Eurasia is currently experiencing serious problems derived from financial and economic difficulties such as unemployment, GDP negative growth, currency depreciation, overall economic slowdown and so on. Several members of both the European Union and NATO (Poland, Hungary, Iceland come to mind) are already dealing with a considerable deal of domestic discontent. Some States from the Former Soviet Union (notably Ukraine, Belarus and the Central Asian Republics) and even Russia itself are facing similar problems. Even Chinese government officials acknowledge protests in the Chinese mainland, as pointed out by Professor Michael Klare, which means that East Asia is by no means an exception. As we shall see, financial and economic conditions are equally grave in the American hemisphere, if not more so.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Advisor and early supporter of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, has warned that civil unrest on American soil is a possibility that should not be dismissed. Brzezinski explains that "[the United States is] going to have millions and millions of unemployed, people really facing dire straits. And we’re going to be having that for some period of time before things hopefully improve. And at the same time there is public awareness of this extraordinary wealth that was transferred to a few individuals at levels without historical precedent in America…" Brzezinski concludes with this noteworthy remark "…hell, there could be even riots".
The aforementioned means that the upper echelons of the American political elite have realized that the current financial and economic turmoil is not as bad as many experts had foreseen, they are well aware that it is actually much worse and that things could really spiral out of control if the present situation deteriorates even further. Indeed, optimistic signs are nowhere to be found. Quite the contrary.
The full magnitude of the financial tsunami is clearly reflected in a piece written by Barry Ritholtz, who states that the bailout plan promoted by former US Secretary of the Treasury Henry "Hank" Paulson amounts to a sum of money that is superior to the Louisiana Purchase, the New Deal, the Marshall Plan, the Apollo Lunar Project, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the invasion of Iraq and other large government expenditures – combined (!). This illustrates that America’s top policymakers (both Democratic and Republican) hold serious concerns about the health of the American financial system and the American economy.
Lehman Brothers’ bankruptcy (the largest in American history) was merely the tip of the iceberg and economic and financial conditions have dramatically worsened ever since. On January 22 2009, the Christian Science Monitor published that the four largest U.S. banks "have lost half of their value since January 2." Moreover, in the period from summer 2008 to March 2009, the Dow Jones Industrial Average index has decreased more than 50%. Furthermore, during February 2009 alone, more than 651 000 jobs were lost in the US, whose unemployment rate has now reached 8.1 %, the highest in 26 years. Also, some US car manufacturers (such as Ford, General Motors and Chrysler), once the pride of America’s industry, are practically on life support.

All of the above indicates that the much-feared financial meltdown is no longer a distant and remote possibility because in fact it is already taking place. However, this chaos might trigger some very serious and preoccupying consequences. In order to have a clear understanding of these implications, it is vital to take into account some reports that were not given the proper amount of attention they deserved when they were first published.
Professor Michel Chossudovsky observed that the US Army 3rd Infantry’s 1st Brigade Combat Team returned from Iraq some months ago. That information is extremely disturbing because such military unit "may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control", according to official sources. Now, what scenario could possibly require the operational deployment of said units on American soil? Professor Chossudovsky puts forward an intriguing hypothesis that must be borne in mind. He argues that "Civil unrest resulting from from the financial meltdown is a distinct possibility, given the broad impacts of financial collapse on lifelong savings, pension funds, homeownership, etc".
Shortly afterwards, the Centre for Research on Globalization website posted an article written by Wayne Madsen. Mr. Madsen claims that a highly confidential official report has been circulating among senior members of the US Congress and their top advisors. The report has been allegedly nicknamed as the "C & R document". The author stipulates that those letters stand for none other than "conflict" and "revolution" because those scenarios are supposedly regarded by America’s policymakers as plausible consequences triggered by a financial meltdown. According to Mr. Madsen, the content of the document reveals that severe financial chaos could spark a major war if Washington refuses to honor its foreign debt and/or massive riots in US cities if the American population does not accept a considerable tax increase.
For decades, overall political stability in the US was taken for granted. However, as it has been pointed out, even senior American statesmen are taking into consideration that financial volatility could fuel a wave of discontent which could easily reach troubling proportions. It seems that America itself is not immune from "regime-threatening instability" as the Pentagon and the American intelligence community terms it. It is likely that American government officials have not dismissed the worst-case scenario. Indeed it looks like they have been preparing accordingly.
Therefore, as has been scrutinized here, once one proceeds to connect the dots a very dark picture begins to emerge, to say the least. An all-encompassing cloud of uncertainty prevents us from formulating an accurate forecast regarding what developments will occur and how they will unfold during the next few months, let alone years. The only thing that can be taken for granted and that one can be sure of is that the unthinkable has now become thinkable.

Filtering all this info. is hectic at best but there’s a lot of reliable information. Just tracing it back to the source is a pain with all the media hype and propaganda. It’s sickening reading Obama this and Obama that Oooooh Ahhhhhh its all Smoke and Mirrors. Then there’s the Radicals reactions and though its justified its annoying when I’m reading about Satan coming to tattoo numbers on my forehead. I think civil unrest is fine as long as it is non-violent, that is exactly what “they” want. Violent action on a large scale will justify the need for all the increase in the police state. We as a intelligent educated people simply need to exercise our rights that they havent taken from us yet, get active and speak out and educate anyone who is planning violence to simply prepare for a worst case senario. The ABCs of Future Life… Submitted solely as possible fictional movie script themes I’ve been working, sending feelers out to Hollywood directors and producers.
Scenario A:
In an alternate universe, quite unlike this one, a plan for total conquest of a planet is well on its way to consummation, to completion.
Some brave souls make the decision to move against this.
The first ones to move, as in Getting It Done, forfeit their lives.
Accomplishing the surgical strikes, the selected hits, with pics/vids of results, along with deceased perps’ Internation Identification Shields, trumpeted across the SCG (Silicone Communications Grid, a variant of our own internet), emboldens many, very very many. A momentum is built that can’t be stopped.
Cooperation Ministers (Politicians) and BBBs (Big Buck Bosses) of the fictional United Sections of Animosity are caught BEFORE they are safe in bunkers, before the shit really hits the fan, before they have the chance to scurry off and hide.
The, “Birthpangs,” (projected title of movie) are not pleasant, but in the end an insane corruption is excised, and the fear of death is put into those who previously exercised just that over a formerly captive populace.
Scenario B:
In an alternate universe, quite unlike this one, a plan for total conquest of a planet is well on its way to consummation, to completion.
The steps are allowed to be taken and completed. Each phase put into place, and finalized.
Then, for the sake of earthly lives, i.e. temporal survival of themselves and their families, the majority submit to a damnable (literally, as in souls) system.
The agonizing decisions are made with plenty of attendant drama.
Scenario C:
In an alternate universe, quite unlike this one, a plan for total conquest of a planet is well on its way to consummation, to completion.
The steps are allowed to be taken and completed. Each phase put into place, and finalized.
Then, for the sake of eternal souls, and those of family members, some refuse to submit to a damnable system…. and they and their loved ones die torturous deaths of starvation and exposure.
The agonizing decisions are made with plenty of attendant drama.
I confess, I vacillate between Scenario A and Scenario C for this Movie Script.
Not sure just what message to send to the movie going audience.
After all, if I choose A, then there might be some impressionable viewers who would confuse fiction with reality, and, “act out.” And where would that get us over here on Terra Firma?
If I choose C, then there might be a lie down and die virus propagated across the populace.

I’ve just been informed that a Hollywood movie maker who read rough drafts of all three will tentatively buy the $cript for $cenario C combined with a good dollop of $cenario B for a tidy $um!

Yes this is true but what you fail to realize is that not everyone would be affected by these fancy, shmancy weaponries that they have. Not all people would be hindered by the ELF type guns, or microwave guns, sound weapons, etc. There are always counterbalances to every action produced on the face of this planet. You just have to know what they are. They are pretty simple. Alot of the weaponry they have is technological based and dealing with electronics. Marc- you make an excellent point, going balls out will result in m ore damage than good. That said, we cannot take a totally defensive approach, because like its been said before in other posts, a totally defensive war is a war lost. Carefully planned and even more carefully executed ambushes would be much more effective and damaging strategy. This would also give resistors time to figure out the weaknesses inherant to these complex advanced weapons systems. Remember even the best suit of armor has its chinks- it just takes time and careful planning and execution to be able to find it and exploit it.

Dear Folks,
I have been mulling over some possible scenarios for the implementation of martial law and this is one I think is highly plausible: The administration is expanding social welfare benefits but they will be insufficient to combat hyper-inflation. When people in the inner cities aren’t able to afford the basics with their stipends, widespread violence will occur. Rather than stopping it, the state/local/national authorities will wait until these people start making violent forays into suburbia. These forays are likely to be violently repelled by the largely caucasian inhabitants of these areas. Then the Federal Government, with the help of the mainstream media will use the ruse of quelling “horrible, racist white violence against minorities” to implement martial law and gun confiscation. Couching it in the terms of fighting white racism will make gun confiscation acceptable to the vast majority of people, white and minority alike. Thoughts and Comments?

I don’t know anymore. I have been called many things of this board (mostly troll)…But what I really am is confused and a bit worried for my family. I have always don’t ok, made good money, I would say rich, but I felt secure in my future. I brought a nice house nothing crazy, I got a 2nd loan on the house and put in a nice pool. The bank wanted to give me 2, 3 times the money I needed, but I said no thank you. Well today, I struggle to pay the bills, i still make the same money, the credit cards bill just keep coming and I just keep struggling. I sometimes think how did I get into this mess…
breakins on my street have increased…I am starting to think that things are really starting to fall apart. Hug your love ones, and hope we do get a real leader to get us out of this mess.

I think people have to realize that when this goes most people, many of us included will be doing everything we can just protect our own homes and businesses. We won’t be able to go do some revolution which I think will fail anyway.
We should think seriously about just surviving the first few months, then if the streets started filling with dead and jackboots are coming for us, then maybe go after them. But right when this thing fails completely? No way! We won’t last a minute on the streets. None of you are taking into account the some five to thirty million illegals in this country. When this things goes this country will be like candy store for them. What about the drug dealers from south of the border just waiting for the fertilizer to hit the fan here? You want to go up against guys who will cut your head for nothing?
Wait till the lunatics kill each other in the streets and our corrupt cops with them. This should take no longer than two to three months, then we go mop up. Anything sooner, and we are signing our death warrant.

I think we should all stop being so angry. The world/life is a lot to digest. We only have so much time in this existence. Instead of critizing everyone for what they do or don’t do or how ignorant they are, why don’t we have more compassion and realize that we are all one.
God, Allah, buddah, Jesus, Jah….they are only names. Why are we so busy reprimanding other’s beliefs and judging the actions or inactions of others. When we do that we are not doing anything productive at all.
productivity…that should be the focus. All this BS banter is not going to get us anywhere. So lets talk. Lets discuss. lets try to UNDERSTAND one another better. There are so many different prespectives to see. Yours is the easiest for you to believe.
WE MUST NOT FORGET THAT WE ARE ALL CONNECTED!!!!!
So This is my question…What can we do as individuals to better our country and what we stand for…which is of course FREEEEEEDOM, Life love liberty, the pursuit of happiness. I think everyone understands the desire to be free and happy. I feel so disconnected because all people ever want to do is shake fingers.
You are not solely GOD so why are you telling me what is right. We ARE all Godly creatures, so why don’t we treat eachother like that more often.
I’m lost….and I know I am not alone.

While the guy who wrote above is right. If you check the box on a job application that asks if you are a U.S. citizen and you mark the no box, you won’t get hired. You’d have to argue with some stupid fuck as to the argument here. It’s like these forms are the problem. Not enough people fully understand this correct spelling thing. Kinda like when the IRS sends you anything in the mail, your name is in all caps. That folks is a fiction or corporation. The riot already happened, policy makers voted yea for deregulation and wall street, comex and the bankers had a multi-year riot looting America. People pissed off is the result since no justice is forthcoming and bailing out insolvent banks or dickering with interest rates isn’t going to fix it.
