to a determination as to what are acceptable authorities for the U.S. government versus what violates people’s rights.
In other words, how dare the commoners, soon to be classical feudal serfs, “second-guess” authoritarian government actions such as illegal checkpoints, gun confiscation, CPS kidnapping, and primarily building a panopticon surveillance state all the envy of Orwell’s Big Brother. Chertoff is tired of wishy-washy commoners complaining about a predatory government, no different than the Mafia in the way it shakes down subjects through confiscatory taxation, in the way it imports narcotics, tortures and tasers the public, steals property, invades and occupies small defenseless countries, murders and enslaves millions of people around the world.
If the public limits what the government can do, it must accept that the risk of terrorist attacks may increase, he said. If the public gives the government greater authorities, it should not criticize the government for using those authorities at a later date.
Chertoff is essentially telling us that if we do not allow the government to impose its fascist state and finish construction of a suffocating control grid, “terrorist attacks may increase,” that is to say there will be false flag terrorist attacks unleashed by the government. Chertoff and the ruling elite understand phony terrorist attacks launched by the CIA and the Pentagon will arm-twist the unwashed masses into accepting the imposition of a police state.
Chertoff called U.S. laws “woefully inadequate” in the context of current technology. He said the most significant step American society needs to take is adapting laws to the 21st Century challenge of fighting terrorism. Changes in technology have created unique challenges for the government when it comes to intercepting communications, as well as collecting and analyzing information found in the public domain according to Chertoff.

This is so transparent as to be a bad joke. Chertoff demands we abandon the Fourth Amendment and allow the government to install all manner of snoop technology — on our telephones, computers, in public spaces, on public streets and highways, in school classrooms, even in bathrooms and dressing rooms — and after they install this intrusive technology we have no right to complain, that is unless we want to get hit again by CIA groomed cave dwelling terrorists.
Of course, Chertoff is simply blowing smoke out of a certain orifice. Bush — or Hillary, Obama, McCain — will impose martial law and finish installing technology soon after the next staged event, promised to come sooner or later, according to our rulers and their minions, regardless of what the commoners want.
Sadly, most people, hooked up to the idiot box and their game consoles, will scarcely notice, that it until our rulers begin disappearing their relatives and neighbors in earnest, as all fascist states invariably do.

I just want to say something about the more aggressive comments here. Plenty of people want revenge and sound like they just can’t wait to get it.
I’m all for revenge, but revenge would be much more gratifying if it were achieved in a manner that doesn’t rhyme with ‘their’ methods.
A problem can never be solved on the level it was created. You can’t fight fire with fire. Or maybe you can, but only temporarily. It won’t change things in a much needed deeper manner. The name ‘We Are Change’ is very well chosen for that reason.
Here’s a suggestion: Once the shit hits the fan, and we have the masses on our side, wouldn’t it be much more gratifying to watch the scum learn how to be human beings by, for example, forcing them to teach a night-class in, say “integrity, truth, and human dignity”. If they fail in that, we can always string ‘em up. At least we will have given them a chance.

I have no idea whether this stuff is written by Rockefeller interests or by someone who doesn’t like them. When you use self-fulfilling prophecies, like in saying that some terrifying outcome is inevitable, or that we have “rulers”, you’re not doing anything to combat that. In fact, you’re just enforcing it by causing others to think that way. So you’re just creating a group of people who use their minds to think terrifying thoughts, and that energy is output to the world, and could be bringing about the situation you say we should try to avoid. You’re creating fear in the same way the “terrorists” in our government are doing it.
Perhaps helping people understand their non-limitations is a better way to do this. We could write articles that talk about building up resistance to fascism, resisting biological threats using the knowledge of the wholeness of a person’s perfect regenerative health, etc. But that doesn’t sell dehydrated food and the other crap Alex or the webmaster of this site is making money on referrals from, which it seems is all this site is really here for.

What’s needed is more INDEPENDANT NONE BIASED OR CORPORATE FINANCED research into the taser and it’s effects, along with full medical follow up of testies for months after. This, along with 1 voluntery tasering of EVERY OFFICIAL who would be involved in such incidents and the decision making that follows (police, doctors,medics,lawyers, and yes Judges). Then I think the system might start to become more enlightened on the taser’s uses and effect.
That or 1000’s of deaths from none related offences (ex; stopped for speeding ticket, civil disputes with children, none compliant street people, etc.) It’s sad when we start treating each other like cattle. But HEY! There’s no police state! Everythings fine citizens. Just remember, the taser was only to be used in potentially violent situations. Ten years ago I would never have believed that the American people would acquiesce to a totalitarian regime such as the one we now have in place. I pray that there are still some people who have the “will” that founded our great country. We pushed the British back across the Atlantic and it is past time to get rid of the criminals that are destroying our country. It is terrible that so many people are hopelessly brainwashed and must obey “authority” even when they instinctively know it is wrong to do so.
Apparently, a majority of people still believe that the system works because more people are turning out to vote in the primaries than ever before. That in itself is discouraging because the candidates all are of questionable character. In particular, McCain and Clinton are despicable with track records that should have them in jail instead of running for President.
Ron Paul is a very honorable person whether you agree with him on all issues you can trust him to do the right thing. Again the mainstream media squashed that opportunity to take the country back in the right direction.
In regard to the article it is absolutely right on the money. It is fearful that such a man as Chertoff and those behind the scenes who support him control our destiny. How can one explain a population that allows such invasion and destruction of their lives by people of such low quality? To say nothing of a complete of lack of conscious for all the death and torture of innocent people in other countries. Maybe in the end we deserve to lose our freedom because we did not use it honorably.
There is no question that the people in our government are criminals yet we honor and obey them. It is disgusting.

Look at all these posts, there is quite a lot of angry people here. Look, if we all know full Martial Law is coming, why don’t we do something about it? I am a former Marine and have noticed the private sector like Black Water and other private firms are getting bigger. What we need is a peoples private firm, I know theres a lot of ex-military on this site, why don’t we all have a plan so that when it does happen, will be ready.
Surely, doing this all alone is going to be tough and thats why everyone needs to lose egos and stop fearing the Government. Revolutions don’t happen when the people are afraid, the propaganda is getting out of hand now. It’s always a new type of propaganda from the new movie Iron Man or watching Hillary on David Letterman, it’s getting really bad to the point where most people in America either fear or don’t even pay attention to the Government. I know it’s tough people having to work eight to five, Monday through Friday sometimes even working overtime.
Most Americans are to enslaved in there daily lives working for shit and barely affording there bills, house, car and kids if you got them. Most Americans just want to relax, watch T.V. with there family and then maybe watch some sports on the weekend or weekdays. To me this sounds like we have all fallen into there trap, a trap of being to comfortable with our lives. The Government has caught us all in there web and they don’t plan on releasing us (Just read the book Super Class).
I am now the drummer of the Hard Rock Group Concrete Ritual. I came from Connecticut after getting out of the military and came to California to join this project . I am 23 now and came to San Francisco at the age of 20. I dropped everything I had in Connecticut a girlfriend of Two years, dog, family, apartment, car and friends to struggle trying to make it big at a time when the record industry is at it’s worst because they never had a plan for internet downloading.
The point is I got away from living comfortably, I used to always go to sport games and watched a bunch of television. Well I don’t watch T.V. anymore (Two Years) and spend my time just practicing drums till all hours of the morning at a studio, this has made me happier than ever. I am also an active human being trying to explain to everybody I see at our concerts to spread the word about whats really going on. A total enslavement and depopulation of the human race. Can we just all work together so that when the time comes to physically bring back the constitution we are prepared, or are we going to have a generation that will just let the Government take any newborns DNA sample so they can have it for the rest of there lives?

Jeremy, if you are reading I want to say I agree. I am back here on the East Coast. Connecticut is my home town. I was born there. Lived most of my life in NJ and now reside in NY.
I also am most happy when I am playing my drums. My wife is also a musician. I feel strongly that invididuals need to wake up and smell the coffee. The water is boiling and getting pretty warm. Very soon, we will not be able to jump out of the pot…
