Climate pact in jeopardy as China refuses to cut carbon emissions

China will not make a binding commitment to reduce carbon emissions, putting in jeopardy the prospects for a global pact on climate change.

The refusal is a setback for President Obama’s efforts to drum up support for an agreement at Copenhagen in December on a successor treaty to the Kyoto Protocol. As argument erupted between rich and poor nations at the Bonn talks, Yvo de Boer, the UN climate change chief, said that a worldwide pact to prevent global warming was “physically impossible”.
Hopes that Copenhagen might deliver tougher carbon reduction targets were dashed further when Japan failed to make a significant commitment to reduce emissions. Taro Aso, the Japanese Prime Minister, said on Wednesday that Japan would cut greenhouse gas emissions by 15 per cent by 2020 from levels in 2005. The Japanese commitment is a mere 2 per cent improvement on its commitment under Kyoto.

They had to shut down their factories for 2 weeks before olympic games started just to have relatively clean air. I was in China at the time and the sun came out while the torch guy ran by and I had some good pics. All other times I have been there were smoggy days. I don’t advocate the carbon taxes but I doubt these guys have the proper filters and proper equipment to at least minimize the amount of pollution they emit into the air.
You have to ask yourself this…if China can get away with not having to pay a carbon tax should everyone else have to? Is China going to be the next country that gets blackballed by the UN? What would be the repercussions if this came to pass?

You need to put CHEMTRAILS in the mix to see whats been happening to the climate for the last 10 years. Millions of tons of Aluminum and Barium and other material. You can see it in the sky, even when they aren’t spraying. It’s not as blue.
The sky is not as blue as it used to be and there is recorded GLOBAL DIMMING. So of course there has been some cooler temperatures.
Just because they want to tax it doesn’t mean its bullshit. Remember, Bush said global warming wasn’t real too and tried to stifle the science (look it up). Then he had a private meeting with all the Oil company heads. Next thing, Chemtrails are massivly increased and they run the price of oil to $150.00

If you can flip off the Obama administration, you can surely work on alternate forms of energy and develop the clean and cost-effective alternatives that the NWO is denying everyone else.

When it comes to all factions of the new world order I believe that even with all the techocratic planning and assumptions that these powerful few have in manipulating the world that they will fail miserably. I may not agree with the policies of China, but good move in denying the Anglo-American’s proposal to world domination by taxation. I had a conversation with a Marine outside of Walmart (I know…..) on flag day to give a donation to support the troops. I said as I dropped the dollar in that I would love to support the troops because I have friends and family who are in the military…..but that I do not agree with the war. He then says “Well who started it?” I then told him that there is valid debate about who started what as of today. He then explained that we would all be speaking Japanese and German if it wasn’t for them…I interjected saying “…..or even Chinese! We’re not too far away from that if you think about it! They have all of there stuff here!”

The wealthy will NOT cut back because they can afford any rates increased even when they are the major cause with electric and water bills totaling 20 homes worth in some cases.

Yeh i’m finding it hard to fit China into the NWO puzzle. I get the impression they are using them for their own ends but will never submit fully. I get the impression that China is the one country that no one wants to fuck with not even the US. At the end of the day in some ways they are already in full control of their population and i guess are way ahead of the NWO in that respect. I wouldn’t be surprised if they look up to China. Plus the Far East in general i can’t see forming a Union unless it is under full control of China who then turns on the North American Union an EU rather than going long with it.
I’m not sure because Rockefeller meets with the Japanese emporer all the time for tea and biscuits. Not really researched that side of things in great detail so perhaps others might be able to put me straight?

There are a billion people in China, many of whom live without what we in the US would call “basic necessities” ie indoor plumbing and electricity. In order to give even a majority of people those basic luxuries, China will HAVE to continue to build coal fired power plants (the cheapest and easiest). Their “carbon footprint” will HAVE to increase. If it doesn’t, their people are going to be pissed off, and why not? Who are we to say that “well, oh, our people live in the lap of luxury (relatively speaking) but you have to keep getting your drinking water from a polluted river, living in a rickety shack, crapping in a hole outside and grubbing in the dirt like a dark ages peasant.” The Chinese aren’t going to go for that and they shouldn’t have to.

2) Average annual temperatures are now trending downward since 1998

3) Ocean temperatures have not risen since 2000 when the 3000 Argo buoys
were launched. The buoys even show a slight decrease in ocean temperatures
4) The Arctic ice froze to February levels by December 07, there are 1mm
more sq km than before (previous was 13mm sq km)
5) The Arctic ice is 20cm thicker than “normal” (whatever that is)
6) All polar bear pods are stable or growing (NOAA/PBS)
7) Mount Kilimanjaro is not melting because of global warming, rather
The Antarctic is not “melting”, it is growing in most places, the
“sublimation”
sloughing off at the edges is normal as the ice mass grows
9) The majority of the Antarctic is 8 degrees below “normal” (again,
whatever that is)
10) The coveted .7 degree rise in temperatures over the last 100 years
has been wiped out with last years below “normal” temperatures (NOAA
coolest winter since 2001)
11) Al Gore’s film was just deemed “propaganda” in a court of law in the

12) It was also just reveled that some of the footage in Als film was

16) Many scientists are now predicting 30 years of cooling.
17) The greenhouse effect is real, our small contribution to it cannot
