Chicago Mayor Moves to Shut Down All Gun Stores in Illinois

Late last week, Daley sympathizers in the Illinois House passed HB180 out of the Rules Committee and on to the floor of the House. A vote on HB 180 is expected as early as this coming Tuesday.
Should you be worried about HB 180? ABSOLUTELY!
HB 180 would include the following:
- A d v e r t i s e m e n t
2. HB 180 requires that all your gun purchases be registered with the state police. BOTTOM LINE: HB 180 is a licensing/registration scheme designed to keep track of how many guns you own so they may be easily confiscated at a later date.
3. HB 180 allows any police officer in the state go to any gun shop in the state to conduct so-called record reviews. BOTTOM LINE: The Chicago CAGE Unit could, and would, inspect gun shops across the state doing these record reviews. Shop owners, no matter where they are located, would be forced to cooperate with the CAGE unit or lose their licenses. The true purpose of these visits is to cost gun shops time and money and ultimately cause them to go out of business.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO SAVE YOUR GUNS:
1. Starting Monday morning, call your State Representative and politely tell him/her that you oppose HB 180 and that you would like to see him/her vote against the bill when it comes to the House Floor. If you do now know who your state representative is, go to the following web site and follow the directions for looking up your legislators: Illinois State Board of Elections. If you know who your State Representative is, you can look up the phone numbers of their Springfield and district offices here.
2. Pass this alert on to all your friends and family, ask them to make calls as well.
3. Please post this alert to any and all blogs and bulletin boards to which you may belong.

The bottom line is it doesn’t matter how many gun bills they vote on, pass or force through..and I don’t give a s--- if they know how many guns I own…if they ever decide to confiscate firearms we will go rambo on their asses…I think they know 2 to 3 million staunch advocates of the 2nd amendment could take them down…let em try it I beg them them to try it!!!!!!!!!!!

Regardless of bravado, and an arms cache with ammo, I dare say those helicopters even the odds a bit. Second, seasoned combat troops have the attitude and training to over come. You know that you eat an elephant one bite at a time. So cool down gi joe, you surely will get your chance to shoot someone, but try to do it logically and organised in some manner or you will loose. Remember that the soldier you just shot was your neighbors son, or your grandson. The point here is that this time you will not be shooting at an unknown enemy, but at those you know. So lets be a bit careful on how we do take a stand.

I love this line “The future of lawful gun ownership in Illinois depends on you!” Even these guys have been brainwashed to the point that they do not understand the difference between “lawful” and “legal”. The Constitution only affirms my “lawful” right to own firearms because of my right to self/family/community-defense understood under common law principles. If this statute is passed, it does not become “law” but is simply a policy to be enforced by the corporate officers of the State of Illinois. Look it up on Dunn & Bradstreet. The states and all sub-organizations(state police, sheriff, courts etc.) are set up as for-profit companies. What they really want is registration of firearms by citizens. Whenever you register something(take a look at you car title) you give up ownership of it and the enforcement officers can then do as they like because it is no longer your “property”. Remember that under the Patriot Act they can conduct sneak and peek searches when you are not home and then use anything found to prosecute you. Is that “lawful”? No! Is it “legal”? Yes!

He said:

I understand Nash’s anger. However, the same could be said of the military. They will be shooting someone’s father, mother, son, daughter, etc. and while they’re attacking American citizens, they have to remember that other members of the military are shooting at their families. Maybe this will give them something to think about before they start attacking American citizens. Let’s hope so.

Mayors take their orders from governor’s so when they throw this mayor out as a decoy the governor thats in Obamas pocket can make his moves all the while the mayor holds a flack jacket in front saying “look at me trying to take your guns” which we have all seen played out before if you know your history. To all, I say LOVE is the true power and that the OATH taken by so many is a pledge out of care for what is good and right in this land we call America!
I myself do not wish for a fight and that I have called, emailed, pleaded, challenged to all concerned of their Responsibility and DUTY to the Oath for which they have pledged, from Police, Politicians, Soldiers (I am a Armorer), friends, family and all that are in positions to make a positive effect. Still the ones that are in positions of power will not do THE RIGHT THING or even the job we elected them to, by protecting our sovereign rights as citizens of this land & by promise of their oath to office,leaving us citizens with the last resort to ever come closer.
I am just a man that loves his country and sadly I must now start preparing to defend this land I care so much about; not from some invading Foreign force but my very own ELECTED GOVERNMENT. This is a fight NONE of us should want but to all that have taken the Oath, REMEMBER this!!
Alot of good Men & Women have paid with their lives to keep this land free from the like’s of what we now face and remember that the Man or Woman standing next to you could very well hold true to the Oath that they have taken and so go ahead and commit acts of unconstitutional aggression against the citizens and you just might get a little surprise from the REAL MEN & WOMEN that serve our land and so to the one’s of honor, I SALUTE you and to the ones that dishonor their Oath, I pity you for when you hold your child, think about the world you are giving to that souls’ future and what you may soon be dying for, like I probably will, (at least my death will be with honor)!

adamrosio – CORRECT. I’ve been in military conflicts all over the world and the first thing to fail is all that “highly sophisticated” equipment that so many weak minded people fear. A bucket of water and some dirt can destroy billions of dollars worth of electronics and tight tolerance machinery. The last thing to fail is a rifleman with excellent cover, concealment, and target hitting skills. No war has ever been won without foot soldiers invading and occupying the piece of ground being fought over!

Take a look at Afghanistan to see how our best military technology fails miserably against low-tech guerrilla warfare perpetrated by a dedicated populace. Every law abiding citizens should talk to neighbors, friends, families and discuss about what the politicians are doing to their rights. Also, talk to military members and remind them the first sentence they swore to was “To protect the Constitution against all enemies foreign or domestic”. You have to get their attention as to what their job is really supposed to be, which is to defend American citizens interests around the world and back at home. One politician can become a enemy of the U.S. Constitution, and they need to know that. Even though they swore to obey the laws given them, they have the morale obligation and the duty to protect that vital piece of paper that founded this country.

Listen, although I agree with those ideals, and I hate to put this in such a generic form, but this “progressive” (incrementalists) gov is so out of control and in control, I don’t think we’re getting our republic back through those means. Brave words, but during Katrina they had entire squads of National Guardsmen and Army infantry (yes REAL US Army infantry) on the ground engaging people refusing to give up their guns. I was stopped by 2 truckloads of soldiers who patted me down at gunpoint then took my pocketknife from me – here are loads of videos and stills of similar stories:

The State of IL and the City of Chicago are a PIT!!!!
My feeling is this line that states
“. Require all Illinois gun shops to secure a license to operate issued by the Illinois State Police. Under this bill, the State Police “may” issue a license to a gun shop and would establish all rules and regulations required to keep the license.”
IL politicians will either close them all or only give licenses to people they want to (mainly supporters of their agenda)

Just a note on OPFOR capabilities: patriots mustn’t be overly concerned about the equipment disparities between themselves and hostile governments. Rotorcraft are the most fragile type of aircraft. The Columbians have lost them to FARC riflemen on more than one occasion. Just a few months ago, some guy who had murdered a bunch of people in Virginia shot down a police helicopter while hiding in the woods.
Insurgencies routinely chew up mechanized, combined arms forces. How much armor has the U.S. lost in AF and IZ?
Hostile governments understand this and try to counter it with psyops campaigns to make you think you are powerless against “wonder weapons.”

So you think you can fight tanks, apaches, and armored trucks and vans with a pistol and a machinegun? You and yoour whole house will be a fireball.

Actually, you are mistaken. A guerilla war in the U.S. would be any General’s worst nightmare. Our military cannot be beaten by any conventional force. However, a revolution here would be anything but conventional. On any given block there are 15 gun owners, many of them veterans. Many of the members of our military would change sides once they figured out what was going on. My only fear is that afterwords we might be under a military dictatorship. Look at Afganistan, they have almost nowhere to hide, yet they are handing our asses to us. Keep preaching the word…people are going to need it!
Hopefully we can keep this peaceful. If enough people are awoken and prodded into peaceful activism, maybe we can stop this mess. Pray for it!

It doesn’t really matter what laws are passed, does it? I don’t know any gun owners who will ever relinquish their firearms, law or no law. If they want them, they will have to come take them. To take them, they will have to find them. I don’t claim to be Rambo or anything close, but there has to be a line in the sand drawn at some point no matter who you are. I am no threat to anyone unless they become a threat to me, my family, or our rights as American citizens under the US Constitution. If there are those out there who wish to challenge my resolve on those points, well, come in force, heavily armed, and roll the dice.

What I find both ironic and disturbing about the path ‘our’ country is taking, led by the liberals of course AND conservatives(personally I can’t trust any politician or party), is not much different than that of some of the nations we criticize most.
