China appears to be blocking all access to YouTube. Now, why in the world would it do something like that? I’ve got some theories. First, though, the facts: YouTube use from China started dropping off the map sometime Monday night, with traffic nearly reaching a standstill by Tuesday morning. Google (which owns YouTube) has confirmed the apparent ban, though its staff is not certain of the cause. “We do not know the reason for the blockage, and we’re working as quickly as possible to restore access to our users in China,” a spokesperson says. Google does believe the Chinese government knowingly cut the access. The spokesperson, however, questions why officials wouldn’t have just blocked a specific video, as they’ve done before, rather than nixing the entire site.

Please remove the flashing aspect of the Obama Deception advertisement. It makes it impossible for me to view the web site, it makes me physically ill. Keep the ad. Just remove the rapid red and white strobe effect that is the same effect that is known to induce seizures.

7deviations, this is why AdBlock Plus is absolutely mandatory to view infowars.com. In the past, people have tried to tell Alex that his website is unviewable and unprofessionally crammed with intrusive, gaudy flash banner ads, but he doesn’t want to listen, so you’ll have to take the law into your own hands (as it were) by blocking the ads yourself.

Okay, this is just ridiculous!! China is blocking Youtube becasue of chinese military shown beating tibetin people. I watched this entire thing on BBC (where the past 3 stories on here have come from). As irreprehensible as it is to beat peaceful people’s I think it’s also very malicious and inciteful to print a story without having all the facts!! To say “I don’t know why they did this” is being just as bad aas we all thiink CNN is for telling us half truths. I watch 3 different news channels int he AM. I watch CNN, Fox and the BBC.. and all of these stories come from these sources but with a twist. The Chinese Go0v of course does not want the world to see these people being beaten.. but this video is on YouTube!! It should be on this site. This is old news and to say otherwise is misleading. No, the Chinese government has blocked YouTube because they are a bunch of commie trash and the Rice King over there is fed up with the SEVERELY LIMITED freedom of speech that the people of China have gained through YouTube. Like all communist regimes, the Obama administration also seeks to ban any freedom of speech which interferes with his master plan of tyranny. I wouldn’t be surprised if Barack HUSSEIN Obama and the Rice King aren’t secretly in bed together, plotting the demise of free speech WORLD WIDE! It would only make sense given the fact that the Rice King and Obama are both third world tyrant SCUM!

Is it China banning Youtube or is Youtube blocking access to china? Also the chinese users will not really miss Youtube if cut off. There are other video sharing programs available to them also you still have old sneaker net disc trading is still big their. Banning a movie or a site will end up making it more popular. I think this is going to spawn more video sharing sites.

I have some fairly popular YouTube videos on what helped me when I thought I had cancer, and one thing I noticed about YouTube’s view numbers — they’ve gone DOWN. The numbers of views per video is lower now than it was after the first 2 days that I released the videos!
In other words, YouTube must have some kind of computer program to keep the number of views artificially lower, or they change them manually. You can click on my user account name, and even see that the view numbers are different than on the initial page! (See http://www.youtube.com/user/veggiecooking).
I assume this is because my videos deal with the Hulda Clark zapper, which has been under attack by “Big Pharma” since it came out. I’ve even linked to my videos from a page I have on cancer that’s very popular, which would have driven TREMENDOUS traffic to my videos — the view numbers on my YouTube videos still went DOWN.
I don’t care, as long as people can see them, and the vidoes aren’t blocked. But it just goes to show what Alex has always said — YouTube numbers are CONTROLLED. I suspect that they have a computer program doing it, otherwise they’d have to dedicate a huge number of staff to keep all of their pet subjects down.
